I was in the market to purchase a reliable used car for my daughter for under $5k. We had been all over town for a couple of weeks. We finally landed at Sensible Choice Saturday and immediately knew this experience was going to be different. The office was clean and welcoming. Wayne was our salesperson - he was exactly what we needed. I told him what we were looking for, he showed us what he had in his inventory and told us to take a look at which ones we were interested in. We looked at a few cars and test drove a couple of them. We sold our silver SLE in excellent conditions with just over 300K miles. I am certain it still has a long life ahead of it. It remains one of the most favorite cars we have owned. Over the years we took it on 5 cross country trips and it never missed a beat. Pros: *Absolutely reliable. *Huge trunk for a convertible, especially with the top down vs. other cars. * Looks have held up very well. * Decent highway mileage. * SLE has heated seats, cruise control, etc. Cons: None. Buying a used SLE today and then spending an extra ~$1000 to put in a very good audio/nav system with android auto/Carplay, review camera would make for a terrific car.

I've had my 2005 Solara convertible Cosmic Blue SLE for about 7 months and I have loved every second of it. I have enjoyed bringing it back to life. I love it! I get a lot of compliments on it. Great car so far and I cant wait to drive it for many more years to come.

Have had a number of Toyotas and Lexus in the family. My primary car is '08 Highlander Base w/170k on it, super clean and runs like a clock. Wanted something fun and after about 3-4 months found an '07 SLE convert., in white with tan leather. Think I got a good one with 74k, on it. No engine leaks, trans. leaks, just did front brakes and will do rears in the fall. Comfortable, quality, stylish. Power is its biggest shortfall, but more than adequate. Transmission is not aggressive, but silky smooth. A laid back touring car. Car needed a good cleaning in and out. Just completed clay bar, polish and wax with marine grade paste wax. Clean and waterproofed the top with 303. Will have a new set of Pirellis going on when I'm ready. I have about $12k into it at present and that should do it. I think it's true that the older cars were better made and with less gizmos to go wrong. Think it's a good value with many miles ahead of me.
