Great performance - turbo/supercharge T6 - perfect comfort balanced with very good handling - just the right amount of space - very good technology. Very sad they discontinued it. S90 too big and costly. S60 not quite big enough.

The S80 is an underrated. luxury sedan. It provides a solid comfortable ride with convenient controls. The rear seats fold down to allow a roomy space for large cargo.

I bought an LX 570 from out of state, and I had an excellent experience. Vinny was my salesman, and he was very helpful throughout the process. After the sale, they noticed a dent on the hood when the vehicle was getting loaded up to ship to me. They contacted me to apologize that they had not noticed it before, and they told me to get it fixed and it would be on them! I had not even asked about dents! When I got the LX it was beautiful. However, I noticed that the owner's manual was missing. When I contacted Vinny, he said they would get one shipped out to me. In short, excellent service, even after the sale. I would definitely buy from them again.

Absolutely love this car. Sleek styling, luxurious wood trim interior, seats made in heaven, this car is excellent for long trips. Engine has plenty of go. Only draw back is the fuel mileage, if that's a buying point for you, stay away. 21 mpg on a good day.

I've owned 3 Volvos before this one & drove each 1mto around 150K moles or more without any (repeat: ANY) mechanical problems of any kind. My new S80 now has 24K miles & is the best one yet. It gets 37+ mpg on the road, 24+ mpg around town is comfortable to ride in and an easy delight to drive. Volvo & it's dealers really take care of you & are also delightful to deal with. I can afford whatever car I choose but for almost 50 years it's been nothing but Volvos. I've never been disappointed.

I had an outstanding experience purchasing a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe from Leiken Motors. Purchasing a used car is not always a great experience, but everything about this was top notch. I messaged through the website and promptly got a response from Alicia to set up an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment only a few hours later, my salesman Frank Waite was already familiarized with my car. Since they do not carry Hyundai, he was not previously familiar but he took the time to get to know the car so that he could point out the many cool features that it has. The finance manager Ty was polite and friendly. Best of all was that they had a cool computerized system for filling out of the paperwork so there were not dozens of paper forms to hand sign. It was all point and click on a unique monitor built in to the top of the desk. I also got follow up from the team after the purchase to make sure that I was happy with everything.

I bought a black 2012 s80 t6 platinum and inscription package with 126k miles about 2 months ago.we had a volvo in the 70s..a 340D..loved that car and any other make would not gsve saved my brothers life When he hit a pier head on with 4 buddies in the car. Anyways my S80 is a beautiful looking car...and as soon as i planted my butt in the heated lesther seats i sank into them with a sigh of pleasure Never have i sat in a car seat like these..certainly a comgortable throne fit for a king I tinted the windows and got 2 out of round rims fixed had volvo jet out the carbon deposits in engine. Replaced all filters and fluids and took her out on the highway and she performed like a purring cheetah with her 300 hp t6 engine she exploded with pace. I love the car and i hope it will be my last.i feel right at home in the car .everyone compliments me on it. ..it gets around 20/21 around town.and anout 26 to 37 on highway..i drove from nyc to lake placid and was falling asleep so i asked my wife to drive it just south of albany..i fell asleep quickly but woke up to a blizzard and my wife doing 85 mph..i flipped out abd told her how dangerous foung this was..she just looked at me with a smile and said.."its a fast car honey no one is passing me"..well my filipina wife ( who never drove in snow storm) says ..no one is passing us..i said please pullover and i would drive the rest of way..the car handles heavily on mountain bendy roads and as storm got heavier i switched to winter mode ( put into manual and drive in 3rd gear) the car stuck to the roaD like glue in the snow with all season radials..the car performed like a champ all trip..my love affair with the car continues and i just hope it last for ever...its the furst time a car ever actually made me feel happy..literally I hope the cost of maintenace wont be that bad and we keep on chugging along

My Volvo S80 is 2007, now as I am writing this review it is year 2020. Simple put, the best car ever made. I owned Mercedes, Toyota and Mazada. All fine cars but got rid of them within a year or two. This one I kept over a decade and has no plan to part with it. In these 13 years it only required oil change, new tires and scheduled service. Only just replaced battery last year. The newly redesigned Volvo has only V4. Better for the environment but just don’t feel the same.

Owner is informative, honest, reliable, listens (helps you get what you are looking for but many options), very competitive prices, goes above and beyond to make your car buying experience as comfortable for you! After driving this car for two years. I am really happy to drive such a luxurious car. So many options. I felt the engineering comfortable. Seating comfortable and breaking, balancing is very well. I drove 3000 miles in 10 days alone without any issue. Runs great with premium gas. You can drive with confident. Very good electrical options like seat heating-Side mirror heat. Back seat head rest control. Back seat AC control. Drawbacks: Engine heats much because it is 6 cyl Parts are expensive but durable All mechanics can not do repairs Coolant is very specific its from Germany..

Just purchased this S80 3.2l and have been driving it for a little under a month, including the 9 hour trip home from the lot I bought it from, which I was Abit nervous about doing in a used car with 177000km. So far I am very impressed. It's no race car, but having a family, I was not looking for one.. it's a 9 year old sedan, but still looks good and performs well. I spent close to a year researching many different makes and models. I wanted luxury and reliability without the costly trips to the mechanic ( German auto makers ) I also wanted something different that had character unlike the Japanese car makers. The S80 checked both boxes. I would have preferred the T6 awd version , but the ones in my price range all had well over 200 000kms. The interior is well layed out and simple to use. The only negative so far is the blind spot monitoring system. It dose not work at all when it rains. 10 - 11 hours of highway travel on 1 tank of gas is always a bonus. If you are worried about cost of ownership, find a good independent Volvo mechanic, and buy any parts online ( not from a dealership )

MB E350 4Matic And other high line over the years We know what a good comfortable, insanely equipped, sporty, well made, reliable, fun, and classy sedan is. The Volvo S80 T6 AWD is our favorite vehicle of every car we have owned. I can’t understand any reviews where there is any reference to the Volvo S80 T6 not be sporty, well handling, fun, and stuck to the road. Apparently this is a misnomer about the Volvo proliferated by some that really haven’t spent time driving the car. It is quieter than the Audi A8. It is as much fun as the S4. Ours is fully loaded and I can confidently say it’s technology is and was years ahead of its time. The BLIS system works flawlessly. The lane departure is nearly flawless. The T6 3.0 AWD is quick. It will outrun just about anything on the road that isn’t a true sports vehicle. The Dynaudio Premium Audio is the BEST stereo we have ever had in a vehicle when connected to uncompressed music. And, we have had Bose, Harman Kardon, Bowers and Wilkins, and Lexicon stereos. The Volvo stereo is the best! Hands down, nothing compares. We average 27-29 MPG at 65-75 MPH on freeway and average 18-19 overall with city/freeway driving. The Volvo S80 T6 AWD is a steal on the preowned market if you are patient and wait for a good one.

This is my second Volvo S80 and the are far and away the most comfortable cars that I have ever driven. My 1999 performs well in all weather conditions and is super smooth on the road. I now have over 200,000 miles on my Volvo and it is showing no signs of stopping! The gas capacity and mileage is impressive. I like the quality of the leather and wood grains on the interior too. I would highly recommend this car to a friend. One of the best used cars under $10,000 that you can buy today!
