2011 Volvo S80 review
I bought this car used and was a little nervous about the cost to own factor. But it has been very reliable and affordable. No issues at all so far and I have been driving it for 3 years. It's comfortable and timeless design will make it a car I will keep for years! I may never drive another one!

2011 Volvo S80 review
We have owned the following so you know what we are comparing the Volvo S80 T6 AWD: 1. Audi A8 2. Audi S4 3. BMW 535D 4. Genesis 5.0 5. Lexus LS430 6. BMW 328 Sport 7. MB E350 4Matic And other high line over the years We know what a good comfortable, insanely equipped, sporty, well made, reliable, fun, and classy sedan is. The Volvo S80 T6 AWD is our favorite vehicle of every car we have owned. I can’t understand any reviews where there is any reference to the Volvo S80 T6 not be sporty, well handling, fun, and stuck to the road. Apparently this is a misnomer about the Volvo proliferated by some that really haven’t spent time driving the car. It is quieter than the Audi A8. It is as much fun as the S4. Ours is fully loaded and I can confidently say it’s technology is and was years ahead of its time. The BLIS system works flawlessly. The lane departure is nearly flawless. The T6 3.0 AWD is quick. It will outrun just about anything on the road that isn’t a true sports vehicle. The Dynaudio Premium Audio is the BEST stereo we have ever had in a vehicle when connected to uncompressed music. And, we have had Bose, Harman Kardon, Bowers and Wilkins, and Lexicon stereos. The Volvo stereo is the best! Hands down, nothing compares. We average 27-29 MPG at 65-75 MPH on freeway and average 18-19 overall with city/freeway driving. The Volvo S80 T6 AWD is a steal on the preowned market if you are patient and wait for a good one.

2013 Volvo S80 review
I've had my S80 for almost 5 years. It has the Inscription package, which means virtually every option that was available for that model year is on the car, except for rear headrest DVD screens. I have had very little trouble with the car. It's quiet, comfortable, generates a lot of power from the 300 hp Turbo 6, and the safety features are almost unparalleled to this day. They include adaptive cruise, low speed crash mitigation, blind spot visual notification, a heads up warning display projected onto the windshield, etc. It still looks and drives like new, and runs on regular fuel. It also is in a discontinued color that everyone thinks is beautiful called "Ember Black," and the interior, which is amber and black "Sovereign" leather, also draws admiring comments. I think it could last as long as I chose to keep it. My wife has a 2011 XC60 and she feels the same way about her car.

2004 Volvo S80 review
I purchased my 2004 S80 used with 128,000 miles hoping it would last me a couple of years. That was in 2013 and it is still going strong with a few little old age quirks. The fabric is starting to pull away from the front passenger pillar by the windshield. The leather seats are worn, which is expected after 20 years of daily use. When the temperature is 35 degrees or lower it is stubborn starting, However, once it does (2nd to 3rd attempt) everything is good. I am slightly under 200k (197,779). Upkeep and repairs have included: Regular maintenance Replacement of 5 cylinders, although not at the same time. New radiator due to road construction mishap. (hit a good size pot-hole). Side mirror cover replacement because of theft. The S80 was not what I was looking for in 2013. The price was great and I took a chance. I am so glad I did. The car is not garage kept and there are not faded areas at all.

2013 Volvo S80 review
I currently own 2 Volvo's. My wife drives a 2014 S60 and I drive a 2013 S80. Both vehicles have by far exceeded all expectations. And the best part is Volvo covers all scheduled maintenance for 4 years and in the 19 months we owned our vehicles after the maintenance agreement was expired it has been repair free with just scheduled oil changes and new wiper blades. I'm satisfied enough to never purchase another vehicle again.

2007 Volvo S80 review
My Volvo S80 is 2007, now as I am writing this review it is year 2020. Simple put, the best car ever made. I owned Mercedes, Toyota and Mazada. All fine cars but got rid of them within a year or two. This one I kept over a decade and has no plan to part with it. In these 13 years it only required oil change, new tires and scheduled service. Only just replaced battery last year. The newly redesigned Volvo has only V4. Better for the environment but just don’t feel the same.

2010 Volvo S80 review
Purchased my 2010 Volvo S80 used with 89k miles. I now have over 215k miles and the car has remained very reliable with only minor repairs required during my ownership. This was my first Volvo experience. Here are a couple things worth noting for those considering this vehicle. By far the most enjoyable vehicle I have owned for long distance driving. My fatigue is minimal when driving this car compared to others. The 3.2L engine is very smooth and powerful. 3,500lb towing capacity! I’ve been able to pull my 2k lb boat on multiple vacations over 1k miles with out issues. Parts are available at FCP Euro for a reasonable price if you are handy and can perform minor maintenance on your own. This has saved me significantly. I love the the premium sound system, seats and ride quality. After 215k miles, the car is still tight with little noise. Build quality is exceptional. I’ve enjoyed this car so much that I purchased a 2012 S80 T6 AWD recently. Having driven both, I’m indifferent from a commuting perspective on the extra hp. I find the 3.2 is more than adequate with torque and acceleration and returns on average 26mpg. The 2010 remains in the family and I have no doubt it will achieve 250k miles. Excellent work Volvo!

