2016 Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid review
I like the Jetta Hybrid for its reliability, gas mileage, comfort and appearance. The heated seats provide great comfort for this old back. The navigation system is easy to follow, and with the included Sirius traffic feature helps me arrive easily at my destinations. I purchased the maintenance package at the time I took delivery and haven’t paid for anything additional after 40,000 miles and 3 3/4 years of ownership. I have found the car to be comfortable whether I’m bopping around town, or driving up the coast. It’s fun to watch the display to see whether the car is working off the electric motor, charging, or using the gasoline engine. I love the tight turning circle as well as the quick response and pep of the engine.

2016 Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid review
I bought the car new, and it ran like a dream. I drove it for over 70K miles, and it NEVER had a problem. It could take off like a shot, handled the road like a slot car, and NEVER paused when I needed it to do something. As I came up to a stop light, or found myself in stop and go traffic of a long commute, I could feel the regenerative braking system do its job. It took about three stops to get used to. It fit passengers and cargo comfortably for long trips and had a great infotainment system. Family vacations with grown teens were never an issue. Very easy to drive in the mountains and at the beach. And easy for my teens as young drivers to use, because of the safety features (including park assist, cross traffic warnings, and back up camera). In real-world driving, I averaged between 41 and 47MPG. Oddly, in the mountains, I would see 50+MPG. The car used electric (although a relatively short range) preferentially. I could take kids to school and return home and never hear the gas engine turn on. All charging was from the engine, coasting, or regenerative braking. It became almost sport to see how often I could compel the electric motor to be the power of choice. It NEVER ran the gas engine during stops or in drive through. It was like having a sports car in a little family sedan. Sadly, a young driver looking down at his phone did not see that everyone in front of him had to make an emergency stop. So, I'm writing about the best little car I now wish I could find again as a past tense car. It has gone to "that great salvage shop in the sky". In an FYI: all the passengers and myself were unharmed in my car that was sandwiched between the hapless driver who collided from behind and shoved us into the driver in front of us. From the outside, the car looked impressively scrunched at its crumple points, but on close examination, the passenger, battery, and engine compartments were well preserved. Very nice job, VW.

Preferred Autos LLC review
After wandering numerous lots aimlessly looking at unpriced cars with no information on them, test driving "clean" cars with grinding brakes and slipping transmissions, and being told by lying salesmen that cars with mismatched panels or cracked welds have never been in a wreck, we finally found a reputable dealer. Some excellent things about Preferred Auto that are hard to find elsewhere: 1) Cars are priced on the lot. You don't have to waste time explaining to a salesman what you are or are not looking for. 2) Window stickers are on all the cars! No waiting for a salesman to look up the mileage, features, etc. 3) The sales staff leaves you alone while you browse around, research cars, and narrow your list. 4) The sales process was quick and easy with zero pressure. 5) Six months later, we've found no issues with the vehicle. 6) They had no bad cars on the lot at all--every one of them seemed solid and reliable. 7) CarFax reports were available free of charge. 8) There are great Uzbeki, Jamaican, and Indian restaurants right down the road! I don't think any two of these things were true of any other dealership. Don't waste your time driving all over the city. Keep an eye on their site, or tell them what you're looking for and wait for their call.

All around great car. Limited trunk space for extended journeys. Love the way it handles the road, the comfort, the large GPS display and the exceptional sound system.
