I have loved and owned Chevy and GMC midsized trucks since 98 when I purchased a used S-10. My latest purchase is a 2021 GMC Canyon Denali bought brand new. It's been a great truck until my power steering unit went out due to corrosion. It only has 32,200 miles on it and I have never gotten it wet other than car washes and driving in the rain which is normal conditions. I had purchased a mid grade extended warranty through GMC after my lease was up and purchased the truck. I am being told this is NOT covered due to it being external wiring. So I feel this is a manufacturing malfunction and bad engineering for water to be able to get in to cause such corrosion so beware. This is an open case filed with GM currently to hopefully rectify the matter.

Great quad cab truck rides smooth extra quiet cab powerful diesel engine Duramax something Toyota does not offer. the truck is spacious designed well and seems well built.

GMC Diesel Canyon AT4. I've had this truck for a year-11,000 miles. I love it. The Denali and Elevation trim looked like junk. The AT4 can't compete with the Tacoma off road but, It holds it's own off road. The Diesel pulls like a beast and the exhuast brake, on all the moutain passes I drive, is worth it's wieght in Gold. I trailer the max. capacity regularly and it's smooth sailing. I traded in my 2500HD Silverado with the vortec 6.0 for this big, little truck. Best decision I've made in a while. I had this truck on order for 8 months and Gm never accepted the order. I finally found exactly what I ordered, just off the truck that morning that I called. 1300 miles away, I jumped on a plane to go get it. Crying shame GMC discontinued the diesel. The extra $ per gallon right now is easily washed by the increase in mileage, 32+ higway, 19 trallering almost 8000 #'s. I wouldn't want the truck without it. Wouldn't want the Elevation or Denali. Diesel AT4 is the truck. I'll keep it the rest of my life barring accident. I'm sure I can get 40 years out of this truck doing 10-12k a year. The regeneration of the exhaust has never come up but, I only do a little round town driving. Most of my miles are highway and hauling a load. I've heard horror stories about regen. from city folk, commuters... You get what you aim for. If you've given it a lot of thought and the diesel AT4 seems right for you, you won't be disappointed. Good luck finding one. GM - You've a winner here. don't let it get away. Ps. Cars.com doesn't have a choice of how I use this truck for WORK. I had my car service at Hughe white Honda at georgesville auto mall and Steve is my Communication which was excellent his hospitality was great. He worked with me on a price deal and they’re honest there and they don’t work off Commission in the service department. Which I’ll be back and highly recommend this place to get your car serviced! Bought this 2016 GMC Canyon (4cyl) at car max in 2017 . It was part of a commercial fleet and was well taken care of and low mileage . I’ve only have had one problem and that was in the engine cooling system where I had to replace two hoses and a goose neck . While repairing that I noticed an oil leak around the valve cover so I replaced the gasket . It was under warranty still ( just happened in Jan 2024 ) . I could have repaired it myself but who wants to get all dirty when it can be repaired by GMC at little or no cost to me. It still has 6 months remaining on warranty ( I did purchase from CarMax) hoping it does not need any further repairs . It is 8 years old and according to its records this is the first repair other than natural repair items that had ever been needed . It rides well pulls my utility trailer fully loaded just fine . I also have a 2000 Ranger that I had to replace the tranny on when it was just a few years old . It has never needed any other work. I believe the GMC will last me for years to come . But you never know so I will be buying another after market warranty on it when the time comes . I’ve already added that to a 2015 vehicle I own who’s warranty had expired . I’m a old school mechanic I can repair olde vehicles easily ( compared to todays ) I’m also a former Turbo Prop Mechanic from the Air Force and worked those motors for almost 29 years . I had worked on Piston Air Craft Motors for a few years before the change . A lot like a car piston motor in many ways . Two kinds of piston motors on Air Craft . Line a cars block or a receptacating motor( Round) . Very easy to trouble shoot vs Turbo Prop. Just letting you know that I have experience as a mechanic and know a real problem vehicle when I see one . Would buy a GMC canyon again or maybe go larger due to my new 42 foot long Camper I have rec bought .

Missing a few things that could really make it better. Homelink for garage door isn’t offered? Doesn’t come with a receiver type hitch however what does comes with it is almost the same amount of steel. The phone charger doesn’t work quite right and they know it.

