My service advisor was Michael “Ace” Acevedo. Mr. Acevedo was an Ace. I’ll list a few things about him that I noticed. Very personable., honest., went above and beyond customer service. An example: I brought my dog with me. When I was getting my loaner vehicle from the loan officer, Mr. Acevedo retrieved my insurance card, blankets that I have in my car for my dog to sit on, and the vehicle harness that my dog attaches to that goes into the seat seatbelt buckle. Then on top of all of that, when I went to get into my loaner vehicle, Mr. Acevedo held my dog’s leash so that I could put the blankets and the harness attachment in the loaner vehicle. He is a great guy and kept me informed of the progress of my vehicle throughout the day. Highly recommend you see Michael for your vehicles needs.

This is best Prius I have owned. The safety features allow me to be a better driver. The furl economy is amazing - 58 mpg on the last tank of gas with in town driving!

This is my second Prius. I am bullish on Toyota autos. The stereo system is awesome. I purchased this vehicle to obtain great fuel mileage. This model year's Prius generates better fuel economy than the 2007 model I previously owned. The safety features prevent accidents due to unavoidable blind spots when viewing oncoming traffic thru the side-view mirrors. Pitfalls: less rear trunk storage space than the 2007 model. The center console box has less volume. I demanded a donut spare tire when I purchased this model. Not all models have donut spare tires. I do not think this is a auto to have in a cold climate state - - yearly issue of snow/ice and below freezing temps.

The first time I bought a car (not from CarMax) it was a terrible experience and I was stuck with a hunk of junk that was worth far less than what I owed. CarMax made me an amazing offer for it, and helped me pick a the SUV of my dreams that was within my means! Affordable, beautiful quality, it looks and smells BRAND NEW - no one would ever suspect it was used!! The buying process was so simple and quick. Bought a used 2021 as I was getting bored of driving a Toyota minivan for work after a lot of research. I got the SE with auto. It’s small fun and surprisingly comfortable. I needed a compromise between comfort reliability efficiency and performance and this was it. Not the fastest to 60 but power available with no hesitation. 10 air bags and safety features are welcome as well.

I was contact Mr Jake Henshaw in the Raleigh N.C. store who was very professional and provided me with the best car buying experience that I?ve ever had. After identifying what I was looking for in a car he was able to provide me with several option which helped with my selection. I recently traded in a 2013 Toyota Prius C for this car, a 2025 Prius LE AWD in guardian grey. I loved my old car so I was interested in sticking with the prius and I'm glad I did. They've upgraded this car in so many ways and it is truly fun to drive now. Pros: -Upgraded engine. This engine has more than double the power of the old engines and it makes a huge difference without hurting the fuel economy at all. It makes this car super fun to drive and it handles very well. -Improved styling. These cars don't look anything like the old priuses. They look so much sportier and overall better. I also really liked most of the color options they had. -Value and reliability. The new priuses provide better power combined with the same great fuel economy that prius has become known for. I regularly get 60 mpg. They also aren't very expensive comparatively. I also know that as long as I take care of it I will likely get at least 12 years out of this car like I did with my last prius. Cons: -Not a lot of headroom. Technically speaking, this car has comparable headroom with it's main competitor, the Honda Civic Hybrid, but with the design of the car (long and low) it feels like less. This isn't an issue for me but I can see how it would be an issue for others. -Decreased visibility. Again, because the car is long and low, the windows have slightly decreased visibility compared to earlier generations of this car. I think the safety features in this car more than make up for it so I don't really have an issue with it. -Cheaper materials. The plastic pieces in the interior of the car feel a little bit cheaper and flimsier than they did in my old prius. It's not enough to be a huge issue and the interior is well designed so I don't really notice it but there is a difference. However this is something I noticed in all of the cars that I tested so it's not limited to this model or brand. Overall, this is a great car and I'm very happy with it!

Straightforward easy experience! A pleasure to work with. The team was not pushy and very reasonable and respective. Quick and effortless process.

