I bought my 2011 C30 almost 6 years ago (2015). It has been everything I had hoped for, and then some. This is my second Volvo. (My second car, back in the day, was a 1964 Volvo 122S.) While the C30 is a "compact" car, the Swedes designed the interior with more than enough room for my 6' 3" frame. I love taking the car out on the winding roads through the coastal hills and letting it rip. My C30 has been extremely reliable, and problem-free. As a 10 year-old car, its styling more than holds up over time. I still get compliments from strangers, many who can't believe it's a Volvo. I expect to own this car for many years to come. After years of owning larger vehicles while we raised our family, this C30 has been an absolute joy to own and drive.

Bought a 2005 Lincoln Navigator, 145k miles. It's in excellent shape, no issues since I've purchased it. I think they're an honest dealership. I would use them again if I needed another used vehicle.

We travel to Europe frequently and have always lease/purchased Peugeot 208/308's and lamented that we wish we could find a car in the U.S. market that was as well built, had the fuel economy and handled like the Peugeot. The Volvo C30 does all that and goes a wee bit better. Some may not like the exterior styling, but we do. The interior is OK but the seats are moofy while still offering good support. The reliability is OK with parts and labor being too high for what the car is...sorry Volvo. This is an enthusiast's car, so if you are not a run of the mill person, check out the C30, unfortunately this car is no longer manufactured so a used one will have to do.

This has been a great car super reliable fun to drive and a pleasure to own! not the most comfortable for long distance drive but looks super cool! it has always been a head turner people just love to look at this car!

Friendly staff, not too pushy; however, Buyer Beware -- they do a great job making a car look great both in pictures and in person, but the car we bought turned out to have nearly non-existent brakes, badly worn rotors, and, unfortunately, engine damage from having been run with little to no oil in the past. We checked the oil in the parking lot, looked new and topped off, and no signs of leaking. Didn't check the exhaust pipe, however, which would have given a clue to the amount of oil the engine was (is) burning. We discovered this upon getting a 120K mile service interval one week *after* purchase from XDrive -- they pulled the oil filter and there was a TON of metal shavings in it, and we soon discovered that its burning oil at the rate of approx. one quart per gas tank or six hours of driving time. Only way to have found this was to have it checked by a mechanic *before* purchase.

Love my C30 R-Design so much I turned a one day old Cayman back in because it just felt better.. Last month I decided to keep it over the new XC40. Of all my 18 new sports cars purchased over 40 years, this is the one car I like overall the best! 5 cylinder with turbo is good combo along with auto trans that I use in manual mode alot. I wouldn't let it go for less than $15K even at the 93K mark.

Nice styling, very smooth engine, quite peppy, holds a lot for a hot hatch...I can even put 2 car seats in the back for the grandchildren. I would buy another similar Volvo coupe but they offer nothing in this segment and I like standard transmissions.

The C30 is what the Mini wants to be. Waited and watched for a couple years to buy the Polestar version of the C30. In mid 2016 found the 01 of the 250 built for the US with around 50k miles for sale. Bought it for 19k. This model C30 has the works. Leather, premium sound, sunroof, heated electric 5-way seats, etc. I bumped the power to a stage 3 with the Euro T5 version Borg Warrner K16 turbo, larger intercooler, 650 injectors, 3 bar MAF, custom air intake, custom tune, etc. Car now puts out 340 horses and slightly less torque. It's fast and nimble. Best thing about this car is even with all the mods it is stunningly reliable. The C30 is my everyday driver and I even take it on 12 hr. road trips. Assuming I keep my foot mostly out of turbo the car gets around 26 in town 30 highway. I am good with that considering. Car is going on 11 years old and 100k miles. Paint and interior are still great, and maintenance is what you would expect from a car half its age. At this point, 2024 the C30 will have been out of production for 11 years. Can't say I would advise anyone to buy this car as some interior and exterior parts are already becoming difficult or impossible to buy new. Unless you are an enthusiast like me that want's a C30 regardless Volvo has newer models less fun but as reliable.

