Used Volvo S60 for sale near Union, NJ

I was reluctant on buying another S60 as my previous 2012 model had engine issues that led to engine failure at just 120,000 miles. However, with the 2017 model having a new engine and transmission setup, I decided to give it another shot. At 115,000 miles I haven’t experienced any mechanical issues of any sort. The performance is pretty great for the small 2.0 liter engine pumping 240 hp which pairs pretty well with the 8 speed automatic transmission sourced from Toyota. The interior is very beautiful with the real leather seats, however for 2017 it was definitely starting to age. The exterior design is absolutely immaculate, however at 7 years old it has started to experience paint chips leading to minor rust. I wouldn’t 100% blame the paint as rocks and road debris also contributed to this. The comfort in the seats is very amazing, however it’s not perfect as the cabin noise is louder than most other luxury cars. Overall I love this car and have been very pleased with its improved reliability.

S60 T6 R design with 3.0. First off, 205,000 miles on original engine and transmission. Do the basic maintenance and the car will reward you. Amazing acceleration and handling, in league with other sport coupes. Except, comfy seats and smooth on long drives and pretty quiet. This, for a fraction of an audi or bmw. Wish it had a manual. Wish Volvo would keep making a true sport coupe like this. If they still made these I would buy another. I love this car.

Purchased my xt4 in Dec…had been to two other dealers prior to coming to McGuire . Bob was my salesperson and made the chore of buying the car easy enough. I recently returned there because I had gotten two dings in my doors from lovely parking lot people . The service Dept helped me out there…what a great job on them..removed the dings and really you would never know they were ever. there. Kudos to this dealership.

Try the T8/Recharge Model. My 22 has averaged 90 mpg over my first 3000 miles. Has plenty of oomph when needed too, would definitely recommend.

This is my 3rd S60 and my 4th Volvo. I keep trying others, this time I test drove the Audi S5, and the Alfa Romeo Giula, but went back to the S60 once more. My wife drive the XC90. WE are definitely Volvo loyalist.

I got the 2012 s60 t5 used with 74000 miles on it. Had its for 2 years and I could never say enough good things about this car. By far the BEST car I've ever owned. As for its driving. OMG ! Everything about this vehicle is perfection the steering the handling gas mileage and after all this it saved my life in a horrific crash I love to have another one and won't be happy until I do. out of five stars it's easily 10

got a recall notice in the mail for my 2025 Volvo XC60 Ultra, scheduled an appointment, showed up for my appointment, I was done in Less than an Hour. That is why I purchased my Volvo at Kundert Volvo. They are dedicated in not only selling you a vehicle but making sure it is serviced in a timely, accurate manner.

After needing to replace my Infiniti Q40, I landed on the stylish Volvo S60. Coming from a 350bhp sports sedan, the S60 feels more like a smooth touring sedan rather than a performance machine—it’s a different breed, a more refined one. Comfort & Space At 6'1" and 240lbs, head clearance and shoulder width are non-negotiable for me when choosing a car. Many options, like the BMW 3 Series (which made me hit my head on entry/exit) and the Toyota Camry (too narrow in the shoulders), didn’t make the cut. The S60, however, offers ample leg and shoulder room, and the seats are incredibly comfortable. Performance The S60 is quick and smooth. My Infiniti was undeniably fast, and while the Volvo doesn’t compare in raw power, I never feel underwhelmed. It’s got enough pep to confidently pass traffic, and—based on experience—it’ll leave an X3 or X5 behind at the merge lane. 😄 Interior & Features The cabin design is sleek, luxurious, and built with high-quality materials. Everything feels solid, and the cupholders fit two large Owala or Yeti containers—something my Infiniti couldn’t manage. However, storage space is lacking; there’s no dedicated sunglass holder, and finding good spots for keys and wallets isn't ideal. Fuel Efficiency Fuel economy is impressive. Even with a heavy foot, I easily get 25mpg mixed, thanks to the mild hybrid setup. The power assist eliminates turbo lag, making acceleration smooth and responsive—while you won’t rival a true sports sedan, you won’t feel sluggish either. Driving Experience & Safety Highway cruising is effortless, and overtaking slow drivers is no problem. The self-driving functionality is excellent—on par with Subaru's Eyesight system, which outperforms Acura, Nissan/Infiniti, Toyota, and GM in my experience. Tech & Infotainment The Android Auto Operating System is sleek, and voice commands with "Hey Google" respond quickly. Google Maps, climate controls, and music apps like XM and Spotify work seamlessly. Unfortunately, it doesn’t cooperate with Waze or some other apps, which is disappointing. Apple CarPlay is available, but oddly, Android Auto isn't—a baffling omission. Supposedly, an update is already available, but my car won't update ITA so it requires a service center visit, so I’ll find out in about 9,000 miles when I take it in. A few frustrations: - No split-screen on the entertainment console—you must choose between the map or the radio, not both. - The gorgeous dash display will either show Google Maps with navigation or… nothing. Seems like a missed opportunity. - Heated seats aren’t standard, even in the Plus model. This car comes with a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, and air purification, yet somehow, no heated seats? - The phone app for remote start is quick and easy, but you can’t adjust climate settings, which is frustrating. Final thoughts: Overall, I really like this car—it’s smooth, comfortable, stylish, and incredibly safe. The price is competitive, making it more affordable than some standard sedans. Sadly, 2025 will be its last production year in the U.S., but since the engine and drivetrain match the V60 and XC60—and the model remains available overseas—parts availability shouldn’t be a concern.

