The car itself is excellent, however I have a hard time getting in and out mainly getting my right knee past the steering column. Another issue I have is that I also drive a few other vehicles regularly and they all have the Tach on the left on the speedometer to the right where as this Volvo has the Speedometer to the left with the Tach to the right. Doesn't sound like a big deal but as I'm driving and glance down I find myself glancing at the tach first. The 3rd item is I have big wide feet and the gas pedal and brake pedal are closer than most and I find myself stepping on the brake and gas with my right foot at the same time.

My Volvo S80 is 2007, now as I am writing this review it is year 2020. Simple put, the best car ever made. I owned Mercedes, Toyota and Mazada. All fine cars but got rid of them within a year or two. This one I kept over a decade and has no plan to part with it. In these 13 years it only required oil change, new tires and scheduled service. Only just replaced battery last year. The newly redesigned Volvo has only V4. Better for the environment but just don’t feel the same.

I’m a small business owner myself, so knowing that customer service means is absolutely everything, I can say without hesitation, that Volvo Cars Carlsbad has been the best car buying experience my wife and I have ever had. Not only did they make the sales process easy and hassle-free, they explained everything to us thoroughly and worked HARD to accommodate our budget and very specific needs. I was shocked that Volvo Financial was able to beat our local credit union’s APR. The financing process was handled smoother and faster than anything I’ve experienced in past with dealerships. Olin, our sales rep, even showed up with my 4 year old daughter’s favorite stuffy buckled in to the front seat when she left it at the dealership. Look, I may have gone into way too much detail with this review, but my experience was truly extraordinary with Volvo Carlsbad. It’s why we went from a Lexus and a Mercedes household to a 2 Volvo household in two weeks time. If you’re looking to buy a Volvo in San Diego or Orange counties, make the trip out to Volvo Carlsbad, you will not be disappointed.

Had a 2014 Honda Sport and decided I to try a luxury car that wouldn't break the budget, so bought the cheapest used Volvo S60. It's great. It's extremely comfortable (with very adjustable seats), the sound system is outstanding, it handles turns really well, is nice and quiet, is really nice looking without being flashy, and it's touchscreen features are very easy to use especially with voice control. I live in a city, so one reason I chose it is because I read that Volvo's are not popular among thieves. Another reason I chose it is that my two friends who have Volvo's (XC models) swear by them, and one is 6'4" with a bad back.
