For the last 30yrs, I have always dreamed of owning a Supra, especially the legendary 2jz, 6 speed twin turbo, but as time moves forward and technology evolves, exponentially, never in a vacuum, we arrive to the present. Even though it’s a joint venture between BMW and Toyota, the car is AMAZING. The Supra is very nimble and fast, and it has tons of potential for all the gear heads and track fanatics of the world. Toyota/BMW could have put any engine/transmission combination into this venture, but they put one of the best engine and transmission combo possible. There are some things, they have improved or added during its 4yr run…but it is what it is. Love it or hate it, the car is overall great design and the visual aesthetics are beautiful. Could have made the interior a tad roomier and added a center console with storage. Having 2 legendary auto companies working forwards new cars or ideas, is not a loss. Would I’ve loved for it to be an all Toyota product?, of course!! Overall, it’s a great car.

I cannot recommend Eddie Aguilar at California Motors Direct enough! If you want a salesperson who is terrifically professional and truly on your side, this is the guy. We drove through two counties and fought a ton of traffic to make this deal happen, and Eddie was more than patient with our schedule. What really blew us away was that he and his manager stayed late just to ensure we left that night with the car we deserved. It felt like "NO" wasn't even in his work vocabulary—he ground out the details and made the numbers work perfectly for both the lender and me. Naturally, I love my car especially for its handling. It won’t beat a corvette or a lot of other muscle cars for acceleration ; after all it’s only 200 hp. But it is a nice vehicle nonetheless and for my needs has plenty of power.

I like mine. As has been stated on other sites, the only drawbacks are low power from the engine (by design) and the super small backseats (also by design). As long as you're not looking for a full size car or a racer then this car will suit you well. Sporty and handles well. That's what it is designed for, it is one of the most stable sports cars outside of getting into higher range vehicles.

SUPRA is back on the streets! This car makes great power, is really good looking. Will turn alot of heads. BMW makes great sports cars so Toyota made a good call putting the B58 in the car.Personally I prefer the car with a wing on the back really lives up to the Supra name.

The only Toyota car that adopted a BMW engine. One of a kind. I doubt Toyota will ever do another calibration with BMW again. The B58 feels underrated and you get plenty of MPG for a car with around 400HP if you're not driving it like you stole it.

reading some reviews here makes me laugh , saying is not a real supra , that is a BMW and all that jazz , more likely they don't own one or cant afford it and they were baby when the supra came out back then any ways , I take my to Toyota when needed , they have 1 mechanic that can work on it, no problems with this car , stop living in the past and get a grip of the future , SUPRA is back if you don't like the car get a Honda Fit or what ever you like and move on , great car , super fun , turn heads all the time and yes people recognize it and if its a BMW then so be it still an awesome car for the money !

This is a really great little sportscar. I rarely see another one on the road, so it tends to turn heads. Very responsive. I recently took it on a road trip and the seats comfortably hugged my body. It's worth consideration in the mid-to-high $20s price range. Excellent value.
