Used Volvo S40 for sale near Orange Park, FL

I interacted with many dealerships big and small to choose my new vehicle. I LOVE how easy it is to talk with this dealership. When you make contact they put you in an optional text chat so anytime you have a question you text it and they get back to you usually very quickly. We worked with Garrett and even. Though we were very wishy washy and changed our minds on what we wanted many times he was very patient and helpful. He also gave many suggestions that actually we turned out to love better than what we were originally looking for. They worked hard for us on financing and options and gave us several options to choose from. After the sale Garrett didnt disappear...he still answered our messages and talked with his manager about some questions we had. We were very happy that he helped us even after the sale! Drove a 240 DL for 15 years and sold it, but it was still running with over 150,000 miles (which is not all that high of mileage for that car). Drove a Buick and it had transmission problems at less than 30,000 miles. Came back to Volvo and I expect this 4-1/2 year old car to take me well into the 2020s. This is a fun, sleek, modern ride and I LOVE IT!!!

My experience was excellent from the test drive. to the financing/purchase, right to the point of delivery. Pricing was reasonable too, and I felt like a valued customer every step of the way.

This car is in very good condition even though it's 13 years old. We just got it in our possession yesterday since it still needed detailed but it is a great little car so far.

The Volvo S40 just seems to have everything it needs. It is comfortable, easy to drive, zippy, looks great and has all the right bells and whistles. What more could I need? A long run!! Say a couple hundred thousand miles? Dependability!

built like a mini military tank with style and performance I have an 18 year old car (2005 model S40 with manual trans) and its just amazing Those years this was imported from Sweden as a competition to the BMS 328 series....but they couldn't beat the bimmer and in due course of time they stopped importing. I would call it an European Toyota

I had no idea how stressful moving could be until I attempted it on my own. Thankfully, these movers saved the day. They arrived promptly, packed everything quickly, and ensured that nothing was damaged during the move. I really appreciated their attention to detail, especially with fragile items. The whole process was a lot less stressful with their help. I will definitely be using them again if I ever move!

Car has been very reliable and dependable. It does have the typical Volvo sunroof drain issue that needs to be addressed annually or else you will have a pool of water in your footwell. Went thru drivers side bearings more than usual but truly that's about it. Fantastic reliability and safety.

We have had one for about 7 years. Very good little car. Always starts up nice and fast and compact. Only problem was leaking water through the sunroof.

It drives smooth and quiet. Everything mechanical works great. The only problems I've had are with electrical. The wiring harnesses are kind of fickle, but other than electrical it was a great buy.

The model Volvo is the best type of car I ever drove. They run super good. My kids love the sunroof. They’re so easy and comfortable to drive in. The exterior looks good.

I like the size and style of this smaller Volvo. I wished this this style was still being made. The servicing of this car has been excellent.

Car drives great, more than adequate power. Pretty good on gas. Nice torque hills are not an issue. Only selling because I own 2 others.

I have owned all american made cars. I test drove this car and I fell in love. It has pick-up and go, handles like a sports car, and feels like a luxury sedan. The price was great. Compared Mercedes and BMWs and found this to be the best fit. I love the curtain air-bags, I feel completely safe. BEST CAR EVER!!!

This car is enjoyable to own and drive. It is very powerful, don't really that much on-road power difference between it and the T5 version which I also have one of. I f anything the naturally aspirated S40i seems to go better at high rpms and just about as well at lower ones. The drawback to these cars is their engine crankcase fume system which will have an eventual issue that requires it's complete replacement at about a thousand dollars. This occurs at about 100,000 miles. Also the alternator (a Ford/Mazda product) will probably also need replacing at these miles, as will the starter motor/solonoid. This has been my personal experience. Another issue are the 'green' rubber suspension bushes which like Mercedes ones also, will require renewal at about 100,000 miles. This is also not inexpensive to do to fit new front and rear suspension arms and control rods. So, in summary, a LOVELY car, BUT, an expensive one to keep on the road after a few years..!

I bought my 2.4i new in September of 2004. There's only been a couple minor fixes in 19 years e.g. Wiper fluid pump (ford), etc. Someone mentioned the windows rolling themselves down. Here too, but it cleared itself up. Currently at 149k miles and rust is forming around the wheel wells. My sense is the body will go before the rest of this little zippy tank does. Afraid I'll never find anything like it again...

The S40 is good. Only it gets dirty frequently so be carefull of rust on exterior. Well it works and is good image for me- safe and looking good!

They were very responsive and professional in an attempt to meet my needs. Unfortunately the vehicle I was interested in sold before I could get there.

I love my S40. I bought it with a manual transmission and all wheel drive and I don?t regret it at all. The engine is responsive and quick, the car has loads of torque across the entire rev range, and the turbo is quick. The chassis is firm. There?s almost no body roll or chassis movements over bumps and potholes. The all wheel drive system along with Volvo safety tech allows me to drive normal roadway speeds in snowy or wet conditions. The interior is minimalistic and well laid out with extremely comfortable seats. I absolutely love this car.

We enjoyed the positive, relaxed atmosphere at this dealership. Friendly people but not pushy. Lots of cars on a small space. All cars have doors unlocked, with keys inside, so you can enter and see for yourself - without being attacked with nonsense by some annoying sales person. In result, we made a fast purchase, after a quick negotiation with Ricky and Angel. Paperwork was done quickly and professionally, and my daughter left with her new car.

I can pack 2 large dogs and a bale of hay. safe ride. never thought I'd drive a car but this car hasn't let me down!

I've recently purchased a Volvo s40. It's been a good car so far. It's very stylish in the inside and on the outside. I was kinda discouraged that it didn't have mats in it, but still a nice car so far.

The telephone call was pleasant. The sales person was cordial, and informative. Our problem was she is on the West coast, and I am on the East coast! It's, as you might expect, difficult to buy something sight unseen.

great looking, fast, and super reliable car that doesn't attract too much attention. It handles amazingly in snow. We averaged 25 mpg. Fits into small parking spaces.