I purchased my 2007 Passion Red Volvo S60 T5 in late July of 2018 after my 2014 Mazda3 5-door base model was rear ended at a stop light in June of 2018 and totaled. I will be using that car as a benchmark for comparison. Anyways, I needed a car fast that was cheap. All that I could afford were 100k mile Hyundai’s with the horsepower of a Kei car, or so I thought. Out of pure luck my Volvo to be was listed as a $5,900 pre-safety inspection back row sale at a local dealership 50mi away. No pictures were uploaded but I really didn’t have much to lose. When I got there the car instantly caught my eye- A vivid red and sporty red sedan silhouette sat confidently upon beautiful 17” chrome “Tucana” rims. Besides a bit of cosmetic damage to the front bumper and passenger mirror, the car was in nearly perfect condition. The T5 is a higher level trim below the infamous S60r. Quite rare nowadays. After test driving it I instantly knew it was the car I would be purchasing. Not only is the car almost fully loaded, but it’s 256bhp propells the 3,500lb Swedish tank to illegal speeds much more quickly than my 155hp Mazda3. The interior is very aesthetically pleasing, albeit cheap plastic trim does detract from the overall experience. Gobi leather seats are magnificently comfortable, and the front ones had the advantage of being heated in the Volvo I now own. It also came with automatic & active bending Xenon headlights, headlight washers, auto-sensing rain wipers, 4C active suspension, aluminum interior trim, memory and power front seats w/lumbar, Homelink, an Auto-dimming rear view mirror, rear windshield defroster, power & heated side mirrors, fog lights, dual zone climate control, and an automatic climate option. After 11 years and 44,500 original miles the A/C was ice cold, the electronics worked perfectly, the interior was nearly immaculate, and the car could really move. A real deal for $5,900. The dealer ended up keeping the car for a week so it could replace the brake pads, tires, and rear sway bar links (which were back ordered and installed later). I have since put nearly 6,000 miles on it after 5 and 1/2 months of ownership. Here are my unbiased and completely honest impressions. The first thing you notice when driving this thing is that it is a luxurious boat. You literally feel like you’re operating an unathletic boat while city driving. The turning radius was among the worst in the industry at the time and still is. If you were previously a good driver prepare to become a bad one. This is certainly NOT a driver’s car. Despite its sporty appearance and appeal, this car’s only sporty attribute is its quick (not fast) 0-60 plagued by turbo-lag. From a stop this car starts slow then the power just comes all at once. In contrast driving at highway speeds and accelerating is a different and dangerously fun pleasure. Due to this car having a fwd design, torque steer is very obvious but controllable. The car’s heavy 3,500 curb weight is very much evident in its driving dynamics. Compared to my former 2,800lb Mazda it handles terribly and with little precision. The Volvo’s steering is unrefined, responsive for all the wrong reasons, and overall invokes a lack of confidence when cornering. The body roll certainly doesn’t help this matter. Now the suspension of this car is very confused. It can be very smooth, but the slightest bump has the potential to cause miata level harshness. Very strange. The comfort setting in the 4C chassis settings is my preferred option. The sport setting is a bit better for cornering and well not much else besides feeling the harshness of the road. The 5 cylinder engine isn’t very smooth and will actually cause slight vibrations in the car. It’s exhaust note is pretty unique! This car has a load of features for its time. A dial on left turn stalk switches between the plentiful and appreciated driver information located to the left of the gage cluster. Instantaneous mpg, average mpg, miles until empty tank, average speed, all very nice to know. A button on the end of the same stalk controls the messages function. Basically the little info screen in the gage cluster reads error codes from the car’s computer when prompted, “you have 1 messages”. If the computer detects an error while driving the info screen will display the error text along with a yellow (mild-moderate risk) caution symbol or a red caution symbol (high-risk). It is a brilliant and awesome feature.

Rented a 2022 S 60 in Orlando. Adequate power, but not close to its potential. Looks great. Fairly comfortable. We achieved an indicated 29.7 mpg Highway. At 65 mph. Looks great in black
