It's a medium-sized SUV. It's not a Porsche, Audi or MB. It is comfortable, reliable, the size and capacity I sought. In two years I've put on ~24K miles and absolutely no problems. My wife is handicapped and uses a walker. She thought the car was comfortable and we made two round trips from Hartford, CT to Key West. In the last 60 years We've had a Beetle, Passat, and a VW Bus that carried our family of four and 2 Dachshunds aacross the country and back to Connecticut - Twice!

This is my 2nd VW. My 1st was a 02 passat I bought in 2013. It was the most reliable car I ever owned. It has 230000 miles and still runs great! This Atlas takes things to a whole different level. The look, performance and features are world-class! The only knock I would have is the mpg is average at best. Only 20mpg on average. But overall it is a great vehicle for the price. The SEL trim is fully loaded. Whatever feature you could imagine, it has it. I hope to enjoy this vehicle for years to come.

We went to just to look but drove away in a gorgeous new Chevy Trailblazer. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we were getting what we wanted within the budget we needed. If you are looking to purchase a new or used vehicle, I would definitely go visit the team at Cable-Dahmer on Nolan Road in Independence. I am in love with my cute little new car.

I really love the feel and comfort of this vehicle. It serves my family of 4 well. I am the 2nd owner at 13,000 miles. Only issue so far is the oil consumption. After only driving the car 600 miles after my first oil change, check oil light came on. It was a qt. low. I am now in the process of getting it checked at my local VW dealer. Will update on outcome.

I must be an exception. I have had no issues with my Tiguan at all after a year and a half of ownership. Bought in October, 2021. I do notice the hesitation on start up but it’s not an issue. I had an Audi allroad and was considering the Q5 but, you get pretty much all the same features with the Tiguan that the price difference just wasn’t justified for me. Plenty of get up and space when you need it. I’m a life long VAG customer so the quirks don’t deter me. I’ve had a great experience and would recommend the Tiguan.

Only have it six months, bought it spur of the moment! my wife thought i was crazy! I owned Many cars and have a few now this is a good SUV 30 Thousand less than the Audi Q 7 but made the same , only inside and outside different.

I have a 2019 Atlas. This car is amazing and mind you I can't kill it. My car has 188,000 miles on it. The drive is smooth and very reliable. It has the room to fit all 5 of my kiddos perfectly and enough room in the trunk to even fit a wonderfold wagon with all the seats up. I highly recommend if you want a good SUV with a lot of room in it

During our time at McCarthy Honda we worked with Ben and he is incredible at his job! He is a straight shooter and his motivation really was to find a car that was the best fit for us. He happily and professionally handled all of our questions, comments & concerns. He was knowledgeable about the cars in stock, financing options and respectful of our boundaries. We did find a car we loved, but it was outside of our decided budget. During negotiations we worked with Rodney. He patiently and kindly explained exactly why the price point we were trying to negotiate down to wasn’t feasible, but he did try to find creative solutions to get us in something similar within our budget. Even after he realized the sale likely wasn’t going to happen, he was never patronizing or dismissive. Ultimately, we did not end up purchasing a vehicle during this visit. We are going to keep up with their new inventory as it comes in online because we actually WANT to buy from them. In today’s world we (as a society) have to be more cognizant than ever about putting our money in the hands of good people, and we have no doubt McCarthy Honda is one of the best dealerships in town (if not THE best) with GREAT people. My wife and I were going shopping for a new SUV at a Subaru dealership but weren't sure about the CVT on the Forester when we ran across a used 2014 Tiguan with only 1,700 miles on it. We both liked the functional but restrained look of the interior of the Tiguan with its smaller, well-integrated screen rather than the fussy look of dashboards in other cars. This Tiguan was the SEL with every option other than 4 motion. With nearly 80,000 miles on it, I am still pleased on how it handles in Los Angeles freeway traffic. It has enough power to smoothly merge onto freeways and it has very tight and true tracking despite freeway bumps and potholes. Reliability has been very good. This model year solved the chain tensioner issue plaguing earlier years and this was also one of the last model years to be built in Germany so its fit and finish has held up very well.

I've dealt with better. Not completely negative of an experience. Not the best either. Their service dept seems to be slacking. How do you put a car on a lot for sale with a check engine light on? I can see when it was last cleared. Not very long before I bought it. Salesman trying to tell me the engine isn't getting up to temp because it's cold outside. No. It's a bad thermostat. Headlight wasn't plugged in. And WAAAAY out of alignment. Their cars are supposedly looked over with a xx point safety check. I doubt that. Looked over, cleared codes, topped up fluids. Put an oil change sticker on the window. But did they really? It looks clean so I assume so. The detailers did a FANTASTIC job!! This car was super clean!!

Our 24 Atlas SEL rline premium is more than we expected. The fuel efficiency and premium comfort makes this actually a great value with how expensive some of the other cars are.

Brett was great to work with and very patient with me as I wasnt sure whether to go used or new on a Miata. After much research and reviewing used prices I ended up with a new Miata for very little more than a used one. No brainer , new car smell and full warranty thanks to Brett and Luther Mazda.

Overall I'm satisfying with the car I have no issue till now the car is running 55,000 mile over, still I don't have any major problem. The space is huge inside that car that is more satisfying even if you sit in the third row and adult person can sit comfortably.

My atlas has been an excellent car to me. Other than the poor quality factory tires I have had 0 issues. I tow a 4,500lb Coleman with my atlas with minimal stress. It's truly impressive. Most comfortable SUV I could have while still getting 22 MPG when getting groceries.

had an issue with car shutting down during highway driving.. Technician research issue determine cause and advised. keep me advise as to steps needed to determine the issue.

30mpg avg with the longest and widest roof rail base for outdoor gear at a price that made sense. 2nd row middle seat folds down individually for skis and paddles. Remote start on the vw app is great for cooling the interior down on a 100 degree day from a distance. Rear seat door opening and leg room is huge great for elders to enter easily and for parents loading car seats.

There buying process is pretty simple and easy, easier than I thought it would be! And I received great service and have no complaints, plan on buying my next car from them as well!

Great car, quiet ride mostly for an SUV, glad I bought it, tested Honda CRV, Mazda CX-5, Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sorrento, Chevrolet Equinox, Terrain, and many others, at that time I could not make a comparison with Toyota since there were none to be tested, the Tiguan stood above the others

I absolutely love this car and all it’s features even though it doesn’t open and close trunk via keyphobe. Kids love the car especially the panoramic sunroof.

Loved this car for the three years I’ve owned it. Be sure to set aside $1,000 for a maintenance repair around 75,000 miles. Possibly sooner. Carbon build up is extremely common in Tiguans.

My door handle on my hatchback has been repaired and replaced two times and now is gone again. It is a 2017 Wolfsburg and I am not pleased with the cost of 1200. I wouldn’t mind but they are only lasting two years. Ridiculous. Can’ use my hatchback.
