I bought a 2019 Tacoma with 89k. So far performance is fantastic and can definitely experience the quality build. This has made me skeptical of the reviews about poor engine build and transmission problems like hunting for gears. Can't pretty much dispel the proven track record of the 2019 as one of Toyota best build of the year. As for the transmission, it is still the best performing and reliable 6 speed transmission as compared to the other brands with high failure rates. One of the reason I stick with Toyota because I once had another brand manufacturer bought new and as soon as it hit over 100k, transmission problems or some solenoid problem. As for the engine, the dealer even included a lifetime engine warranty. That just tells me, they never expect the engine to fail. the review with the engine knocking sounds like an another brand car. it just doesn't happen to a toyota.

I bought a 2021 Toyota Rav4 in December 2021. I found the vehicle I wanted online and spoke with Anna C from Nucar Tarbox to see if they had the vehicle. I have been with Honda in Seekonk since 2011 leasing vehicles in 2016 I purchased a gorgeous 2016 Honda HRV service was excellent until I brought my car in for an oil change and pointed out peeling paint around my windows . The dealership said oh didn’t you get a letter warning you about this I said I didn’t they said the letter was issued in 2019. I said I have been here many times since 2019 my salesman always came over to say hello never never never mentioned anything about this defect nor any technician. It was like I got a secret. Needless to say now they wanted to charge me for the paint job and the salesman was actually trying to sell me a new car. My car is a 2016 and only has 34,000 miles on it. It’s prestige on the inside but on the out side it looks like a piece of junk. All the times I was there they never mentioned anything to me as I said when it was too late they treated me terrible.They had a real good laugh. They are great at KEEPING SECRETS but want your money.

For the size of motor it's surprisingly powerful. The transmission is smart and performs when needed, use the manual shift when needed. The ride is smooth, the suspension superior on the freeway handling anything I ask of it nicely. Off road it has traction features galore, nothing left for complaints. Best truck I ever owned.

Purchased this truck for it's reliablity.Opted for a SR5 trim because it's not lifted nor branded with stickers. Have 44-k miles now. No issues. Just scheduled factory maintenance. I plan to run this truck well over 300-k miles. Is it perfect? No. The engine is somewhat lack luster, the gas milesage is just okay and the interior is somewhat small compared to a full size truck. however,However, I trust this truck to serve me well into the future without any major issues.

I bought my 2017 in spring of 2020 with 27k miles for $27k. I was specifically looking for a TRD Sport, manual trans. The Tacoma is the only manual trans truck produced anymore. I currently have 80k miles on it now and the blue book still shows it at $23k-$24k. I have not had any issues with it. I have done my own maintenance (oil changes and just recently front brake pads). The 2017 was the last year before they added all the safety stuff with the cruise controls. I'm glad I don't have that stuff. I also have the map system in my factory head unit and don't have to rely on the Apple carplay or Android auto apps. There was some discomfort in the seat. It was easily resolved with items that can be purchased to adjust the seat to your liking. There are a lot of complaints on the power and fuel mileage. Really?? Its a truck. Its not a sports car or compact sedan. Its not going to get the greatest mileage or set land speed records. If you want something that always starts, never leaves you stranded, and you can count on everyday, this is the one. If you want something that you want to spend a bunch of money repairing, you may want to look elsewhere.

I was out looking for a new Highlander Hybrid and decided to try Falmouth Toyota. 3 years ago I bought a certified Highlander from High and it was a nightmare when they cornered me in the back office. I met Brian who said I would have to get on a long list because they were in such demand. Someone dropped off the list and he found me one in a little more than a month. No pressure and they kept me informed as to where it was in transit and they never asked for a dime until it was delivered and I picked it up. The sales manager and business manager was also great to deal with. I had service with my 2018 Highlander and the service department is the best.

I leased a 2020 Toyota Tacoma and loved it. It was reliable but a little loud inside but that was fine. I just looked at the 2024 Tacoma and they got ride of the 6 cylinder and got a turbo motor. I don’t trust anything made after 202- so I’m looking for a 2021 Tacoma.

My 2021 SR5 Tacoma is louder on the inside than my 2006 Tacoma was after 137,000 miles. Would seem like there wasn't as much sound deadening material installed for increased profits. Exterior lighting was also via halogen or incandescent bulbs rather than LEDs; another profit pinch.

I had a truly excellent experience working with Nuno during the purchase of my Miata. For a non full size pickup it seems pricey, but then again full size truck prices are ridiculous. The interior is really nice, spacious and well built. The truck handles incredibly well, and the 4 cylinder turbo has plenty of power. I was impressed with it's 6,000+ towing power. The exterior is mean looking and looks great heading down the road. I bought a SR model because I need a truck, not something full of options. The only downside is the box is smaller and holds a lot less than a full size and the Toyota sense safety is a bit much. I know it's there for a reason but it can be confusing.

So far I am very pleased with my Toyota Tacoma, it is more than I expected and the biggest surprise is the low interior noise and the smooth ride. I was able to go down to south Florida (Pembroke Pine area with my three kid and they enjoyed the ride. Every time we are going some where they want me to take the Tacoma instead of my wife Honda mini van.

New owner of a 2024 Limited, extremely happy with the driving comfort, even though it does have a restricted leg room in the backseat which seldom is used. Upgraded technology inside the cabin with the 14 inch screen and the dial controls for the radio four-wheel-drive and HVAC controls. I really like the spray in bedliner power tailgate the exterior bed lights and the power steps also the rear sliding power window. my fuel economy is about 22 miles per the gallon but as of now it’s only got 1000 miles on it so I’m anticipating that to improve as the engine gets broken in. I do find that the standard turbo four-cylinder makes a slight rumble going uphill, but I have ordered a sound attenuation pad for under the hood and that should eliminate that. I find the driver in passenger seats to be equally comfortable with good bolstering as well as a lumbar support system that is four ways. I was a previous owner of a Ford F150 and a Dodge Ram 1500, but I wanted a pick up truck that would fit in my garage. Having have been a previous Toyota owner, I am looking forward to many years of problem free concerns based on the high-quality of Toyota and also the ACSI rating number of 83.

Every department at Robertsons has knowledgeable employees that are extremely friendly and helpful. After 15 years with my previous Tacoma TRD Offroad, I bought the same vehicle to replace it. I really wasn't ready to replace it but the 24's don't excite me with the 4 cylinder turbo and I figured the longer I wait, the harder it would be to find a discontinued 6 cylinder in new condition. I got lucky and found a 3 month old 23 with 1,400 miles on it. I think Toyota screwed up with the 24 models, they cheapened them in many ways, crap engine, thinner frame, less underbody protection. Basically, they made them for people who don't want or need a truck but like the image.

I have 89,000 miles on my 2017 Tacoma SR. It has been a great truck except for a couple small issues and one larger issue. The big problem started 3 months ago when the AC compressor started seizing up. Took it to the Toyota dealer for service. I have been waiting on an OEM compressor for over 3 months. Unable to get one even though I had to pay $1000.00 dollars up front to the dealer before they would order it.

The most stress free and enjoyable buying experience ever! Shant (our Salesperson) was upfront about everything. No games here, and we purchased a truck we are most happy with. And, it checked out perfectly with our Mechanic.

My Third Tacoma. My first was a single cab which I drove a couple of years. My second I drove 14 years and I am on my fourth year in my current Tacoma. I don't intend to drive anything else unless They get so expensive, I can't afford it, or they quit making them. High mileage with low cost and no problems.

This is my 3rd Tacoma. Purchased 2017 TRD New, no issues 91k Miles and still on original brake pads, alternator and starter. Mileage could be better.
