I bought this car in 2013 with less than 10K miles on it (certified pre-owned at the now closed Volvo dealer in Thousand Oaks, CA). I love this car, but I'm so glad I bought the maintenance contract along with the extended warranty. It has never let me down or had to be towed but it has had more than its fair share of warranty repairs. The suspension had some major issues but that may have been due to the poor quality roads and streets in Los Angeles. I will most likely be driving my C70 Volvo for many more years as I have no intention of ever selling it.

This is my second C70, 1st one was a 2002 that I gave to my daughter, it was still going strong, and looked great too, at 176k miles, when it was side swiped by a truck in a parking lot.

This is my second Volvo C70, the last one I bought is the T5 Polestar Engineered with only 35.000 miles on the counter. The first C70 I swapped with my Mustang convertible. This is the best car I have ever driven! Every time we go to France the holiday starts with the beginning of the journey! It drives smooth, not the fastest car but just enough and it cruises likes it's made for it!

Recently purchased 2008 C70 T-5 with only 51K miles from 1st Choice Auto in Fairfax VA. Excellent condition, very tight engine and on-road performance. Turbo acceleration is great. Excellent Carfax. No accident and interior is a 9.5/10. Top rises and closes perfectly and car is built like a brick with ROPS (roll-over protection). Hard to find these 2008-13 C70s with low mileage (and without accidents.) Curated purchase by First Choice Auto from a new dealer on a trade-in made all the difference.

car looks and drives like an expensive road car. The hardtop makes it a coupe in the winter or on colder and rainy days . The Hardtop folds into the roof in seconds and drives like a dream. Smooth from start to stop. I wish the drivers seat would go back another few inches as I'm 6'3" and just make it . Dash , leather seats , sound system and ease with controls are all first class. Not a rocket off the line but it has the push you back in the seat power. Best highway cruiser i've ever driven

I bought my 2012 C70 in Platinum trim back in December 2011. I also got the 10 year extended warranty and it had first 5 years of maintenance included. As of May 2024 the car still looks great, runs amazing and should go for at least 100K more miles. I did get the Polestar turn about 2 years ago and have done regular maintenance. Over the first 10 years the car had a few standard issues along with a couple of sensors but nothing major. The extended plan covered everything and All I have had to do is the timing belt and water pump out of pocket. Great hard top convertible that is a keeper...

This has been one of the most fun cars I’ve ever owned. All year round convertible hard top. Drives fine in snow with front wheel drive and traction control. Great in summer with Quick button operated top is on or off in a minute or less!

The car wouldn't accept gas Bob told me to take it to their mechanics their mechanics found some stuff that was wrong with it and Bob took care of me as I was his own family. I read the previous reviews carefully and was concerned since I was planning on flying from South Carolina to pick up a vehicle of the year and make I had been looking for. I worked primarily with Dave, he was honest and forthright on the condition of the truck. He even took extra photos of some dents the listing might not have shown. The price was very good, and though I wanted it for less, they were willing to negotiate, so we both got a good deal. Nate, the owner was easy to work with and walked me through Oregon DMV procedures since I was from South Carolina. Everything was straightforward and above board. Dave even picked me up from the airport. Nate offered to assist me with the title should there be problems with Oregon DMV processing the new title. All in all...a very good transaction. I drove the truck 2400 miles in 3 days and had absolutely NO PROBLEMS (1998 Toyota Tacoma). I would recommend this dealership if they have what you're looking for.

I love this car but when I bought a pre-owned and certified Volvo I soon had trouble with the retractable top. Specifically, when I brought the top back up, it automatically brings the too back up, followed by the windows. One window didn?t fully go up all the way. I have since taken it to a volve dealer who supposedly had fixed it. Now I am having the same issue again less than a year later. I don?t drive this convertible very much, so it isn?t a matter of the top being ?worn-out?. At least that is how I saw it on only a 4 year car.

This car is exceptionally well engineered. The T5 motor has a strong powerband and is torquey enough to pull strong from low rpms. Front seats are very comfortable, back seats are small, but will acommode an adult. Fun to drive, safe reliable, a great premium convertible
