Fair people to deal with. I had a good experience with Bridgewater Acura. I can recommend them to anyone looking for a good performance car. I am very pleased with my Camaro 2SS.

This is my 2nd XC40 and it is one of the most perfect cars but its by no means cheap. The car can be as loaded as its bigger brother, except for heads up display. They all use the same engines, with the exception of turbo types, and bi-turbo options. All Volvos are moving to mild hybrid as standard and all 2023 XC40's are now mild hybrids. The XC40 is nimble, loaded and well designed. It has just about every feature including all wheel drive, Google auto, panoramic sunroof, power tail gate, and leather seats, redesigned for 2023. It is stylish, detailed and not meant to feel like the entry model. In fact, it can cost more than its bigger brother the XC60! Driving it is a pleasure as it is preppy and confident.

After narrowing our choice down to a Volvo (I was replacing an Audi - and I had 2 Volvos in the past), I reached out to a few dealers. After only a month, I am truly "in love" with my XC-40. I wanted to get one a few years ago. However, Covid-19 got in the way. When it was finally time to upgrade this year, I did it and have not regretted it. Great ride, all the safety features I wanted, excellent ride and handling , above EPA rated fuel economy, roomy seating. Plenty of room for my golf equipment.

Great commuter car. Adaptive cruise control is better than most. Good mpg. Very attractive. Agile and good is small spaces ( city driving ). Base sound system should have more power.

A great car. It checked most of the boxes that I had when looking for cars at the time. I ponied up for the Polestar software upgrade and wow did that make a difference. A few reviews had said that the car was underpowered. Not any more. There are some great details and some strange ones too, but overall it's one of my favorite vehicles. Like any car these days, there are a few niggling things that Vovo can't seem to fix. The hood doesn't seem to fit correctly no matter what Vovo did. It "bangs" when you lean against it (cleaning the windscreen, etc) and when the car is jolted (potholes, etc). No amount of work seems to properly address the issue. It's 2.5 years and I've been through a set (2) batteries (main and stop/start). It is now giving me the feeling that the main battery is failing again. The stop/start has not worked consistently since I got the car. Vovo tells me I don't drive it enough to keep the battery charged. Well, I do 5 to 6K a year and if that's not enough they should say so up front. Seems to me that there is something up (or down) with the charging system. Again, I'm impressed.

And the XC40 did not disappoint. I'm approaching my first year of ownership and comfortably say it is the best vehicle I've ever owned. With near seamless adaptable cruise control making multiple long-haul road trips as effortless as driving across town, my Volvo makes me want to drive it anywhere. Stylistically, it's a bit frustrating to now see every car on the road racing to copy its black-roof aggression, but I still get looks from folks who want to know if "that's a Volvo?" Of particular note is how the interior eschewed the trend of tacking on a giant tablet screen, opting instead for a generous dash-embedded interface that is comprehensive, intuitive and instantly responsive. I also love the app-driven features like remote start and customer temperature. The reputation for reliability is well-earned and validated. In summary, the prospect of this car one day needing to be replaced fills me with anxiety because I want to drive it forever. Well done, Volve.

Perfecr for a couple or small family. Downsized from an XC60 because I didn't need a big SUV. Has the same power. Not sorry I did.

Head Light control can not be seen on the column at night. Stock tires were horrible. I switched to yokohama's. The rims design in terrible. There is a space behind the spokes which allows for dirt and brake dust to build up. Difficult to give a finished look when detailing. Plus I can't use the GPS. NOT convenient to communicate with. Engine noise is disturbing. Biggest thing is the TPM. Would prefer it to actually read the psi of each tire. Raises your anxiety not knowing the true pressure.

I would like to take the time to recognize the sales manager "Danny" who turned a very unpleasant sales situation from one sales rep. to going above and beyond to make sure I was treated with respect and like a valued customer when the final purchase was all said and done. Not only did he apologize & remedy what was wrong, he followed up with new policy & procedures so that this doesn't happen again in the future. He made and kept his promises of having my new car sparkling with a big red bow when I came to pick it up after the previous sales rep, dropped the ball on the whole customer experience. He remained in contact to make sure all things associated with getting my car ready were implemented, which was truly appreciated. Love the tech in this car. Maps, adaptive cruise, auto high beam, lane warning, hybrid averaging 31 mpg. Still good power with the turbo. Excellent sound including the Bluetooth.

This review is about the purchase of a "Volvo Certified Pre-Owned" car. Bridgewater had listed a 4-year-old XC60 on cars.com that was a good match at a fair price. A phone call with sales consultant John Maxton convinced me to put down a deposit; the following week, we made the 3-hour drive to complete the sale. In this case, the confidence I'd come to feel in John was well placed. Regarding the Certified Pre-Owned program: Volvo Cars USA guaranteed that all of the XC60's components were functioning properly. In our case, the manufacturer's warranty is running for another six months, a welcome surprise. In the end, we added a Volvo extended warranty to the purchase... not cheap, but a better deal than the competing aftermarket offers we'd investigated. It will (hopefully) be a while until the next car purchase, but I'll gladly make the drive to Bridgewater again.
