Never had any major problems with the car. Mostly software problems but they were quickly fixed with a restart/reset of the system. The ride is bery comfortable and on long drives a pleasure to sit it. The place this car has is huge and every passenger has largly enough space. The car is slightly underpowered for such a heavy tank (only 235PS) but is still enough to have a comfortable ride (low RPMs) on the highway. I average 37-33mpg which gives me about 700 miles of range and if you’re not in a hurry and drive about 50-60mph you can even go up to 900 miles on the highway (I drive the mild-hybrid). I feel also safe driving it, thanks to all the assistants it has and the safety-history.

Elgin Hyundai is a team that treats those who walk in like people, not customers. They aren’t trying to get you for the most money or a commission, they genuinely want to help. My wife and I’s one car broke down a week before Christmas. We needed something that we could afford and be reliable for her to get to work and for us to run errands. Great awesome cars in every aspect, comfort, performance, handling, smoothness, features, reliability (not in some models though) and especially safety. You get the best bang for your buck in Volvos. Only thing I would say is to stay away from the XC90 T6 (petrol engines) from 2015 - 2016. (Not sure if 2017 has these problems, as I havnt experienced anything from the 2017 models) I sell many of these Volvos But the petrol XC90s T6 from 2015 - 2016 are very unreliable because of being the first year of these models when they first came out. Had many experiences with failing superchargers ($4k to fix ) evaporator failing ($5k to fix) and also these engines have a known fault that the pistons don’t inbed in properly in some of the engines and it burns massive amount of oil. (Did a test in a customers car, was burning about 2L of oil every 1000km) Also comes with a few hiccups here and there with coolant leaks, and oil leaks etc. I’ve never had a problem with the XC90 D5 (diesel engines) as they seems much better because they don’t have the engines failing or a supercharger in these models. This have the failing evaporator but this item was the least part failing out of everything I mentioned. I hope this information has helped out some people who are deciding to purchase a Volvo 😊

Let me start off by saying JOHN (in service) is the real deal. He is the only reason I would come back to BMW & Elmhurst. Every encounter I had at this dealership he made it feel like my car was fresh off the showroom floor. His professionalism & attitude was great even when mine may not have been. Once again when I buy my next BMW and it will be at Elmhurst BMW, it will be because of John and sorry salesman I’m dealing with John on that purchase even if he is in service!!!!!!!!

We have owned various cars in past to include Chevrolet (Monte Carlo), Cadillac’s Deville/Eldorado), BMW’s (740i/740IL) and Volvo’s (240/244/V70) and now 2018 Volvo SUV XC90 T5. So far the XC90 out performs all of them with respect to comfort, ride, safety features and even gas economy is very good for size/weight of vehicle. Only draw back is premium gas required for this car but I have used mid range on/off and no noticeable loss of performance. Also most people that have seen our XC 90 make positive comments on color, wheels, interior, storage space, etc. Also purchased the T5 model with 7 seats for the family and three grandkids. Excellent SUV for the past 4 yrs (35k road miles). Recently purchased an Endurance extended warranty to 133k/5 yrs. We expect to drive this SUV like other Volvo’s 150k miles or more.

T6 106k miles, replaced Brake pads, spark plugs, and one to engine mount. Everything works! Amazing auto pilot up to 80mph lifetime avg 21.3 MPG mixed driving, regular gas! Quiet, blast T6, super comfortable seats, active safety! I cant think of anything better. Stay away from T5

I purchased a 96 Caprice from this dealer.....buying experience was top notch. They answered all of my many questions about the car, negotiated price with me and had the car delivered in record time. The vehicle arrived in an enclosed trailer, was clean and ran perfectly. There were no issues with the car that I found. Normal wear and tear for a 21 year old car but very clean and taken care of. This car is phenomenal the only complaint are the ongoing mains costs. I believe they could b reduced so more folks could take advantage of a great car.

I purchased my 2009 Volvo XC90 last year to serve the purpose of a comfortable commuter car, and considering I payed next to nothing for the vehicle itself, my expectations weren't too high. However, after only owning the vehicle for a very short time, I found myself thoroughly impressed with the car. It became apparent to me that Volvo built their cars with a different mindset then their german rivals, as none of the features that my Volvo was equipped with were revolutionary for the time: heated seats, automatic climate, rear seat entertainment, etc. All very nice options to have, but they could be just as easily had on an X5. However, getting behind the driver's seat of the Volvo is completely different from a BMW or Audi, as the car feels just as heavy as it is. Rather than trying to mask the weight of the car, Volvo chose the path of embracing it - and it worked. Driving the XC90 is like driving a comfortable, leather-lined tank: it's confidence inspiring not in terms of speed, but road presence. To sum it up, I would absolutely recommend the XC90 to anyone in the market for a quality used SUV, as Swedish engineering proved itself to be a pleasant surprise to a German-biased individual such as myself.

This is our 7th new car purchase so we have had good and horrible experiences. I’m happy to say that this was a wonderful experience. John Vangilder, our sales specialist was excellent throughout everything. Even the Finance Manger, Preet C., was excellent. It’s one of the few times we truly love our new car and we feel good about the actual purchase. It will make the monthly payments less painful. But seriously, I can’t thank them enough.

Ziegler Land Rover steals buyers money and cars. They sell new vehicles to you and then negligently deliver this to someone else with no any proper documentation. When you request your car or money back they simply kick you out declaring that deal is done. Then they steal your sales tax money and they try to register the stolen vehicle on your name. General manager and new cars sales manager are making at you telling to go to the insurance company. But there is no any insurance because the vehicle wears never delivered. Do not buy any cars from this fat cockroach. They are thief.

I truly can not say enough good things about my new 2022 Volvo XC90 T6. I have admired the Volvo SUVs from afar as a minivan mom for 15 years and this was my year to make the move. No turning back; it is sporty, classy, comfortable, safe, I could go on forever. Classic black and dark brown interior. The info center takes a bit to get used to and it seems like there are features everywhere so definitely just hop on you tube to figure them all out at your own pace because the sales person will tell you, but no way you can get them all down. One of my ultimate favorites are the rotating fog lights. As you turn the lights turn with your vehicle. Lane assist is not for me; I've been driving too long to have it as it seems overbearing. 360 camera and all of the warnings are great though because you never know who is barreling down through the parking lot. Narrowed it to the 2023 Honda Pilot and 2022 MDX Technology; got tired of waiting on the Pilot and frankly it was a bit too big and the MDX just didn't have the sporty look I wanted. I feel like with the Volvo I got it all!
