I bought this car used at a very good price. It is luxurious and I really prefer the height to the s60 I had before, living in the country with harsh winters. Very nice to drive even with a firmer feel. We also have an XC70 which is a great car for long-distance travel. So many features are standard and the upgraded sound system is wonderful.

My 2020 Volvo S90 Inscription came loaded with every available option and I had the dealership install the Polestar software increasing the horsepower and tightening the suspension making this car an absolute joy to drive. The S90 replaced my 4-year old S550 and trumps the Benz in just about every category with the exception of price, perceived status, and cost of ownership and this is coming from someone who has owned no fewer than 19 M-B’s including 11 S and SL class. The S90 seems to be a rare bird and a well-kept secret as I see so few of them in Connecticut. I set out to purchase the new Genesis and even test drove a new 7-series, but when the dust settled, the S90 offered everything that I was looking for in a full size sedan with absolutely no compromise. No one can rival the comfort of a Volvo seat and when paired with the concert level Bowers and Wilkins sound system often finds me taking the long route home. It’s that nice!

Rochester was a huge disappointment when the fast talking pressure type manager got involved, we walked away. Nu Car in Tilton wouldn't honor their posted price on Auto Trader and no mention of the dealer incentive, just their version of MSRP.

Amazing experience. I'd recommend anyone looking for a car to try CarMax first... There's zero pressure, tons of beautiful vehicles, and just an all around great place. This car's reaching it's tenth birthday in the coming year, and has definitely earned itself a good reputation in reliability, to a point. Had to have the engine rebuilt at around 100k due to a recognized flaw where the seals around the pistons (one, in my case) would shave off the side of the inner piston chamber wall. Volvo was good about it, and rebuilt it for free, but I have heard about this being an issue with a percentage (although a small percentage) of 2015 S60's. If you own a 2015.5 S60, you should be okay (released at the half-year, they changed something in their engine design so this no longer happens). The 2015 model I own is a T-5 Drive-E, but even then the engines feel strong, and the acceleration is amazing given the engine downgrade for better mileage. Pros - Smooth, quiet, fast ride - Platinum package still makes this car shine given how far infotainment systems have come in 9 years - Takes 87 gas - Cold-oriented heating options. I lived in New Hampshire most of my life, and this thing took snow and ice like a champ. Good to know Volvo durability hasn't disappeared. Never failed to start, and the electric defrost option was a Godsend. - iPod/iPhone USB slot. Honestly wish this was in modern cars. You can play music from your iPhone (or iPod if you're a person of culture) as soon as you can hook it up to the charging port. Also charges your phone. Neutrals - Nav system. Pretty basic, but once you get good with the voice commands, is amazing. Other than that you have to put in addresses with one of the DIALS on the dashboard, which is lower than T9 typing. - Auto Climate setting. This is just more goofy than anything. You'll press it thinking it will slowly acclimate based on outside temps and engine warm-up and all sorts of things. No, it hilariously just turns your AC on max. Not even mad, its just super funny to think about. Cons - Start/Stop button. I don't care how much gas I "save", when you turn an engine off and on in any instance, you're wearing down parts faster. - No oil dipstick. Have to rely on electronically checking it, which has shown me close to max for the last few months, which I doubt. - Backseat legroom. It's not horrible if you're used to small sedans, and especially if you're used to super compact cars. - Turn radius. Holy crap do not invest in this car if you like parking somewhere (well) in a single turn. This thing parks like a grizzly bear with a saddle on it---mostly forwards and backs. Maybe I just prioritize good parking too much, but I don't like looking like that one guy in the Walmart parking lot who's content with 45 degree angles. The backup cam makes this not as much of an issue. All in all, a promising Volvo. Lacks the issues of the newer models, while looking pretty modern. If possible, I'd suggest trying to find a trim level higher than the default, but any trim level will be reliable. My biggest takeaway and suggestion for this would be to regularly maintain it. Get your oil changed regularly, keep your engine bay clean, invest in high-quality tires, and don't put 93 ethanol gas in for fun. It should last you as long as it did me.

When I purchased my Volvo from another dealership (first Volvo), I knew that Lovering was going to be my home base, purely for convenience. At that point I did not have a relationship with either Volvo dealership. Boy has that changed in a very short time! Lovering Volvo has gone above and beyond each time I have had a visit. Whether they were updating my system, changing my oil or recently fixing (and finding a larger problem) with an error code they have gone above and beyond to give outstanding customer service. Had a 2014 Honda Sport and decided I to try a luxury car that wouldn't break the budget, so bought the cheapest used Volvo S60. It's great. It's extremely comfortable (with very adjustable seats), the sound system is outstanding, it handles turns really well, is nice and quiet, is really nice looking without being flashy, and it's touchscreen features are very easy to use especially with voice control. I live in a city, so one reason I chose it is because I read that Volvo's are not popular among thieves. Another reason I chose it is that my two friends who have Volvo's (XC models) swear by them, and one is 6'4" with a bad back.

I was reluctant on buying another S60 as my previous 2012 model had engine issues that led to engine failure at just 120,000 miles. However, with the 2017 model having a new engine and transmission setup, I decided to give it another shot. At 115,000 miles I haven’t experienced any mechanical issues of any sort. The performance is pretty great for the small 2.0 liter engine pumping 240 hp which pairs pretty well with the 8 speed automatic transmission sourced from Toyota. The interior is very beautiful with the real leather seats, however for 2017 it was definitely starting to age. The exterior design is absolutely immaculate, however at 7 years old it has started to experience paint chips leading to minor rust. I wouldn’t 100% blame the paint as rocks and road debris also contributed to this. The comfort in the seats is very amazing, however it’s not perfect as the cabin noise is louder than most other luxury cars. Overall I love this car and have been very pleased with its improved reliability.