First, I do have to say that Jordan is a pleasant, respectful, "upcoming" used car salesperson. With his outgoing, friendly, respectful demeanor, he likely could have sold me just about anything. On President's Day, my husband and I drove about 45 minutes, intending to test drive a specific Wrangler at the Used Car division. The test drive went well with us both falling in love with the vehicle. The negotiations went fairly quickly, despite me having no access to my bank to move around $$$$$ and my trade vehicle not being present. There was give and take on both sides- mostly give on mine, LOL. We arrived at an amicable deal on the price, trade, service contract and promise to fix the heated steering wheel. Ziggy, the finance manager, was pleasant and efficient. We waited an inordinate amount of time for the title work on my trade to be done. On Wednesday as planned, we returned, with my trade and a check in hand. Apparently Jordan forgot that we were coming as we waited over an hour for the vehicle to be "cleaned and readied for delivery." The dealership was not busy at all that day, with staff congregated around the main desk, laughing and joking. Any other time that I have purchased a vehicle, it has been serviced, cleaned, washed and waiting near the dealership entrance. When Jordan finally handed me the key, confirmed that there was no spare key and informed us that the steering wheel parts were on back order (and could take up to 30 days to arrive,) he bid us good bye and good luck. I asked, "so that's all? Is there anything to sign?" Both Jordan and the Finance Manager assured us we were good to go. Everyone had a good laugh when I asked them if they wanted the $27,400 check. Maybe the laugh will be on me if the documentation I have does not show that they received the check. I have to say that the experience was mostly positive. I only wish that the staff had been more prepared for us to take delivery. Jordan did get some points back when he filled the fuel tank before we left. Time will tell about the steering wheel issue.

Great mid-sized truck! Far superior to offerings from Nissan and Toyota - both of which ride like trucks. The Ridgeline rides like an SUV. Quiet, predictable and dependable. The Honda Safety Sensing system is a tad of a nuisance but you get accustomed to ignoring it. Surprised that Honda doesn’t do a better job. Infotainment system is overly complicated. Fuel economy is acceptable. Power is acceptable.

Excellent people extremely fast no issues. No pushy sales people if I am browsing. Recommend

ROUSH tuned FOX 2.0 suspension levels the ride. It handles the street and off-road extremely well. This is the ultimate version of the Ford Ranger.

I bought this truck new 8 years ago (and 77k miles). I use this truck for truck things like towing a 5,200lb trailer @8 times a year. The V6 has plenty of power and gets good mileage (22 mpg combined, 29 highway empty, 15 pulling the trailer). Reliability has been outstanding. The transmission needs a full flush about every 40k to keep it shifting smoothly. Other than that this truck has been without issue.

Ive owned my 2019 Z71 Colorado for 4 years and 120,000 miles. Outside of basic wear and tear its been a great truck. I am hoping to get 300k out of it. I have heard that it gets transmission shutter. I do occasional get what feels like late shifts or delay in shifts but its never been persistent. Best change ive made is bigger tires. The stocks 255/r17/65 look too small and goofy for this truck.

The service personnel are great. Car always serviced on time and the service crew are very helpful Highly recommend them. Five plus stars.

I have a gas ZR2 in blue, and it is my dream truck. The build quality is so good on these! The doors shut with a solid thud, the intuitiveness of the interior...it was the best truck available in 2022. I got mine before the '23 models and I am so very glad I did. I looked at all available mid-sized trucks, Jeeps, Tacos, Nissan, etc...none felt as solid as the ZR2. Almost two years now, and coming up on 25k. Oil changes and had the tires balanced, did all of the fluids at 5k. You have to allow for Chevy Quirkiness, and you'll love it. The A/C can be weird.

When I initially pulled up at the dealership, they had so many options to choose from. Walking into the front door you were greeted by the receptionist right away, who took down my information and got me over to a sales person immediately Kayla was so helpful. she immediately pulled up the vehicle that I was interested in got pulled up for me to do a test drive after the test drive we kind of went in a different direction for more space with a vehicle she was able to pull up the equinox that they had on the lot. Immediately went through the ones that they had kind of gave her information about how much we were trying to put down and what we wanted the monthly payments to be and we went ahead with the 2022Chevy Equinox. She immediately pulled the car up for us to do a test drive when we got back from the test drive. We did let her know that it was the vehicle that might fit our family. She immediately went over the Carfax report with us and was so helpful with getting things to the finance department and getting us approved for the vehicle. Kayla’s customer service. I will give her a 10 out of 10 it was the best experience with searching for a new vehicle that I’ve had in a long time.

