Traded our 2025 Toyota Hylander Hybrid awd because the seats were so uncomfortable and was told there was nothing they could do about it for a 2023 Sienna. We were looking for a road trip vehicle when we bought the Hylander but both Toyotas Got great gas mileage 36 mpg drove good but the seats were uncomfortable and a little hard to get in and out of because the roof line has been lowered. Didn’t have the room inside as our grand Caravan and you couldn’t remove the second row seats they wouldn’t even lay down flat just lean forward. Was a bigger car outside than we wanted but not as roomy inside. After 9k miles we traded it. Would be a good car for someone

If you are looking for a vehicle that gets good gas mileage and long range then the Toyota Hybrid is for you. On the open road you can get over 35 miles to the gallon and go slightly over 500 miles on a tank of gas.

We have the 2025 XSE AWD without leather seats. It is very comfortable to drive and ride in, has lots of power, and has many safety features. With the 3 traction (not plug in) hybrid motors we have averaged over 33 mpg (reviews claim 35/36) with combined driving using regular unleaded gas. Only downside is there is no spare tire, but instead an inflation kit.

My Sienna XLE is a 2018 Braunability handicap van with the 285 hp V6. I bought it new, it has 40k miles. I’ve serviced by the book, replaced battery this year, put one set of tires on it, and have driven it like I stole it. It’s never missed a beat, is comfortable, durable, dependable, averages 19 mpg on short runs of 15-25 miles. To my dismay, Toyota Sienna’s are only available after 2020 with the 245 ho 4 cylinder hybrid. I may be forced to buy a 4 cylinder Sienna, but I sure don’t want to. Don’t like the looks of the Honda, Pacifica, or others.🥴🥲

Great mileage n planning on Toyota long term reliability. Plenty of power, even for light towing. Very spacious inside. AWD with electric motor is clever n works well. Suspension is great (rough roads feel smooth). But some negatives. We have LE n jumping to next trim levels is expensive unlike Kia. Folding seats are not nearly as smooth as with Chrysler. Also, our old Chrysler van drives like a smooth car but Sienna steers more like a van/truck...not bad per se, but different.

I owned a 2014 sienna limited premium and was the best vehicle I have ever owned in my 50 years of driving, owning 16 different cars, Suvs and Vans. I purchased a 2017 Toyota Sienna Limited Premium AWD and I like it but I don't like the way it shifts, its very jerky. I did get a computer engine software update that helped very much. The engine having 40 more horse power would make me think that it would have tremendous power compaired to my 2014, but it did not. So it purchased a what call (chip your car) that connects under the dash to get more refindment in the performace, to unleash the filtered performance and it did. What a difference in performance. I purchaced the chip for 150.00 and its worth every penny. I am a performance guy especially when driving a nice van. So with the Toyota Software upgrade and my computer chip upgrade now we have a nice performace running van which my 2014 had also.

I love the car but why oh why would you not put a key operated cargo opening! This Back hatch is so heavy! I didn’t even look at the lack of that feature when I bought the car. One would assume it would be there at this price point.

I have purchased several cars in my lifetime. My experience with BMW of Salem was fantastic. I was initially contacted via email by Ryan when I inquired about a used vehicle for sale. The follow up was appreciated and setting an appointment to test drive the vehicle. When we arrived to the dealership the car was parked out front and ready for us....no usual waiting for this or that. Ames took us out on the first test drive and was very pleasant. I worked with Ryan, Ames, TJ and Keith and they were exceptionally great communicators, kind, and professional. Which we appreciate. After our initial test drive with Ames we made a verbal offer then wanted to take a 2nd test drive. They made sure we had everything we needed to make our purchasing decision. TJ made sure our numbers were correct, explaining the difficulties and limitations of our purchase since we were WA residents and they could not register the car for us. Ryan made sure we were gassed up, cleaned up, keys ready as soon as our paperwork was completed. Their pricing was fair and they worked within our budget and constraints being from Washington. Our 2nd Sienna and definitely the best. Other than some cheap plastic interior finishes, this is probably the best vehicle we've ever owned. Incredible reliability, excellent interior space and comfort and amazing fuel economy. Without even trying we get 33-35 mpg. When we actually try, we an easily achieve 43-44 mpg. The Air conditioning is amazing in this car, we live in AZ and it cools it down very quickly. A lot of people complain about the lack of power and loud engine, if you're not trying to race everyone around you, the Sienna performs very well. As an example, the Honda Odyssey is supposed to be the fastest and considered a performance beast but from 0-60mph it only surpassed the Sienna by less than 1 second. (6.7 seconds v 7.4 seconds). Some might say that's noticeable but let's face it, it's a minivan. This is an outstanding vehicle and I highly recommend it!

I test drove this van after having three other Toyota siennas that all performed very well. What I don’t like about this van is the center consul takes up too much room. The third row side windows do not open and since I sleep in my van, sometimes on a bed in the back, with my head near those windows, I can’t get as much fresh air as I did with all the other Sienna’s I had. The second row seats are supposed to not be able to be taken out, but I found a YouTube video that shows that you can take them out . I know it gets great gas mileage.

All good except too small of an engine for the size and weight of the minivan the v6 engine in my older minivan a better match for this size of automobile.

I have been driving my new Sienna LE for a year now. I have a long commute to work so I have been happy with the gas mileage especially since gas is well over $4.50 a gallon. The ride is comfortable though I do wish the driver seat had more functions. The only real issue I have had with the van is the braking glitch when slowing down. The van kind of slides when the brake is hit. This does not happen all the time. But the first time it happened it felt scary. I will bring that up next time I take the van for service. Other than that I have had good customer service at the Toyota dealership. I am sorry I do not have the automatic button for the rear door, it is very heavy and when you have your hands full it is hard to pull the door down. I previously had a Ford van and the door was not heavy at all. I do like the Sienna a lot though.

I have bought several vehicles from them. I am a buyer who has researched trade in values and financing options and who comes in with specific demands. I demand to be given a specific amount for my trade in, I demand a specific monthly payment. When they come to me with lower trade in value and higher payment I simply say no. They continue to work with me and eventually acquiese to my demands. They are easy to work with where other dealers don’t like my approach. I can’t see me using any other dealer.

I have driven Honda Odysseys for the last 18 years. This Sienna won me over and I switched. Love the smooth ride, ability for the 2nd row seats to be moved back creating an abundance of leg room. Some serious cons is the vehicle speeds up when in cruise and you put on your left blinker. Changing lanes usually slows car when you get behind someone else, however, recently I had to break quickly because the Siena did not recognize the car in front of me for some reason. Could have caused a crash. When breaking and you release the break pedal sometimes the car propels forward. This almost caused an accident. I had to break quickly again. My passenger got scared as she felt the car accelerate quickly. These are safety issues that need to be addressed. The 2nd row seats are not removable and do not fold flat-they slide up against the front row which reduces on the flexibility for cargo. The console design between drivers seat is useless, especially the open "shelf" below. Overall the van is nice but the uncontrolled self propelling has to be fixed

Only draw Mack is sloewer acceleration with noise. Wind noise from rear doors and the fact that the speedometer is unreadable in bright daylight due to extremely dim and cannot be raised. Dealer says many complaints of this.
