Great car, quiet ride mostly for an SUV, glad I bought it, tested Honda CRV, Mazda CX-5, Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sorrento, Chevrolet Equinox, Terrain, and many others, at that time I could not make a comparison with Toyota since there were none to be tested, the Tiguan stood above the others

Nice riding vehicle EXCEPT it has a hesitation issue when you step on the gas from a standstill. Happens most when the "stop/start" is active, less when you turn it off but it still hesitates. Dealer has no answer other than it is normal and we can't find anything. Others have voiced same concern, recall?

Overall it was a good experience. I really love the Genesis G80 2.5T they were selling. The salesman and his manager were really nice. They were willing to work with me on purchasing car. The only problem I had was the the distance. Jackson Nissan is in the state of Michigan and I am in El Paso, Texas. If the vehicle was here locally I probably would have bought it. I have owned this 2023 Tiguan SEL R line for almost a year. I have been absolutely satisfied with the quality, the ride, the fuel mileage and everything else about it. IMO it’s the best bang for the buck on the market. It is loaded with options and is still very affordable. I love this VW and , of course, I highly recommend it.

Our family of 5 has traveled across US, Canada, & many many daily city miles, in our Tiguan (almost 200k) with solid performance. General maintenance, & a loose nut on window regulator. Acceleration slowed but spray clean of mass air flow (MAF) sensor solved issue. Seats are comfy enough but maybe less engineered for 1,000-mile trips. 2018 infotech was quirky, but good enough. Folding 3rd row, full sun & added hitch for bikes etc. make this smallish SUV super convenient for city as well as long trips.

Sawyers is convenient and efficient. It is also easy to work with them, including on special requests, and especially in light of the Chevrolet app. I highly recommend them.

Traded my 23 Atlas SE Technology V6 for the 24 SEL R-Line premium. This SUV is fantastic, a great value, reliable and the performance of the turbo 4 engine is excellent and most impressive. I've driven Volkswagen's for years and this one hasn't disappointed. Advice to Volkswagen, bring back the TDI!

This car is far superior to my previous 2021 Toyota RA4. In my distant youth I use to do some racing and handling is highest priority. Suspension, steering, 17" alloy wheels vs 15" steel wheels with hubcaps, full spare tire vs doughnut, 3 row seating vs 2 rows, 400 lbs heavier therefore more stable in windy conditions and roads that are not level, and much more. Only downside is the general Volkswagen issue with poor sound systems. Not only that, the after market is almost non-existent for the Tiguan.

I spoke with Kathleen, who supported us, and she spoke with the owner John who graciously sent out a check soon after. Their response and willingness to address my concern was truly commendable! This was the 1st car that I bought brand new a 2012 jeddah station wagon I like this car a lot have a 150000 miles on it only one issue and that was resolved quickly I keep it maintained I take care of oil changes when needed And it has been a very good car

I had to take my truck in to have a GSM replacement and Seymour went above and beyond to communicate and ensure an efficient job with as quick of a turnaround as they could do for me.

GTI's do almost everything well. Economy, performance, flexibility, holds value, road car, back roads car, safety, comfort, feature-laden and now almost $10K less than the price of the average new vehicle. Two minor flaws IMO. All GTI's should have Golf R climate controls. Standard controls too confusing and fussy. Rather set it and forgot it. DSG is "still funky after all these years." Don't get me wrong, the lightning quick shifts and in-traffic ease are compelling, but DSGs can be clunky and feel strange at low speed and can't yet read all of your intentions correctly, thus some odd decisions/shifts on occasion. Not a fault, just a thing. Otherwise brilliant. GTI is among the contenders for "best" mass-produced combustion engine car of all time. Yes, that good. If shopping the used market, I would strongly suggest one try to get a Performance Package car. Much better brakes that won't need brake service as often and stop better. Also, the electronically controlled differential aids both traction and handling.

This was one of my favorite cars I test drove, but also one of the base models. It has a huge trunk and tons of room for a car seat or 2. Gets an average of 38-40mpg which is awesome for my driving to and from work.

The repair results were good. I was most impressed by the staff. Honest, good follow up and knowledgeable.

