Here is a review of my start to finish process of buying a car from Gateway Classic Cars, Ft. Lauderdale: ----- 1. The sales people who you work with are not on site. They're working remote so they don't have eyes on the car. ---- So, 2. You'll want to be connected with someone on site who can start and drive the car, provide a walkaround video, pictures of whatever you want and give their input. I worked with Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location for my purchase and he was outstanding with helping me to know the car before making an offer. He is the reason that this is a 5 star review. -------- 3. Hauling: They'll get you a quote for hauling the vehicle. I chose Nexus Transport myself to use. They were a bit cheaper and top rated by Forbes. That went just fine. --------- 4. These cars are all on consignment. So, I feel that you have to be a little more careful because you have another party who may not have disclosed things to Gateway. Best practice is to get a pre-buy done from someone like Lemon Squad. That being said, I was so comfortable with my deal, took the risk and waived the pre-buy. And in my case, the Prowler is a mint gem and I have no concerns after receiving it. Also, there is a common thought then you buy a car like this, you should budget 10% or so of the price for maintenance right after you get the car because stuff always comes up, otherwise, don't buy a used car. --------5. Since they're on consignment, they have commissions they charge the seller. As a buyer, I don't care if I see a commissions line on the purchase agreement. As long as my out the door number was what I offered, that's fine. --------6. I wired money to them and within a few hours, I had all the fully executed paperwork back in my hands. Title took about 3 weeks to receive by UPS. And the folder had everything I needed to register the car in my state. Wow! Thank you Barbara! ------ 7. So here is what breeds loyalty. Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location made sure the car was completely ready to be picked up including accessories that were bubble wrapped. The car was supposed to be picked up at Noon on Saturday, plenty of time before they closed at 5pm. He stayed until the truck arrived...very late....AT 1:30am Sunday morning!!!! (Otherwise, it would have sat until Tuesday). I cannot believe he did that for me. I received my car loading video at 2am. That's unbelievable service that deserves more than 5 stars. ------- Summary: I'd have zero issues with buying from Gateway again....they just operate in a different dealership style than what I'm used to, which is just fine.

They were super helpful, but never found what I was looking for. Gateway said they would kept looking for me.

I have a 2021 SEL. No problems thus far with 18,000 miles. The seats are the most comfy of any vehicle I’ve had. It has the fake leather ones. It’s all I need. I average 29 mpg but mostly drive in town.

Justin Fuller was my sales rep and my experience was incredible. Everything from the process to order a new car, the trade in value, financing, etc. was smooth and Justin kept me informed along the way. Would highly recommend to anyone in the market!

Good on gas and a comfortable ride. Drive it to West Virginia and back home no problem. I like it a lot definitely recommend it for people who travel for work and schoool

Am in disbelief every week at the Gas Pumps. Thou a big truck, mileage per gallons are 18 +. Last week it was 22.8. This week 19.78.

Overall everything went well. The requesting of the original owner for the vehicle keys was never done as I was never notified of a reply.

I bought my van new. It has 150k mikes and I have only had very minor issues with it. It has been a reliable source of transportation for me as I drive long distances several times a year. I particularly love the way the seats go into the floor. I have hauled so much stuff. I love my van.

I had a 1998 Viper RT/10 and I have now a 2001 Viper RT/10. I also had a 2016 C7 Corvette. I sold the corvette and kept the Viper. I enjoy driving the Viper more than I did diving the corvette. I love the looks of it and the raw power. I get a lot more attention driving the Viper than I ever did driving the Corvette. It is a very rare car on the road.

I got the 2022 Challenger, all black,black..shaker hood. It's Winter here in NORTH Michigan so had to tuck the Harley in till Spring. This car helps me when I'm Jonesing for my bike. She flies like an angel on crack and Roars like a hungry lion. I Absolutely LOVE her!! Thanx, guys. P.S. I'm pushin 70 and she helps me get that kick of youth I need once in a while. This SUV is solid in almost every way, but if I had to have any complaints I would say: *The design isn't really original, or even "Blazerish". Do I really care? No, but it's just kind of the reality that it doesn't look a lot different than the Equinox, Traverse, and many other vehicles by other manufacturers. Anyway just saying that they could have tried a little harder to have a signature defining figure to separate from everyone else. *The other complaint is that it doesn't have a CD player. Like who decided to save $100, and not put one in? Some Gen Z kid? Again, I see that a lot of cars are this way, but it's just being forced on us by this young crop of kids...At the very minimum take a survey to see who would elect to have one put in, or elect to have one not put in...people are just going with it

Driving this car makes you know what it's like to b a Rock Star!!! Everywhere you go people go wild for this car!!!

About a month ago I bought a 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 for just over $4000. The car had 145k on the odometer, but the seller had the papers to prove that the motor and transmission are freshly rebuilt with only 4k miles on the rebuild. Lucky me. I drove the car 2 and a half hours on ride home, and have daily driven it since. Comfort is not the greatest in these cars. The ride is stiff, and there is constant road noise, especially traveling down the highway. Performance wise, this car has it all. Straight line acceleration is stratospheric, and the brakes feel like they might rip your face off. All Wheel Drive and All Wheel Steering make the car handle very, very well. However, at night, the dim dashlights make it hard to see how fast you are going, and this car does attract alot of attention. Both good and bad. I will provide an update in a few months time.

7 Ford Edges and the 2024 is rock solid yet quiet and great performance. Everyone wants to use the Edge when we go anywhere. The controls are easy to use for non distracted driving. Long road trips are un eventful and tires last forever. Loading space in the rear is flat easy and lots of space. Good visibility and safe.

My experience at this dealership was mixed as they have very knowledgeable people selling their cars and I enjoy the quality of the vehicles! But, management for used cars was very adamant and discriminatory towards us. Please look into this as this is not an inclusive and welcoming environment for future customers. Thank you!

This is my first Subaru. So far I love it. We will be taking it on a 300+ mile trip this weekend and it will be the real test!

I've enjoyed this as my first original classic car that is completely drivable and usable. Extremely clean, this car has been kept out of the snow and weather and is in terrific shape. Lots of fun to drive and gets lots of looks.
