This was the best experience I've had while buying a car. Tony greeted us at the door, gave us the keys, and said he'd be inside if we had questions or wanted to take it for a drive. No hovering. No making excuses about the condition of the car. No abrasive selling tactics. We were able to test drive the car by ourselves, which is nice because you can concentrate on the vehicle instead of listening to a sales pitch coming from the back seat. Financing was easy. And we got an extended warranty for under $2k. A previous dealer (Ford) wanted to charge us $5k for the same 3 year warranty ( the car had more miles, but not enough to justify a $3k difference. But the best thing was we didn't have to haggle. The car was $2k under Kelly Blue Book. Great experience. I'll definitely be buying from them again. Thanks Tony and Bryan

My first car and I love it! Got it almost a year ago with 76k miles. Now has about 82k. Only two previous owners. No problems whatsoever, minus just having to change some lightbulbs. Two friends have newer Passats ('12 and '13) and have had a bunch of issues! Love the seat warmers and sunroof. I have an aftermarket Bluetooth stereo, which makes drives even better. I live in a hilly, mountainous area and have never had any problems, despite being front wheel drive. A blast to drive, I always feel safe. "Below '05 and you'll never worry about the drive"!

Owned it just under a year before I bought a new vehicle. While owning this vehicle, I never had any major issues! Very comfortable drive. Affordable fueling price. Low maintenance. She’s looking for a new, loving owner for her next chapter.

2004. I am second owner. Nearing 200,000 kms. A great car. Fast, responsive and a delight to drive. Paint has held up very well. I have found VW dealerships costly for regular maintenance and servicing. Had timing belt changed at 150,000 and plan to replace the tranny fluid shortly. If the car is cared for and driven reasonably, it’s a gem.

We have owned a few of these Passats from the 2001 -2005 body style. If you take care of it and wash it during the winter these cars do not rust. Very comfortable interior and I love how it drives. I have the V6 engine and I been told by many that the engine is bulletproof, but you do have to follow the service schedule. Some repairs are expensive, but long term it's worth it. I have the 4 motion 2005 model and it handles beautifully in the winter. We also still have 2003 v6 GLX and it's running great. I plan on getting another 2005 GLX if I can find a low mileage one. They are reasonable pricewise and last forever.

Sheldon was available to help out with the workings of the car, as it is an older foreign make, and all of his efforts were greatly appreciated. Mechanics' dream. Undergraduate vehicle which I shall be required to replace due to age. Vehicle is in pristine mechanical status merely a few cosmetic bruises which would be trivial to repair.

Bought this from a used car place 7 years ago and it had no issues. I'm somewhat mechanically inclined so over the years I was able to fix things here and there. Asked a few friends for help on occasion. The past year I've changed a lot of parts but the car is almost 20 years old and 175k miles on it. Changing some parts are very tricky, but I've avoided the dealership or paying someone all this time. No rust on it either and I drive it in snowy weather every year. Turbo is so nice, nice and zippy vehicle.

This vehicle is 17 years old and only has 87,000 miles. It is dependabe and has plenty of power. The check engine light came on so I took it in to check the code and after holding my breath for the results I exhaled a sigh of relief learning it was a lose gas cap. So I disconnected the battery and let it clear out. No more problems to date. Watch the oil you put in it and the filters. Make sure it's Volkswagen compatible or it could sludge up, burn up your oil pump and soon after that your motor. But just make sure you take care of her and she will take care of you.

Plenty of legroom in front. Surprisingly large cargo area. Great car for errands and shopping as well as long road trips. Back seats fold flat. VERY clean. Versatile for transporting/hauling or going out for dinner.

Clean title, clean car, rarely drove the car, bought as second car and never really had time to drive it. Needs a new battery. Car starts up everytime with new battery.

This car is much fun, it has the power to get you up to speed when you need too. Plus if you like simple that’s what the car is, simple. The dual-clutch 6 speed automatic is pretty quick. The interior is simple it has everything you need like ventilated leather seats nice trim. It is all plastic but besides the point. Overall I use this car as a daily and it never lets me down

This is my 2nd great experience at Roseville Auto Sales. My first great experience was about 3 years ago. Todd also helped me last time, and I'd been in communication with Matt via email. However, I had just purchased a nice 2000 Ford Focus from there that had been on their lot for awhile, but I did the research beforehand so knew the history of the car etc, so knew what I was getting into. They're always laid back there, and you ask for keys for whatever car(s) you want to test drive, and you can take your time inspecting under hood, starting them, then test driving them. Once you make up your mind on a purchase, all the paperwork takes less than 30 minutes and you're out the door. Thank you Todd and Matt for a very pleasant experience, I'll be back again in a couple years. They did mention they've been open 29 years roughly and have sold over 29,000 cars, which I believe, they stay pretty busy and overall have a very good selection of cars, a lot have high miles but some have moderate miles and are very reasonable. I'm "VW guy in Richmond", I wrote a first review in August 2012. I had bought a used 2004 GLX in 2010, it was a one owner with 47K miles. Essentially this is a "poor man's Audi A4". It has leather, moonroof, alloys and power everything. I've now driven it 9 years and over 125,000 miles (current mileage is 172K). The car is still outstanding. Unlike my prior 2000 Passat wagon, I have not had nearly as many mechanical problems, probably because this car was built later in the production cycle (it was the next to last year of this style Passat). The exterior style is STILL very modern in comparison with new cars, it does not look 15 years old. The 190 HP V6 engine and 5 spd manual make the car fun to drive. Friends who drive it, who are used to driving average cars with auto transmissions, are amazed to rediscover the joy of driving (this happened during a 1400 mile move from VA to Texas). During a 15 month period in 2017 to 2018 the only expense I had on the car was a set of tires. I'd love to find another lower mileage Passat of this vintage similarly equipped.

Low mileage, leather seat, runs great... Great for family or couple or singles(more room for you). Very low mileage of 128,047 plus these VW Passat runs forever. Fully loaded with Heat, AC, Heated Seat, etc. Call for more info

Has plenty of leg room, comfort card. 0-60 in just 2.6 seconds! Nice car, smooth car. I currently own this car i had it over a year. Love this car!