This truck is a perfect size to easily park and it allows me to get all the ranch supplies I need. I can easily take my grand children to school or run errands.

My 17 Colorado has 50,900 miles on it and it needs a new Differential in installed. Just normal driving. I think it should have lasted should last much longer.

The Ridgeline is a super practical vehicle. I have the E so I love the storage in the bed area as well as as full electric. at 80,000 miles, I started having an issue with the stereo system with a crack rolling and popping first it would go away while driving. I’d have to stop the vehicle turn it off and then restart it and the radio would start playing.

Justin, sales associate at Germain Kia in Columbus, listened to my wish list and found the car that I wanted. I did not feel stressed during negotiations and appreciated the easy going and friendly atmosphere of the dealership.

I bought a 2020 WT Crew Cab with power amenities and chrome/color bumpers and upgraded to leather seats for $24,000. It has been a great truck. I regularly get 24-28 mpg with the V6 (simply by watching acceleration). It does everything I want; towing/hauling and just general running about. Love the Apple CarPlay. This is the best value truck that I have owned. Solidly reliable. No complaints.

I was originally searching for an SUV. Trading in my high mileage Toyota Camry with way too much road noise, I was looking for the same reliability and an engine with the same "get up and go". I was attracted to the low percentage financing on both Toyota and Honda trucks, I am retired and now I can leave my funds in my IRA and pay a low interest rate and continue to gain in my investments, and not pay the income tax on a one time withdrawal. I love the quiet ride of the Ridgeline. The Honda is easier for me to get into. It is more like getting into an SUV than the Toyota Tacoma. The V6 engine gives me the ability to get around slow moving vehicles safely on two lane roads. I love the ride of my Ridgeline which is more like an SUV because it is on a car chassis not a truck chassis, but I can haul larger items than an SUV. I was also attracted to the Ridgeline because it is already set up to pull my small trailer for my ATV. I love the swing out tailgate for reaching into the back. The roomy trunk in the bottom of the truck bed is amazing, and holds so many misc items and groceries. My Honda Ridgeline will be so much help when I need to take my daughters wheel chair on trips. I have not tested out the All Wheel Drive, but I am looking forward to it's assistance in the Sand Dunes. I have put almost 2000 miles since my purchase a month ago. I Love my Honda Ridgeline

I leased my Ridgeline in January 2017 and bought it out of its lease at the end of 2019. I love that it's quiet, smooth, and drives more like a car or luxury SUV than a truck. The interior is sleek and I really like the in-bed trunk. I drive mostly highway miles and get ~24 mpg. It's closer to 25+ in the summer and 22 in the winter. It always shifted strangely and in 2021 (at 140,000 miles), it seized up and I brought it in for a diagnosis. They said my catalytic converters were fried, which was a $5,000 fix. Earlier that year, it had some fuel injector issues that were covered by recall. Asking the mechanic, he thought the fuel injector issue may have caused the catalytic converter damage. The next summer (at 180,000 miles), the same seize-up issue happened, so we replaced the transmission, which has fixed the issue. It shifts better now than it ever has. Luckily, my dealer was good to work with and did it at cost. I have only towed on two or three occasions, so I was surprised by the transmission issues. Overall, I have been satisfied with the vehicle and would buy another Ridgeline. It's big enough to tow the few small things I need to, the interior is comfortable and quiet, smooth driving, and I have been able to achieve the posted fuel economy (18/25).

Strong little truck, great off road, and great gas mileage. Superior towing compared to my 2019 Taco. If you need a mid size truck that is actually a truck the Ranger will be great for you.

The service tech was helpful at managing an unexpected repair. Received a great deal on new tires also. They were doing buy three get one for $1

Have owned it for about one year the only thing I have done is change the oil and filter and put some air in the tires when the weather got colder. Have liked everything about it so far.