Great drivability! Great room! Unfortunately, not confident in expertise at service center for plug in hybrid issues. No one has seen enough issues to understand how they can malfunction... they are totally dependent on computer codes and what the manual says.... haven’t really studied the tecnology and engineering enough to be able to anticipate and or respond to technical questions and circumstances.... sales people are completely oblivious to the technology!!! Cannot answer simple engineering questions about car! Service department seems only modestly more experienced, and have no passion or desire to really know or understand.... so their ability to inform and guide the customer is basically non existent. They call “ experts” elsewhere in the country... don’t appear to care to become experts themselves. This means that the customer has little to no confidence that their car is actually going to be fixed properly because they are completely reliant on manual and mechanics located elsewhere to solve issues.... fully expect that any upcoming repairs will be “ out of the box” repairs.... computer says that EGR valve is malfunctioning, so it needs a new one! When all it needs is a vacuum hose reconnected.... or something down these lines. This is really bad that the customer will need to understand their own car better than dealership mechanics, and will mean that extremely expensive parts will be seen as the solution to “ fixing” the oroblem...eg, I won’t be surprised if we own the vehicle for 10 plus years, that a new computer control module will be found to be needed because the code said it was malfunctioning.... when a small gasket waterproofing the compartment has failed and causes it to work improperly when it wet outside... The customer is left feeling uncared about, or cared for... and that Toyota hires fundamentally unprofessional or lazy service mechanics, and dont properly expect expertise or mastery about their products...

Excellent customer service! Worked with K.C. helped us look at and test drive over seven cars, ordered and transferred two and returned one. He was patient with us and made sure that we got exactly the car that we wanted!

As described and amazing car. Would be nice that it would have a small spare tire of sort but still an amazing vehicle and safety as 1st priority.

Having purchased only new vehicles my entire life, I found myself in need of buying my girlfriend a certified used vehicle from a local Honda dealership. After the salesman ignored our desires and instead try to upsell us, however, we decided to try Carmax instead. From the start, Carmax offered a helpful hand online and friendly service over the phone: they were quickly able to find what we needed and provide attractive financing in a flash. (Thanks to you, Lesly.) Moreover, I found scheduling of a meeting to finish the deal at the dealership efficient. Once at the dealership, Haseam did well in helping us -- his knowledge and friendliness were impressive, especially since I havevworked in the service industry for many years . Because he did not try to upsell us, but rather did his best to educate us on what would work well, (coming in on his day-off to finalize the deal), I must commend Carmax and its associates for providing a memorable experience. Also, I was thankful that Dashau helped expedite the process when we completed the paperwork; what a breeze! Finally, I know I will come in buy my own used car in the future when my Honda Fit finally gives out. Thanks again, Carmax!

This car saved me today from a car accident. I fell asleep behind the wheel and the alarm system woke me up when I got too close to the car in front of me. I had just enough time to break. This system can save a life. I am so thankful for who designed this car. Fabulous work. Very reliable, elegant, fun to drive.

Haven't had the car very long, but love it. I like the exterior styling and the interior dash and radio display are nice, just keep in mind it's 4 years old so not as fancy as a brand new car - but pretty good sized touch screen. Engine has more power than I thought it would. With 3 adults, I got up to 60mph within the on-ramp for the highway and merged without issue.

Went looking for a specific vehicle that they had. Was told before I even saw it what was wrong with it. Wasn't expecting that from a used car salesman. I didn't buy the car but will not hesitate to use them in the future

I have a 2021 Prius AWD with 233,000 km. Not one issue. Starts even at -40 degrees and everything works as it should. No rattles or lose pieces. Just a solid car. I have driven through muddy roads and a foot of snow and the front air dam xxxxxxsnow and keeps going. Who needs an SUV when you’re driving one of these.

I have loved my Prius C. I have never had one complaint. Zero problems. Zero headaches. Comfortable, convenient, reliable. Every time. Not only that, but you cannot BEAT the fuel costs!

The Prius is comfortable and had a surprising amount of room for others. We like the fuel economy as well. It also has a bit more power than I thought a hybrid would have.

