2011 Volvo S80 review
Just purchased this S80 3.2l and have been driving it for a little under a month, including the 9 hour trip home from the lot I bought it from, which I was Abit nervous about doing in a used car with 177000km. So far I am very impressed. It's no race car, but having a family, I was not looking for one.. it's a 9 year old sedan, but still looks good and performs well. I spent close to a year researching many different makes and models. I wanted luxury and reliability without the costly trips to the mechanic ( German auto makers ) I also wanted something different that had character unlike the Japanese car makers. The S80 checked both boxes. I would have preferred the T6 awd version , but the ones in my price range all had well over 200 000kms. The interior is well layed out and simple to use. The only negative so far is the blind spot monitoring system. It dose not work at all when it rains. 10 - 11 hours of highway travel on 1 tank of gas is always a bonus. If you are worried about cost of ownership, find a good independent Volvo mechanic, and buy any parts online ( not from a dealership )

2011 Volvo S80 review
I love this car! It's sleek, reliable and comfortable! I hope it runs forever! It's too bad that this car isn't manufactured anymore. I only wish we would have bought the all wheel drive.

2007 Volvo S80 review
My Volvo S80 is 2007, now as I am writing this review it is year 2020. Simple put, the best car ever made. I owned Mercedes, Toyota and Mazada. All fine cars but got rid of them within a year or two. This one I kept over a decade and has no plan to part with it. In these 13 years it only required oil change, new tires and scheduled service. Only just replaced battery last year. The newly redesigned Volvo has only V4. Better for the environment but just don’t feel the same.
