On September 18, 2023, I purchased a new 2024 Volvo and am happy that I chose to do business with Patrick Volvo in Schaumburg, Illinois. Because she was not pushy (I appreciated that very much), I chose to accept Belen’s assistance throughout the buying process. I have been pleased with the experience so far. Being able to test drive independently for pretty much as long as I want is great. I have easily made appointments and then added on some additional cars once I got there. The no haggle pricing takes away some stress, but that also means if there is something to be fixed on a car, there's no negotiation. They have at least offered me what I consider is reasonable for my trade - more than most places have. I am taking a car for a prepurchase inspection to my mechanic tomorrow, so if it goes well, we'll see how the actual buying process goes after that.

This is my first Volvo and although it took a while to get familiar with the controls, I love it! The side and rearview mirrors, warning sounds and lights have taken care of blind spots that are usual in a larger SUV, and have prevented accidents. The ride is still so smooth after 3 years, I can easily read a book on long trips. The front and rear seat adjustments allow everyone to be comfortable. We are glad for the bumper to bumper 5 year coverage we bought at purchase, and they immediately fixed any minor problems we've had over the last 3 years.

Waited a long time to go from a 2010 to a 2020 XC60. There is no comparison to the fit, comfort, and digital experience. The stereo is outstanding. Like night and day. And I really like the older XC60!

Love the no pressure buying format, I didn’t end up buying the truck I went to look at but they put me in the perfect truck for me.

Never had any major problems with the car. Mostly software problems but they were quickly fixed with a restart/reset of the system. The ride is bery comfortable and on long drives a pleasure to sit it. The place this car has is huge and every passenger has largly enough space. The car is slightly underpowered for such a heavy tank (only 235PS) but is still enough to have a comfortable ride (low RPMs) on the highway. I average 37-33mpg which gives me about 700 miles of range and if you’re not in a hurry and drive about 50-60mph you can even go up to 900 miles on the highway (I drive the mild-hybrid). I feel also safe driving it, thanks to all the assistants it has and the safety-history.

Great car. I compare it with a high-end Mercedes that I own, Volvo is generally better built, more comfortable especially on extra long trips, quieter on the road, and intuitive in most use cases. The Bowers and Wilkins sound system is definitely superior to anything I’ve heard in high-end vehicles. The interior design is minimalistic, and the car lacks the prestige that comes with the price. From a reliability stand point, it has never put us down, and has almost completely overcome the early Goole system glitches.

My wife went in to buy a car alone, as I was out of state working. She worked with a salesman by the name of Mr. Jolly. He was amazing with her. He showed her the cars she wanted to look at, ran credit through the bank of our request and spent the necessary time it took to seal the deal. He was steadfast, helpful and attentive. I was please to meet Mr. Jolly and thank him personally when I came in a few days later to sign paperwork that she had already signed. She was happy and if mama is happy, I'm happy.

We have owned various cars in past to include Chevrolet (Monte Carlo), Cadillac’s Deville/Eldorado), BMW’s (740i/740IL) and Volvo’s (240/244/V70) and now 2018 Volvo SUV XC90 T5. So far the XC90 out performs all of them with respect to comfort, ride, safety features and even gas economy is very good for size/weight of vehicle. Only draw back is premium gas required for this car but I have used mid range on/off and no noticeable loss of performance. Also most people that have seen our XC 90 make positive comments on color, wheels, interior, storage space, etc. Also purchased the T5 model with 7 seats for the family and three grandkids. Excellent SUV for the past 4 yrs (35k road miles). Recently purchased an Endurance extended warranty to 133k/5 yrs. We expect to drive this SUV like other Volvo’s 150k miles or more.

From the beginning of my on-line purchase, Blake Harper walked me through purchase procedure, explaining every question that I had. Although my chosen Yukon was (in transit), Blake kept me updated on it's arrival. When I arrived at ROYAL, Blake met my wife and I as we drove up. After a short time in the office, we were given a complete introduction to all the features of the Yukon, we took a ride on the road with Blake in the passenger seat introducing all the driving features to us that were new to us. Blake Harper made my experience buying a new car easy. I financed part of it and was able to get a great interest rate. The application process was easy and took less than an hour to complete. Since I was trading in a car, I had to go home to get a few things that went with my trade-in. When I returned, they had washed, prepared, and filled my new car with gas. Everyone there was friendly and smiling. It's hard to believe they had the exact car, color, and accessories I wanted. Thus far, I am also pleased with the Buick Envista-Avenir. It's hard to believe that it has more hip room, leg room, and almost as much cargo space as my larger SUV, which I traded for it. It is quiet, rides very well, handles like a sports car, and gets impressive gas mileage. It's also easier for me to get in and out of it. I would call this a great trade!