I bought a black 2012 s80 t6 platinum and inscription package with 126k miles about 2 months ago.we had a volvo in the 70s..a 340D..loved that car and any other make would not gsve saved my brothers life When he hit a pier head on with 4 buddies in the car. Anyways my S80 is a beautiful looking car...and as soon as i planted my butt in the heated lesther seats i sank into them with a sigh of pleasure Never have i sat in a car seat like these..certainly a comgortable throne fit for a king I tinted the windows and got 2 out of round rims fixed had volvo jet out the carbon deposits in engine. Replaced all filters and fluids and took her out on the highway and she performed like a purring cheetah with her 300 hp t6 engine she exploded with pace. I love the car and i hope it will be my last.i feel right at home in the car .everyone compliments me on it. ..it gets around 20/21 around town.and anout 26 to 37 on highway..i drove from nyc to lake placid and was falling asleep so i asked my wife to drive it just south of albany..i fell asleep quickly but woke up to a blizzard and my wife doing 85 mph..i flipped out abd told her how dangerous foung this was..she just looked at me with a smile and said.."its a fast car honey no one is passing me"..well my filipina wife ( who never drove in snow storm) says ..no one is passing us..i said please pullover and i would drive the rest of way..the car handles heavily on mountain bendy roads and as storm got heavier i switched to winter mode ( put into manual and drive in 3rd gear) the car stuck to the roaD like glue in the snow with all season radials..the car performed like a champ all trip..my love affair with the car continues and i just hope it last for ever...its the furst time a car ever actually made me feel happy..literally I hope the cost of maintenace wont be that bad and we keep on chugging along

After needing to replace my Infiniti Q40, I landed on the stylish Volvo S60. Coming from a 350bhp sports sedan, the S60 feels more like a smooth touring sedan rather than a performance machine—it’s a different breed, a more refined one. Comfort & Space At 6'1" and 240lbs, head clearance and shoulder width are non-negotiable for me when choosing a car. Many options, like the BMW 3 Series (which made me hit my head on entry/exit) and the Toyota Camry (too narrow in the shoulders), didn’t make the cut. The S60, however, offers ample leg and shoulder room, and the seats are incredibly comfortable. Performance The S60 is quick and smooth. My Infiniti was undeniably fast, and while the Volvo doesn’t compare in raw power, I never feel underwhelmed. It’s got enough pep to confidently pass traffic, and—based on experience—it’ll leave an X3 or X5 behind at the merge lane. 😄 Interior & Features The cabin design is sleek, luxurious, and built with high-quality materials. Everything feels solid, and the cupholders fit two large Owala or Yeti containers—something my Infiniti couldn’t manage. However, storage space is lacking; there’s no dedicated sunglass holder, and finding good spots for keys and wallets isn't ideal. Fuel Efficiency Fuel economy is impressive. Even with a heavy foot, I easily get 25mpg mixed, thanks to the mild hybrid setup. The power assist eliminates turbo lag, making acceleration smooth and responsive—while you won’t rival a true sports sedan, you won’t feel sluggish either. Driving Experience & Safety Highway cruising is effortless, and overtaking slow drivers is no problem. The self-driving functionality is excellent—on par with Subaru's Eyesight system, which outperforms Acura, Nissan/Infiniti, Toyota, and GM in my experience. Tech & Infotainment The Android Auto Operating System is sleek, and voice commands with "Hey Google" respond quickly. Google Maps, climate controls, and music apps like XM and Spotify work seamlessly. Unfortunately, it doesn’t cooperate with Waze or some other apps, which is disappointing. Apple CarPlay is available, but oddly, Android Auto isn't—a baffling omission. Supposedly, an update is already available, but my car won't update ITA so it requires a service center visit, so I’ll find out in about 9,000 miles when I take it in. A few frustrations: - No split-screen on the entertainment console—you must choose between the map or the radio, not both. - The gorgeous dash display will either show Google Maps with navigation or… nothing. Seems like a missed opportunity. - Heated seats aren’t standard, even in the Plus model. This car comes with a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, and air purification, yet somehow, no heated seats? - The phone app for remote start is quick and easy, but you can’t adjust climate settings, which is frustrating. Final thoughts: Overall, I really like this car—it’s smooth, comfortable, stylish, and incredibly safe. The price is competitive, making it more affordable than some standard sedans. Sadly, 2025 will be its last production year in the U.S., but since the engine and drivetrain match the V60 and XC60—and the model remains available overseas—parts availability shouldn’t be a concern.

I love my 2015 S60. I have driven it for four years, bought it 3 years old. It has 80k miles and has never had anything break! Reliable, looks good and comfortable. No repairs other than brakes, tires, and regular maintenance. I love the sound system and the turbo never lets me down.

First Volvo I have owned and I love it, it is the best car I have owned. I previously had Mercedes and BMW, this beats both hands down in looks, equipment and performance. I went for the Ultimate trim level, the dealership had a Plus and the Ultimate available. The plus is great, but the Ultimate has so much more, HUD, 360 degree camera etc. Touches like the fog lights activating at night when you turn the wheel so whichever direction you're turning has extra lighting and the headlight washers that pop up out of the bumper to help keep your lights bright just add to the overall feeling of quality. The exterior styling is striking, and in storm grey with the bright finish it catches the eye and gets compliments on looks. Mine has the Polestar engineering extra which makes performance very entertaining, I have yet to put it in Polestar mode (sport mode) but in normal mode this thing takes off like a rocket.