It's a fantastic vehicle, both inside and out. I get about 30-50 electric miles depending on whether I do freeway or side-street driving, what the outdoor temperature is, if I have AC on, etc. I get 50-60 mpg when the engine turns on. It gets to freeway speeds really fast in sport mode, but I normally stay on eco/normal mode - normal mode has more than enough power for my needs. Interior features lack the extra toys from the XSE and Premium trims, but I can live without them. Trunk space is adequate with the folding cover attached and only slightly better without it due to the sloped rear exterior. But I've never had a problem with trunk space since folding down the seats grants more than enough room for my needs. Cabin space is decent. No one in my family and friend group is over 182 cm tall so all of them can fit with ample head and leg room. I have no complaints with the handling, even at higher speeds. It's smooth, but outside noise does get a bit loud especially when the engine turns on. Charging is a tad over nine hours if using a standard 110v/120v L1 charger, and half that with a 220v/240v L2 charger. The Prius Prime is not built to handle DC charging, so don't bother with that. EV mode is good for up to 55 mph or so, and HV mode is good for speeds beyond that. The sweet spot speed for HV mode seems to be around 65-72 mph. Beyond that and efficiency takes a nosedive. The Prius Prime, or any plug-in hybrid (PHEV), isn't for everyone. It's the best of both worlds, but it's also the worst of both worlds. During EV mode, a PHEV is a less efficient battery electric vehicle (BEV) since it's carrying a heavy internal combustion engine (ICE) that isn't being used, along with all the other ICE components. It also has all the maintenance requirements of the standard HEV variant, unlike a true BEV. When the battery is depleted, a PHEV is a worse hybrid since it's carrying a big battery that isn't being used. Despite a PHEV's versatility between gasoline and electric usage, it isn't for everyone. It can run on gasoline only without ever charging the battery, but then you lose all the benefits of EV driving. You paid extra for the EV experience, so you might as well charge the battery. Final thoughts: the Prius Prime is a very good car, but only If you can charge at home. If not, then get the standard Prius since that one is an even more efficient hybrid.

Ken was super easy to work with. Responsive and helpful. We got a 2009 Kia Borrego with 62,000 miles in good shape at a great price. He also gave us a fair price on our trade-in. All in all a great experience.

We love the prius after owning a 2007 model. The 2015 is a step up and we got it at a good price for low mileage to hold us until plug-in mile range improves.

I have a 2013 Prius. It has 129k on it. This is by far the most reliable & efficient vehicle. I had only had to change the oil & that is it. It regularly gets approximately 55/60 MPG. I absolutely love this vehicle & would not hesitate to get another Prius.

I bought a used Ridgeline from Mark Jacobson Toyota (Pre-owned) in Durham. There was a small problem with a crack in the molding in a rear wheel well. I bought the car with the understanding that they would fix it and had it noted on the paperwork. Long story short, there was a significant underlying issue with the bumper hidden from view. Evidently it had a small dent that meant the new molding would not have fit perfectly. They could have slapped the new molding on it and called it a day but they said "they wanted to do it right" and sent it off to the body shop to get a complete bumper replacement per the Honda Dealerships recommendation. Ramzi (car salesman) kept me in the loop the entire time. I never had to chase anyone for them to honor the agreement. Picked the car up today and it looks brand new. Rare to find honorable people in the car business. If you need a used car, give Ramzi a call.

A few years back I had a Suburban and hated coming upon hybrids. When the time came for a new car I first was thinking Corolla since it was my first new car decades ago. Then I figured why not a Prius? I have the XLE model that has most anything you could want in a new car. I usually only go 5mph over speed limits but I'm always passing all the cars when going uphill. I get looks from other drivers I pass wondering why I'm passing them in a Prius. Great handling too and so far I've taken it up to 114mph. I could've kept going but there was traffic ahead so it'll wait for another stretch of road. If I ever buy a Ferrari, I'll get a license plate frame that says, "My other car is a Prius"!