Just purchased a new Telluride. James Myrick made the purchase quick and painless. Everyone I was involved with throughout the process was friendly and professional. This is my 2nd XC40 and it is one of the most perfect cars but its by no means cheap. The car can be as loaded as its bigger brother, except for heads up display. They all use the same engines, with the exception of turbo types, and bi-turbo options. All Volvos are moving to mild hybrid as standard and all 2023 XC40's are now mild hybrids. The XC40 is nimble, loaded and well designed. It has just about every feature including all wheel drive, Google auto, panoramic sunroof, power tail gate, and leather seats, redesigned for 2023. It is stylish, detailed and not meant to feel like the entry model. In fact, it can cost more than its bigger brother the XC60! Driving it is a pleasure as it is preppy and confident.

My partner wanted me to get a vehicle that availed itself of all the current self-driving and safety technologies currently on offer, and after much research, this is car I landed own. And the XC40 did not disappoint. I'm approaching my first year of ownership and comfortably say it is the best vehicle I've ever owned. With near seamless adaptable cruise control making multiple long-haul road trips as effortless as driving across town, my Volvo makes me want to drive it anywhere. Stylistically, it's a bit frustrating to now see every car on the road racing to copy its black-roof aggression, but I still get looks from folks who want to know if "that's a Volvo?" Of particular note is how the interior eschewed the trend of tacking on a giant tablet screen, opting instead for a generous dash-embedded interface that is comprehensive, intuitive and instantly responsive. I also love the app-driven features like remote start and customer temperature. The reputation for reliability is well-earned and validated. In summary, the prospect of this car one day needing to be replaced fills me with anxiety because I want to drive it forever. Well done, Volve.

That was my first time dealing with Donohoo. The experience was stress free. Went up and test drove one day, the next day which was purchase day, I was in and out on less than a hour.  I do plan to do business with Donohoo in the future. Jonathon and Marci were absolutely amazing!!

My Subaru Forester was ideal for the task at hand. Salesman Nick, Derrick in service, Ben in mechanics covered all necessary elements. This vehicle was absolutely reliable throughout a 3,000 mile drive through British Columbia to Alaska. The team of CarMax, Hoover AL were as accommodating as possible in preparation and the drive was successful.

Attractive styling both exterior and interior (for me). Bought a 2021 T-5 R design with Polestar enhanced performance package. It has been trouble free so far and handles and performs very well for a compact SUV. routine service dept. with Volvo has been excellent. Seats are comfortable and the interior space is surprisingly roomy. It took a little bit to get use to the tech, but I was coming from a Tundra, so it was to be expected. The only thing that is subpar is the Navigation system, but I understand that they have now contracted with google maps to provide this service. AWD makes me not worry about the weather. Terrific all around car!

This is 100% one of the best cars I’ve owned. Comparing it to my previously owned Acuras, Audis, BMWs, Buicks, Cadillacs, GMCs, Land Rover Range Rovers, Mercedes-Benzs, Porsches, Volkswagens, this is one of my top favorite vehicles for comfort, performance, technology, driving, etcetera. I 10/10 recommend.

They made everything so easy. Got the car I never knew I wanted and I love it. Don't plan on taking it in any time soon but I know where I'll be going when I do.

This is my fifth Volvo. My most important feature in any car is safety, and this car is SAFE. It is super comfortable, reliable, attractive, and an all around great car. I had XC70's until this XC90. It was tough to switch, but I'm so happy. My only disappointment is that I have two big dogs and they can't both fit in the way back comfortably, so I have a crate in the way back and a crate in the middle with two seats folded down (one up for a passenger). Otherwise, it's a "10." No issues at all at 4 years in.

This was my first time buying a vehicle out of state and 6 hours away. The communication from the sales team prior to showing up was top notch. I received a complete walkaround of the vehicle as I requested. The vehicle was as advertised and ready for a test drive when I showed up. A few signatures and I was out the door in a timely manner (not like other dealerships). After purchase follow up was appreciated. There was a minor issue and the staff at DonohooAuto responded immediately and handled it very professionally . I would 100% buy from here again.

After driving my previously owned vehicle for 13 years, I'm looking forward to learning more about my new Volvo XC40's performance and various functions. I plan on enjoying it.
