built like a mini military tank with style and performance I have an 18 year old car (2005 model S40 with manual trans) and its just amazing Those years this was imported from Sweden as a competition to the BMS 328 series....but they couldn't beat the bimmer and in due course of time they stopped importing. This car is enjoyable to own and drive. It is very powerful, don't really that much on-road power difference between it and the T5 version which I also have one of. I f anything the naturally aspirated S40i seems to go better at high rpms and just about as well at lower ones. The drawback to these cars is their engine crankcase fume system which will have an eventual issue that requires it's complete replacement at about a thousand dollars. This occurs at about 100,000 miles. Also the alternator (a Ford/Mazda product) will probably also need replacing at these miles, as will the starter motor/solonoid. This has been my personal experience. Another issue are the 'green' rubber suspension bushes which like Mercedes ones also, will require renewal at about 100,000 miles. This is also not inexpensive to do to fit new front and rear suspension arms and control rods. So, in summary, a LOVELY car, BUT, an expensive one to keep on the road after a few years..!

The Volvo S40 just seems to have everything it needs. It is comfortable, easy to drive, zippy, looks great and has all the right bells and whistles. What more could I need? A long run!! Say a couple hundred thousand miles? Dependability!

I had a 2007 Volvo S40T a few years back and was amazed by it, simple to work on, reliable as all xxxx, quick and a gas saver, so I recently decided to get another S40, this time I got a 2005 S40 I, yes that same diehard 5 cylinder motor, but without the turbo, and let me tell you, it's crazy fast, saves gas and is fun to drive, Love my Volvo.

WAS PASSING BY AND A CAR I REALLY WANTED WAS LOOKING AT ME. IT WAS ON A RAINY SATURDAY, AND THE MONDAY i GOT THERE IT WAS GONE. I GO THEIR ONCE IN A WHILE AND LOOK AT THEIR CARS AND PRICES. THEY USUALLY HAVE A VAST VARIETY OF CHOICES. LIKE EVERY THING ELSE IF YOU ARE A CAR GUY, LIKE MYSELF 1 KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR. iF i HAD ANY DOUBT, THEIR IS A MECHANIC I DEAL WITH AND HE CHECK THE UNDERNEATH CAUSE THAT'S THE ONLY THING YOU CANNOT SEE. OTHER THAN THAT GREATEST SHOW IN TOWN FOR A CHEAP RIDE.

This is a good car but once the car starts breaking down it’s like a domino effect. However, it is a Swedish car so the repairs should be expected to be expensive. It is one of those cars that you truly have to stay on top of.

The mileage is low compared to other 2005 vehicles. The ride is smooth and super exceeds my expectation of an older model vehicle it rides just as smooth as a 2020! The interior is in good condition and has been maintained well.

Recently purchased a 2014 Audi A4 S-Line from Bespoke Auto and had a wonderful experience throughout! I like the size and style of this smaller Volvo. I wished this this style was still being made. The servicing of this car has been excellent.

Dependable and safe...great car, solidly built, smooth ride, nice power in the T5 engine. Has USB hook up, comfortable seating, lumbar for back on drivers seat. Back seats fold down for storage.

Great car all the way around , inside and out and they still look good it's one of those cars in a certain category of car's that your "not sure" what year it is because it never went out of style. You'll never hear someone say 'Oh that's a classic Volvo , most people to this day ask what kind of car is that with a compliment. I can hear the car designers saying "OK" let us think "outside the box" on this one. back in 1999 , don't Quote me on that , I think that's the 1st year of this design , It doesn't look like the rest of Volvo's , let's face it they made some UGLY A_ _ VOLVO'S

I bought my 2.4i new in September of 2004. There's only been a couple minor fixes in 19 years e.g. Wiper fluid pump (ford), etc. Someone mentioned the windows rolling themselves down. Here too, but it cleared itself up. Currently at 149k miles and rust is forming around the wheel wells. My sense is the body will go before the rest of this little zippy tank does. Afraid I'll never find anything like it again...

The price that was asked of the car was a fair price for the market. Rehan allowed us to ask questions, test drive the car, and made the entire process easy. I would definately recommend this dealership and would not hesitate to buy another car from them.

I owned this car for about 4+ months until I sold it. I loved the car a lot and it has served me well. It's a great realiable commuter car. Although the automatic radio antenna stopped working which was a shame but other than that the motor ran perfectly excellent. If your on a budget and want a fun small sedan I totally recommend this car

No issues, Everything works perfect . The car is always with me , very comfortable and stable. Its very nice to drive in any time of the year because car is always drives perfect at winter and summer.

I have bought a car from them for my daughter. The car wouldn't accept gas Bob told me to take it to their mechanics their mechanics found some stuff that was wrong with it and Bob took care of me as I was his own family. Really really really appreciate the honesty and how they took care of me and my kids.

This car is in very good condition even though it's 13 years old. We just got it in our possession yesterday since it still needed detailed but it is a great little car so far.

Its great I had a hyundai sonata for 5 years and it was nice but a lot of the features didn't work like the mirror defroster and the ac compressor was bad. This car is everything I need! Great gas mileage winter mode for driving in snow and a 6 cd player that plays cdrs. It doesn't have Bluetooth or an aux jack but the sound is great and I plan on getting one installed in the future. The interior cloth on the roof started to peel away but cosmetic issues are not important to me. And I keep getting a check engine light for the system being too rich but I was told its because of the ethanol in modern gasoline and a software update will fix it. That's the only issue ive had with the engine its really solid! No issues with any major problems and thats what matters to me. Love the car hope to keep it for 300,000 miles it has 71,000 now

Car has been very reliable and dependable. It does have the typical Volvo sunroof drain issue that needs to be addressed annually or else you will have a pool of water in your footwell. Went thru drivers side bearings more than usual but truly that's about it. Fantastic reliability and safety.

Car drives great, more than adequate power. Pretty good on gas. Nice torque hills are not an issue. Only selling because I own 2 others.
