2019 Volvo XC60 Recharge Plug-In Hybrid review
So far so good. Plenty of power and comfort. I am enjoying the electric/hybrid part far more than I anticipated. It may not corner like my S90 did but it’s not too far behind!

I wanted a car which would keep me safe, let me carry stuff, and be economical. The battery is big enough to allow me to do all my local trips without using gas and I typically only travel further a couple of times a week, so I average well over 50 mpg. 2018 Volvo XC60 Recharge Plug-In Hybrid review
I needed a car as my son was taking mine to move to another state. This checked all boxes. So far I'm loving it! It is beautiful, comfortable, rides very nice. The only option I didn't get was the B&W. I'm not an audiophile. I did test drive the 2020 with it. Frankly, I think the standard stereo is very good. This was a big concern prior to purchase, but I'm not at all disappointed. I wanted the air suspension as we travel to Sedona and places like this and I wanted the clearance. We have a Jeep for real stuff, but I like the ability to get out of a jam. Also, it makes the ride of the larger tires smoother I think.

I am enjoying this car. I like that I have both electric and gas options. We use the car for long trips especially when the baby is traveling. My Great Dane is also a fan of the car.

2024 Volvo XC60 Recharge Plug-In Hybrid review
The car has really nice performance and drives very nicely but a few quirks. First the manuals are only available digitally and in many cases it’s a complex game to find what you are looking for. The search function is not forgiving. In other cases the information is weak and missing key elements. Some settings are sticky (rain sensor for the wipers), others are not ( auto high-beams), with no rationale. The controls on the left side of the steering wheel are a mystery and the customization on the dash board view is either: show the map or don’t show the map ( which disappears when you shift into reverse). The sound controls for the radio are lacking: no fader or balance controls. Lastly, if you want your garage door opener controls integrated into the car, be prepared to shell out another $995.