I have a 2011 C30 T-5 with red interior and a polestar tune package. This is my 4th volvo and I like most everything about this car. As all volvo's are heavy weight bricks and can be a little bit sluggish on the launch, but this one is pretty zippy with the tune up. The brakes suck on this car, so I put a big brake kit and that fixes the mushy feel. The car is also way too tall, so I put in coil overs to lower the stance. the car comes with laughable window tinting so that was done too. I would note this car gets poor fuel economy for as small as it is, so if that's a concern, don't get this car. You will be disappointed with each fill up oh high octane fuel. Otherwise, this is a cool original car, and you can be sure there aren't a whole lot out there as you zip around in your very original looking hatchback.

I've driven little 4 cylinder compact cars like my mother owns before, I've also driven old trucks and a few SUV's, but this is probably my favorite car I've ever driven besides my buddies M Series BMW, It's comfortable and surprisingly large on the inside, I'm 6'2" and my girlfriend is 5'8" and we both have the drivers seat settings saved to where it's more than comfortable for either of us to drive. the small size makes the car a breeze to park and has a good turning radius. Also with 225-ish HP you can get up and go very quickly, the only problem I have is that the automatic transmission can be kind of lazy when you slam on the gas at first, after it downshifts it's perfectly fine though.

My son and I was on a car buying mission on Saturday February 22nd 2025. We started our journey at Indy Luxary Autos on Pendelton Pike to be let down. So we went on to our original plan and headed for Indy Auto Center on Michigan Rd., originally my son was after a 2013 Baby Blue Chrysler 200 that he seen roughly about a week prior on the internet and absolutely wanted it. I called on our way to the dealership to make sure it was still available and told Sami that we would be there in 30 minutes not knowing it would take all of that 30 minutes to get there from Pendleton Pike to his location on Michigan Rd. When we arrived there was a bit of a snafu. Well long story short version a set of lady's came in 10 minutes after we had talked on the phone (Sami thought it was us) and they took the car we was after out on a test drive with it being first come first serve and we understood that. Now in the mean time of them only supposed to be on 15 minute test (the ladys where gone for at least 45 minutes) drive they took us to another 200 that was a year older a bit nore in price by like $900.00 and it really caught my son's eye to the point they pulled it out and got it all situated for him to take it out. Now the other car was still on a test drive when the other one we was offered was ready to be taken out. We eneded taking them both out and my son fell in love with 2nd car that Sami showed us and his family even gave us HUGE discount for all trouble that we went through. I was very pleased with the outcome and so was my son. Now I'm not going to lie I was worried that something might go wrong because you just never know with used cars but it hasn't and he has drove it everywhere. I'm very greatful for Smai and his team they where kind courteous and very helpful. I was originally going to post the review the day we bought the car but I wanted to make sure it was solid and that his crew and dealership was worthy of a very amazing review and I couldn't be happier with our choice of car or dealership. First time I sow it I wasn't to excited "What can you expect from Volvo" I thought. First time I drove it I fell in love with it. Car is very soft feels like you draining limousine, comfortable seats, premium sound, excellent handling in city and freeway. I am very happy with this car. I haven't had any mechanical problems at all. Do recommend it

I purchased this car 10 years ago new. It was a base model with a 6 speed manual. I still comment to myself when I drive this car how much I like it. Comfortable, and all the speed I need for around town and the highway. No problem merging or passing. So far very reliable. Gets a lot of admirers.

