Alright, so the service this dealership offers is absolutely unbelievable. From the sales manager, Lance, on down. I’m a small business owner myself, so knowing that customer service means is absolutely everything, I can say without hesitation, that Volvo Cars Carlsbad has been the best car buying experience my wife and I have ever had. Not only did they make the sales process easy and hassle-free, they explained everything to us thoroughly and worked HARD to accommodate our budget and very specific needs. I was shocked that Volvo Financial was able to beat our local credit union’s APR. The financing process was handled smoother and faster than anything I’ve experienced in past with dealerships. Thats a testament to these guys being absolute pros, knowing the system they’re working within, and the contracts they execute. Not only was it a quick experience, but they thoroughly explained every step along the way. We never, even slightly felt like we were being “sold.” The cherry on top of the cake was that they made not one, but two trips to our home when we left things at the dealership. We live in Escondido, so that’s a long trip across the 78 in rush hour traffic. Olin, our sales rep, even showed up with my 4 year old daughter’s favorite stuffy buckled in to the front seat when she left it at the dealership. To this day, she says to me “daddy, do you remember that nice man who sold you your car?” Yep, that means a lot to her and to me. Look, I may have gone into way too much detail with this review, but my experience was truly extraordinary with Volvo Carlsbad. It’s why we went from a Lexus and a Mercedes household to a 2 Volvo household in two weeks time. Had a 2014 Honda Sport and decided I to try a luxury car that wouldn't break the budget, so bought the cheapest used Volvo S60. It's great. It's extremely comfortable (with very adjustable seats), the sound system is outstanding, it handles turns really well, is nice and quiet, is really nice looking without being flashy, and it's touchscreen features are very easy to use especially with voice control. I live in a city, so one reason I chose it is because I read that Volvo's are not popular among thieves. Another reason I chose it is that my two friends who have Volvo's (XC models) swear by them, and one is 6'4" with a bad back.
