Purchased a 2008 Cadillac SRX and everything went super smooth. No pressure to buy warranty or anything else. Recently I received a check in the mail for accidental overcharges, I was none the wiser on that. Beware of the trolls that trash this dealership they are super honest.

This car, which was purchased as a second car, made me change a 17 years relationship with another make and switch to an XC60 as a primary car, which is also excellent. And the dealership, Weston Volvo, is also excellent, not only at sales people, but mainly service.

Jay Kadlec was a great salesman in helping me get a Subaru Forester at a good price. Very responsive and down to earth. Not at all your typical car salesman. I felt very comfortable with him and the way the dealership is run.

I bought my 2012 C70 in Platinum trim back in December 2011. I also got the 10 year extended warranty and it had first 5 years of maintenance included. As of May 2024 the car still looks great, runs amazing and should go for at least 100K more miles. I did get the Polestar turn about 2 years ago and have done regular maintenance. Over the first 10 years the car had a few standard issues along with a couple of sensors but nothing major. The extended plan covered everything and All I have had to do is the timing belt and water pump out of pocket. Great hard top convertible that is a keeper...

So -what's it like 14 years later (and 48K miles)? A quick background - this is my wife's car, we live in Florida, and it's garaged. Pros - It's still a very good looking car and turns heads. It's been very reliable mechanically. It has not been expensive to maintain. It is very comfortable, and roomy for all 4 passengers. The car gets up to speed quickly, and passing power is exceptional. Maintenance is easy, a reasonably skilled home mechanic can change the oil, plugs, brakes, flush antifreeze, replace lightbulbs. Cons - Interior wood trim (We have a package that included wood insets on the steering wheel) is very flimsy and has delaminated, crumbled over the years. Dealer replaced steering wheel and console trim once at no charge - No such luck at this point and the wood fell off the wheel, and the console has begun to crack again. Requires premium fuel. Leather shows wear and has required constant upkeep (cleaning and conditioning) since new (we have the gray "granite" interior). Top is VERY noisy as it goes up and down (and has always been). Silly things break - the courtesy lights on the doors and the washer nozzles in the hood (more than once for each). Comments on interior design score - buttons for windows are too small as are the interior door handles, and they are very shiny (chromed?) and on hot days can be brutal. Knob for vehicle information isn't labeled, you just turn and find what you want. Winter transmission mode button in a bad spot (easy to turn on by accident) Final thoughts - Top is still in good condition, we had to have the rear window "re-attached" about 5 years ago but it is still holding and they did an excellent job. It is showing some wear where the tonneau cover closes on it. Wish that the seat positions could be tied into the remotes like other cars we have owned, and that the mirrors were linked to that memory. Trunk space very limited. Overall - never regretted the purchase and still happy owners. Lots of them on the used market, we've looked at some for our children that are now graduating high school. Recommend that if you buy a car like this - keep all maintenance up to date and use quality fluids - we have friends that purchased the same car that did not have the same luck that we have had, none have been as sensitive to upkeep as we have. Don't let that scare you away; these are solid, well-made vehicles that are a pleasure to drive.

This has been one of the most fun cars I’ve ever owned. All year round convertible hard top. Drives fine in snow with front wheel drive and traction control. Great in summer with Quick button operated top is on or off in a minute or less!

Living in the Carolinas we get a lot of warm weather. This is my second C70 (the first was a 2008). I love these cars. My only regret is that they stopped making them. It features a smooth but responsive ride, quiet ride (even with the top down), and plenty of get up and go.

I bought this car in 2013 with less than 10K miles on it (certified pre-owned at the now closed Volvo dealer in Thousand Oaks, CA). I love this car, but I'm so glad I bought the maintenance contract along with the extended warranty. It has never let me down or had to be towed but it has had more than its fair share of warranty repairs. The suspension had some major issues but that may have been due to the poor quality roads and streets in Los Angeles. I will most likely be driving my C70 Volvo for many more years as I have no intention of ever selling it.

I love this car but when I bought a pre-owned and certified Volvo I soon had trouble with the retractable top. Specifically, when I brought the top back up, it automatically brings the too back up, followed by the windows. One window didn?t fully go up all the way. I have since taken it to a volve dealer who supposedly had fixed it. Now I am having the same issue again less than a year later. I don?t drive this convertible very much, so it isn?t a matter of the top being ?worn-out?. At least that is how I saw it on only a 4 year car.

This car is exceptionally well engineered. The T5 motor has a strong powerband and is torquey enough to pull strong from low rpms. Front seats are very comfortable, back seats are small, but will acommode an adult. Fun to drive, safe reliable, a great premium convertible

Recently purchased 2008 C70 T-5 with only 51K miles from 1st Choice Auto in Fairfax VA. Excellent condition, very tight engine and on-road performance. Turbo acceleration is great. Excellent Carfax. No accident and interior is a 9.5/10. Top rises and closes perfectly and car is built like a brick with ROPS (roll-over protection). Hard to find these 2008-13 C70s with low mileage (and without accidents.) Curated purchase by First Choice Auto from a new dealer on a trade-in made all the difference.

This is my second Volvo C70, the last one I bought is the T5 Polestar Engineered with only 35.000 miles on the counter. The first C70 I swapped with my Mustang convertible. This is the best car I have ever driven! Every time we go to France the holiday starts with the beginning of the journey! It drives smooth, not the fastest car but just enough and it cruises likes it's made for it!

I wish they would start making these again, great form factor, well designed and well made. Electronics are a bit dated but the vehicle is a winner.

car looks and drives like an expensive road car. The hardtop makes it a coupe in the winter or on colder and rainy days . The Hardtop folds into the roof in seconds and drives like a dream. Smooth from start to stop. I wish the drivers seat would go back another few inches as I'm 6'3" and just make it . Dash , leather seats , sound system and ease with controls are all first class. Not a rocket off the line but it has the push you back in the seat power. Best highway cruiser i've ever driven