My first car was a Renault Clio Bebop, followed by a Peugeot 106 rally car, then an Alfa 145 and then I met this C30 guy in 2009. I loved it. Then I bought a C30 again in 2012, with a nicer design, the EcoDrive. I still have this and it's been 10 years. It brings together everything I like in a car: safety, stability, resistance and beautiful design. It is a shame that so much damage has been suffered in the workshops that represent Volvo – Santogal in Portugal. There it was damaged in several ways, and in the last inspection, a few days ago, they did several things to it, namely: they filled the coolant tank too much (1 finger over the maximum), they cleaned the air conditioning system and at the time removing the grille. which is near the front glass, they broke a fitting and on the same side they lost a screw, that is, this grille is only fixed on the left side, on the right side it is loose. They discovered that the inner bellows was broken and for this reason they wanted to replace both steering arms. I know that to change this bellows you have to disassemble many things, it is a lot of work, but saying that “there is considerable clearance in the suspension arms” to justify changing the right and left arms seems too much to me, especially when I go for the mandatory inspection to request an evaluation of this clearance and verify that there is no clearance, they confirmed that the internal bellows is broken but found no clearance in the suspension arms. In the past they have damaged the rims mainly because Volvo wheel nuts are really challenging as they are one of the few brands that insist on making a capped nut that is sealed to look better but eventually comes loose. . When they loosen, they cannot be released easily and that is why they do it by hammering. Over time the paint wears off and now I have wheels that are a shame. In addition to all this, the C30 for me is a fantastic car with extraordinary features. On the home/work route it consumes 5.4, which is great, and in the city it consumes more, staying at 7.2. However, in addition to being a pleasure to drive this car, because we feel that we are in a safe car, it drives quite well and responds very well in situations where we need engine and power. The engine is a known and proven engine (Peugeot 307) and as such presents no problems in this regard. The exterior design for me remains one of the most beautiful. When the car is well washed (mine is silver) it looks beautiful and has an aggressive look, naughty I would say! :) It's lovely. It's a shame they ended this model. I won't let go of mine. It will stay with me until it reaches classic status! :)

Extraordinarily well conceived and executed. The build is so solid, it just FEELS like a brick outhouse but it drives like a scalded cat. Or a golf cart - it all depends on how hard the loud pedal is pushed. Needs good tyres to bring out its best. Quiet. The back seats are incredible and when laid down, the boot is really big.

This is my 2nd great experience at Roseville Auto Sales. My first great experience was about 3 years ago. Todd also helped me last time, and I'd been in communication with Matt via email. However, I had just purchased a nice 2000 Ford Focus from there that had been on their lot for awhile, but I did the research beforehand so knew the history of the car etc, so knew what I was getting into. They're always laid back there, and you ask for keys for whatever car(s) you want to test drive, and you can take your time inspecting under hood, starting them, then test driving them. Once you make up your mind on a purchase, all the paperwork takes less than 30 minutes and you're out the door. Thank you Todd and Matt for a very pleasant experience, I'll be back again in a couple years. They did mention they've been open 29 years roughly and have sold over 29,000 cars, which I believe, they stay pretty busy and overall have a very good selection of cars, a lot have high miles but some have moderate miles and are very reasonable. This car is the right size for commuting in. There is decent visibility, handles well and a smooth ride that takes some of the stresses out of traffic. The style is fantastic for a bottom of line model. Sure it doesn't have all the fancy gadgets the bigger cars have, but would you really use them on a daily basis. If you are looking for an up-scale hatch, check it out ...if you can find one.

This car has the perfect balance of performance and styling. Dash is well laid out for user input while driving. The turbocharged 5 cylinder performs extremely well while getting close to 30MPG. You can tell car was well designed and it very much has safety in mind. Body structure is more substantial and then any other two door car I've owned. I would highly recommend this car!

A nimble and quick hatchback. A total sleeper that outperforms a Mini or a VW. Very safe as well. The interior style is like a modern art museum.

Worked with a gentleman who goes by Mo to help me finance and purchase a 2013 VW Jetta Sportwagen, TDI, manual trans. It's a very hard to find car. Not only was he helpful in listening to, and fulfilling my needs - he was also very *very* patient. This deal took about three weeks to get locked in because of some static I got from my credit union. Shipped the car to my door with no issues, supported me for about a week after the purchase, always got return communications in a more than reasonable time frame.

I bought this car due to its performance potential...It absolutely lived up to its hype and for as much modifying as was done to it, it handled it all very well..I want to raise the reliability score when I read people giving it poor reliability ratings in the review section..Their reasons for the low score were not owning to the car long enough so they gave it a 1, and the other was parts and labor are expensive, but still didnt state if they actually had a reliability issues..Ive owned this car for 6 years, and not one time has it remotely let me down, and I'm in the forums for the following of people with the c30..Rarely have I seen a complaint..
