They had people come in and was wanting it.But they still held it. I wish they would negotiate on the price. But I got it at a good price. The car was in top shape and the interior is awesome. I have driven Volvos for a very long time. My 2002 V70XC was my absolute favorite. I just donated it. My first impression was the dealer and I went with one closest to my home. My big mistake. THE CAR - for an SUV the seats sit very low and are not very adjustable. The gear shift functionality is very difficult to get used to - and all the alarms. Being a mechanical engineer, I liked, no, loved the older Volvos for their functionality and interior space. The XC60 has very little cargo space. There are too many bells and whistles you need to QR scan the visor for the manual! The mpg are pitiful - I am getting maybe 15 mpg, with little pick up- the 4 liter engine is not as good as the predecessors. I was worried about the no "cold weather package" - all volvos anywhere have the same battery and the sales guy had no idea what cold cranking meant. HOWEVER, I must say when we had an ice storm and the car was a solid piece of ice the doors opened and the car started right up. BUT it did take 30 minutes + to warm up the windshield to get rid of the ice. AND my hands were so cold trying to scrape the ice off - they were too cold for the display to read my touch! The sales rep was so proud of the heated windshield wipers (?) -I prefer being able to raise the wipers during a snow storm. Here you have to put the wipers in maintenance mode and then move them out. Too many steps to get basics done (and have warm hands). I also can't stand the smudged touch screen from all the swiping and touching. Just looks dirty. BTW don't buy accessories from the dealer. I wanted rails for the top and they were asking $800 list but I could get them for $500. You can buy them from amazon or Volvo direct for $200. It's a Volvo and I have high expectations. I think it is an expensive car and I have not owned it long enough to determine value.

Never had any major problems with the car. Mostly software problems but they were quickly fixed with a restart/reset of the system. The ride is bery comfortable and on long drives a pleasure to sit it. The place this car has is huge and every passenger has largly enough space. The car is slightly underpowered for such a heavy tank (only 235PS) but is still enough to have a comfortable ride (low RPMs) on the highway. I average 37-33mpg which gives me about 700 miles of range and if you’re not in a hurry and drive about 50-60mph you can even go up to 900 miles on the highway (I drive the mild-hybrid). I feel also safe driving it, thanks to all the assistants it has and the safety-history.

I've bought several cars throughout my life and this dealership was the most laid back, non pushy, quick paced most efficient dealership I've ever dealt with. Shawn was amazing and patient. Never asked for anything extra (more of a down payment) like other salesmen have in the past. He was so patient and allowed me to take the car across town to show and talk with my husband prior to buying ( even went extra because I missed the exit :)...) I loved my XC90 but traded it due to the cost of fuel. I drive 40 miles a day roundtrip to work. I would easily go through a tank of gas in four days. Best mileage I ever got was about 22 highway. The XC90 is a heavy SUV and shaped like a block. Not a lot of aerodynamics. As for comfort and luxury you can't go wrong the XC 90 is pure luxury and has great pickup and handling. Just be aware the mileage is not good.

The advisors are always courteous and diligent. I trust them with the technical details of my vehicle and they follow through every service item to completion. They provide excellent customer service with complete transparency throughout the process in order to achieve complete customer satisfaction. Their focus was on the customer's best interests and they were very helpful in the most difficult of circumstances. My car has to be taken for service a long way from my work, but they are always prompt in scheduling my appointment and getting me on the road. This car has blown me away. It has all the bells and whistles I wanted and drive like butter! The color is perfect and the rims are bomb! The interior is clean, and very well taken care of.

The dealership is excellent, the staff very attentive. I had a great experience. They give full pricing up front with no hidden fees; none of the "dealership, manager's new boat, owner's third vacation home fees." While this is nice for transparency, it does make it difficult if you are someone who wants to negotiate your price. The staff were very low pressure, making for a pleasant experience.

This is my 2nd XC40 and it is one of the most perfect cars but its by no means cheap. The car can be as loaded as its bigger brother, except for heads up display. They all use the same engines, with the exception of turbo types, and bi-turbo options. All Volvos are moving to mild hybrid as standard and all 2023 XC40's are now mild hybrids. The XC40 is nimble, loaded and well designed. It has just about every feature including all wheel drive, Google auto, panoramic sunroof, power tail gate, and leather seats, redesigned for 2023. It is stylish, detailed and not meant to feel like the entry model. In fact, it can cost more than its bigger brother the XC60! Driving it is a pleasure as it is preppy and confident.

Bought a new car today and it was the smoothest experience I've ever had doing so. Jake was in communication with me from the time the car was on the truck on its way to the dealership, notified me when it arrived, and was patient with us throughout our test driving the car for over an hour. Then he took care of all the financing while I was at work so all I had to do was show up and sign. If they have the car you want (or can get the car you want), I wouldn't hesitate to give them a chance.

Great commuter car. Adaptive cruise control is better than most. Good mpg. Very attractive. Agile and good is small spaces ( city driving ). Base sound system should have more power.

Buying my new car was a relatively quick and painless experience which I appreciate. Tyson helped me when I first called and we saw the process to the end. The only thing that I will say about the dealership is that it is cramped, not a lot of space to park and cars are sort of crammed. As well as when I got my car, I was told it had been detailed, but there was still dust on the inside and the car mats were full of dirt in the trunk. I think I got what I wanted although the car had many scratches that I had overlooked.

After only a month, I am truly "in love" with my XC-40. I wanted to get one a few years ago. However, Covid-19 got in the way. When it was finally time to upgrade this year, I did it and have not regretted it. Great ride, all the safety features I wanted, excellent ride and handling , above EPA rated fuel economy, roomy seating. Plenty of room for my golf equipment.

A great car. It checked most of the boxes that I had when looking for cars at the time. I ponied up for the Polestar software upgrade and wow did that make a difference. A few reviews had said that the car was underpowered. Not any more. There are some great details and some strange ones too, but overall it's one of my favorite vehicles. Like any car these days, there are a few niggling things that Vovo can't seem to fix. The hood doesn't seem to fit correctly no matter what Vovo did. It "bangs" when you lean against it (cleaning the windscreen, etc) and when the car is jolted (potholes, etc). No amount of work seems to properly address the issue. It's 2.5 years and I've been through a set (2) batteries (main and stop/start). It is now giving me the feeling that the main battery is failing again. The stop/start has not worked consistently since I got the car. Vovo tells me I don't drive it enough to keep the battery charged. Well, I do 5 to 6K a year and if that's not enough they should say so up front. Seems to me that there is something up (or down) with the charging system. Again, I'm impressed.

I got it from IDEAL AUTO a few months ago, as the gas price is tooo high, and installed a charging pile in my home, so I can use electricity within 70 kilometers every day. If I go beyond the distance occasionally, I will not feel anxious about charging. I can walk whenever I want.