Bought a 2016 CPO with about 65k miles. (Never had to use the warranty). 1.8 L turbo engine has surprising low end torque and lots of highway passing HP. GREAT MPG! Lots of leg room for all passengers. A really great road trip car. Lost it in a crash @ 110k :(

30mpg avg with the longest and widest roof rail base for outdoor gear at a price that made sense. 2nd row middle seat folds down individually for skis and paddles. Remote start on the vw app is great for cooling the interior down on a 100 degree day from a distance. Rear seat door opening and leg room is huge great for elders to enter easily and for parents loading car seats.

I left a review on January 31st,"Scammed1" ,about my situation at that time with purchasing a car from Motorcars of Lansing. It wasn't a great review at all. However Semoine, Orlando , Brandon, Tina and Jack sat down with me and they helped me get this situation resolved. It is a fun car to own, great gas mileage and even if your not going to turn it into a rice burner it is still a awesome little car and gots alot of power, you can get around all these slow idiot drivers that seem to be all over the place. The interior is nice and comfortable, I have already took mine on a trip to Cali and no comfort issues, smart with mechanical other than stuff that should of been taken care of by the dealership on their "certified pre-owned inspection" but that is a dealership laziness issue so stay away from Larry H Miller Volkswagen in Avondale and you should be ok. Look forward to many many years & miles behind the wheel of my car and would recommend this car

Best small car I've ever owned. Good MPH, fun to drive and a wonderful sound system. The all wheel drive along with the get up and go of this car is excellent.

My husband and I were recently on an extended trip from NC to Alabama to Michigan and upstate NY. Our S550 decided to break down just outside Lansing. The airmatic suspension failed and car was not safe to drive. Lucky for us we were only a few miles from this dealership. We called and Eric Shier took us right in when we arrived. Had the car assessed by Ali in short order. He was able to order the parts and had us back on the road in two days - no quibbling about not having time to get to us till next week, etc. And Ali even helped us transfer our luggage to the rental vehicle and reassured us that he knows his way around the S class. We count ourselves very lucky to have had that breakdown near your dealership. Excellent care from both these gentlemen. Might even have to visit family in Michigan the next time we are in the market for a car. Thank you

My wife and I were going shopping for a new SUV at a Subaru dealership but weren't sure about the CVT on the Forester when we ran across a used 2014 Tiguan with only 1,700 miles on it. We both liked the functional but restrained look of the interior of the Tiguan with its smaller, well-integrated screen rather than the fussy look of dashboards in other cars. This Tiguan was the SEL with every option other than 4 motion. With nearly 80,000 miles on it, I am still pleased on how it handles in Los Angeles freeway traffic. It has enough power to smoothly merge onto freeways and it has very tight and true tracking despite freeway bumps and potholes. Reliability has been very good. This model year solved the chain tensioner issue plaguing earlier years and this was also one of the last model years to be built in Germany so its fit and finish has held up very well.

I drive 60 miles to get my BMW serviced at Serra Auto Campus. The service is excellence and the pricing is always fair.

I have a 2021 Tiguan SE 4 Motion, I have the car for over a year and with 11,000 miles. I give this car a general 4 stars. It’s a great car, very stable, great MPG, the air condition is very cold, road noise is very minimal, great driving view. Very comfortable to everyone except the driver seat, the middle armrest is low and further to the back, the door armrest is low, I have to drive with 2 small billows on long road trips. All other seats are very comfortable. The 3rd. Row is very very tight. The interior dash design is outdated, there is NO end call button on the steering wheel. Performance is good but 30-40 more horse power will definitely makes a difference. Value for money is great, but not for a resale! If you are planning to keep a car for a long time buy it. Exterior design I love it. Reliability, with less than 200 mile I had a cruise control fault, took it to the dealer it was fixed for over $1,000 but it was under warranty, two months later the problem came back again. At 8000 miles I had an engine light, EPC light (electronic power control system) something to do with the engine, and the car lost power, I took it to the dealer and there was a misfire on engine cylinder number 3. I still love my car, I would buy it again, and I hope that it will last for 10 years minimum.
