This car has plenty of leg room and height. Very nice ride, quiet and great on gas, fuel tank has 550 miles per tank!! Great MPG at average of 22-26

This vehicle is amazing. It is sturdily built, and it is comfortable, strong, fast, and great looking. The price for this car compared to a Porsche Cayenne makes it an incredible value. So much so that this is the last Touareg in the US market so that it wouldn't compete against their Atlas versions.

My wife and I were in the market to purchase my son a pre-owned jeep, and we wanted something that was already fixed up so we found TCD. They had a great selection to choose from. Once we arrived at the dealership you could tell that this was going to be different than any other car buying experience we've had. Jack was first to introduce himself. He was not a fast-talking silver tongue devil like a "like i probably was" stereotypical car salesman that you might be used to. He was a quiet young man that spoke at the right time and when it was necessary. He listens to our wants and needs and never asked us to remind him over and over! It was a subtle character quality that he possessed, and I didn't think too much about it while we were there, but it was a refreshing quality Jack was very knowledge about the vehicle as well. The vehicle we were interested in was a new trade in, so it wasn't quite ready, so I tell you this to say the way the dealership as a whole jumped in to help get the vehicle sales floor ready, was awesome! You could tell that this wasn't their first rodeo! Next was Tina the GM this gal was on top of her game. Very sweet and accommodating but you could tell on the other side of that coin was a savvy tough businesswoman that was going to be fair but by no means going to be taken advantage of! She settled my early onset buyer's remorse that i could feel brewing with transparency. Mo finished up our car deal and was also the finance guy! I loved that cause once we came to an agreement, we shook hand and started banging out paperwork! Mo was an awesome dude very knowledgeable with all the different extended warranties packages which i never did until we bought our last used vehicle and needed to use it on the way home from the dealer. We were in and out in no time. Lastly the Owner Austin! how cool is it for the owner of the dealership to make himself available to his customers. He personally helped my wife and I with whatever we needed or questions we had. It was nice not to have to wait for a salesman to run ask the manager a question then run back with and answer! By the time he got back I probably had 3 or 4 more question to send him running back with! lol Austin was personable and kind! Which was a breath of fresh air this day in time. This was also after the dealership had closed on a Sat night! A few things that are small but can make or break a car deal is that they had fresh free hotdogs cooking all day with 5 or 6 different flavors of soda pop obviously coffee with one of those fancy coffee makes with different flavors of coffee and cappuccino, clean bathrooms and something as a parent and someone that used to sale cars they had a nice selection of boys and girls toys! if you've ever tried to purchase a car with a bored toddler forget about it! the salesman can feel the words we're going to have to come back without the kids. that's how the dealership down the street with toys just made your customer their latest car buyer! Shout out to Scot and Bryan as well! They weren't involved in my car deal but did a good job at making us feel welcome and at ease! Sorry about them Aggie's buddy! I would recommend #texascarone to any and every one that's in the market for a vehicle especially a young couple that might be first time buyers. 10 years old still no problems. Silky smooth diesel engine with over 400 lbs of torque. Lots of towing climbing power. More comfortable than Audi A7. A Porche for VW Price!

2016 Volkswagen Touareg review
I own a 2016 VW Touareg and the experience has been great. I is luxurious inside and very classy outside. No aggressive lines and is very sturdy. Closing the front doors feels solid like closing a refrigerator. It is expensive to maintain and is very good for long trips because it holds a lot of gasoline in its tank. Even we need it in snowy conditions like in Colorado it has excellent traction and could send the whole engine power to one wheel if need it.

2013 Volkswagen Touareg review
This SUV is amazing. It is fully loaded and the panoramic sunroof was the WOW factor that sold me. It rides so smoothly that even Ohio highways seem seamless. I’m still learning my way around the touchscreen computer and I’ll definitely need the manual to direct me because there is more to it than I am used to. Overall it is the pure luxury we were looking for since we are getting older.

2016 Volkswagen Touareg review
This is my second one. Vw bought back my 09 TDI for a crazy high price. Bought this in dec 17 when the fix was approved. Sharp handling and gobs of tourqey power make it a blast to drive. Sumptuous interior makes me miss my last car, Mercedes e320cdi, very little. Original Pirelli tires were awful! On michelin defender ltx now, much better.

2015 Volkswagen Touareg review
I have owned this car for 5 years, and it still looks brand new! The paint is amazing, the interior is pure leather luxury, and it handles like a dream! On top of all that, my gas mileage is incredible! I only have to fill it up 1 x per week, and I drive 60 miles a day! I absolutely adore this car, and I cannot imagine driving anything else.

Tranny is dodgy on my 2012 v6...sport mode is worse....this suv needs a v8...sorry. I'm tall - the seats are not that great for me especially on long trips. Bought it 2020 so it was reasonably priced but now I'm looking for a Merc.

2015 Volkswagen Touareg review
I've had my first-hand Diesel Touareg for 7 years now. I love her! The Touareg was bought to replace my Golf R32, and i have no regrets. She feels like driving a big Golf. LOL. The Touareg drives like a driver's car. Can't deny the quality of material used for the interior, made to last! Leather interior and panel finish barely has any traces of wear and tear (that's with this car used daily to transport 2 kids). The chrome trim of the R-Line gives this classic silhouette an elegant and polished finish. Keeping her for as long as she can keep going.

2013 Volkswagen Touareg review
Loved the Touareg LUX from the first moment I drove it. Easy to drive, easy to see other vehicles on the road, lots of power, handles great, and a smooth ride. The downside is the fickle electonics system - which is a known entity with German cars. Here a bug... there a bug... some of them would go away and some would require a mechanic's touch to fix. Also, for some reason my car kept having radiator issues. While most occured under warranty, it happened again around 100,000 miles. It was regularly serviced so nothing ever became problematic, but trips to the mechanic could sometimes not give me the best news.

2016 Volkswagen Touareg review
Bought my 2016 Touareg Executive in 2018 with 62,000 miles on it for $19,500. Currently today sitting with 135k. 73,000 miles with almost zero hiccups. Had the windshield replaced last year by Safelite Auto glass and they screwed up the calibration on the windshield camera. But that was all covered by them. It would have been $3500 for a camera and OEM windshield, and the calibration. The other thing that is really disappointing is the LED strip on the head lights went bad on both sides and the head lights are about $650 each. It’s $1200 a head light installed. But besides that we have had zero issues. The ride is great, the interior and exterior design is timeless this SUV will look great in 20 years. The build quality is top notch. Everything you expect from a Germany luxury vehicle. I feel safe in the 6000lb car. It tows my 21 foot boat that weighs 5500lb with little trouble. The best vehicle I have ever owned. Tahoe, Yukon have nothing on this SUV. The V6 gas engine with the 8 speed automatic is a bulletproof combo. That’s why they use this transmission in Porsche, Bentley, and Audi. I choose this over the Q7. Which is the same exact platform. People are always shocked by how nice the tourage is. Very sad they stopped selling it here in the states. 2014 Volkswagen Touareg review
This car brings me joy - pure, joy. It's thought of things I didn't even know possible and it doesn't do it in an overly luxurious / pompous way; though it certainly is luxurious, and in the most pragmatic way... I love its handling, styling, feeling of performance/safety/reliabilty...I had to write this - and I've never reviewed anything before in my life.