2012 Volvo S80 review
I bought a black 2012 s80 t6 platinum and inscription package with 126k miles about 2 months ago.we had a volvo in the 70s..a 340D..loved that car and any other make would not gsve saved my brothers life When he hit a pier head on with 4 buddies in the car. Anyways my S80 is a beautiful looking car...and as soon as i planted my butt in the heated lesther seats i sank into them with a sigh of pleasure Never have i sat in a car seat like these..certainly a comgortable throne fit for a king I tinted the windows and got 2 out of round rims fixed had volvo jet out the carbon deposits in engine. Replaced all filters and fluids and took her out on the highway and she performed like a purring cheetah with her 300 hp t6 engine she exploded with pace. I love the car and i hope it will be my last.i feel right at home in the car .everyone compliments me on it. ..it gets around 20/21 around town.and anout 26 to 37 on highway..i drove from nyc to lake placid and was falling asleep so i asked my wife to drive it just south of albany..i fell asleep quickly but woke up to a blizzard and my wife doing 85 mph..i flipped out abd told her how dangerous foung this was..she just looked at me with a smile and said.."its a fast car honey no one is passing me"..well my filipina wife ( who never drove in snow storm) says ..no one is passing us..i said please pullover and i would drive the rest of way..the car handles heavily on mountain bendy roads and as storm got heavier i switched to winter mode ( put into manual and drive in 3rd gear) the car stuck to the roaD like glue in the snow with all season radials..the car performed like a champ all trip..my love affair with the car continues and i just hope it last for ever...its the furst time a car ever actually made me feel happy..literally I hope the cost of maintenace wont be that bad and we keep on chugging along

2011 Volvo S80 review
Just purchased this S80 3.2l and have been driving it for a little under a month, including the 9 hour trip home from the lot I bought it from, which I was Abit nervous about doing in a used car with 177000km. So far I am very impressed. It's no race car, but having a family, I was not looking for one.. it's a 9 year old sedan, but still looks good and performs well. I spent close to a year researching many different makes and models. I wanted luxury and reliability without the costly trips to the mechanic ( German auto makers ) I also wanted something different that had character unlike the Japanese car makers. The S80 checked both boxes. I would have preferred the T6 awd version , but the ones in my price range all had well over 200 000kms. The interior is well layed out and simple to use. The only negative so far is the blind spot monitoring system. It dose not work at all when it rains. 10 - 11 hours of highway travel on 1 tank of gas is always a bonus. If you are worried about cost of ownership, find a good independent Volvo mechanic, and buy any parts online ( not from a dealership )

2010 Volvo S80 review
Owned my 2010 s80 t6 for 6 years and couldn't be more proud. The kinda car you get compliments of and ages like no other if you take care of the basic stuff. It's not a sports car but it can smoke so many newer vehicles out there that will put a smile on your face every time u drive it. It feels solid like a tank, wonderful ride, sound system is amazing, and it's definitely a reliable over built machine. Be obsessed with your maintenance, flush your transmission every 30k no matter what anyone says and this thing will take you to the moon.

We bought a vehicle at Lovering Volvo and having been out of state buyers we were pleased with the experience as we had no prior experience of knowledge of Lovering - we found the car thru online searches. The full experience was great and the amenities of registering the car at our home state DMV was awesome - the salesman - Thomas - was transparent and always returned calls as soon as possible. This is a rarity at some other dealerships. A smaller area of better transparency would be to provide more details about the service contracts at the time of purchase while in the finance managers office. Overall we are pleased with our experience at Lovering Volvo Concord, NH.

Car drives great, most comfortable seats I have ever had in a car. Interior quality is good and car has not broken down in 4 years and 80K miles. Have always been a Toyota person but I have been converted to a loyal Volvo owner.

I have own 14 of them since 1967. I started all 4 of my children in Volvos . Volvos have saved my and my sister's life at least once, as well as protecting my wife of 45 years when her Volvo was totaled as the result of a neighbor running a stop sign.

I got a great car -- 2015 model year, almost completely unblemished, pretty unbelievable how good the condition was, actually. And the price was reasonable and fair without any haggling -- in fact, I wanted to close the deal as soon as possible because I thought it was almost too good to be true. They let me both test drive the car and come back the next day to take it to a mechanic for an inspection. The only thing that I did not like is that they have a 3-mile limit to how far they will let you take a car for an independent mechanic's inspection. I would have preferred is that they let me take the car to my own mechanic, but, alas, mine is 5-6 miles away. Nonetheless, I was able to find a mechanic that is just down the street from Choice Auto and he seemed to do a decent inspection job. End result, I got a great car at a very reasonable price. There are some friendly staff, but just know that the sales manager (owner?) is somewhat reserved. Just get past the fact that he's reserved and understand that the price is the price (no haggling) and I think you'll serve yourself well by getting a good deal on a great car. I will easily consider going here for our next vehicle.

I love this car! It's sleek, reliable and comfortable! I hope it runs forever! It's too bad that this car isn't manufactured anymore. I only wish we would have bought the all wheel drive.
