Great first experience with a Volvo. We were looking for car that could possibly be a single car that would suit our needs moving into retirement. This car appears to check all the boxes for safety, reliability, economy and luxury. We need a mid dive suv that will give us comfort on longer trips as well as the economy of the smaller 4 cylinder without compromising power as provided by the turbo. The warranty and manufacturers maintenance plan are a benefit as well.

This is 100% one of the best cars I’ve owned. Comparing it to my previously owned Acuras, Audis, BMWs, Buicks, Cadillacs, GMCs, Land Rover Range Rovers, Mercedes-Benzs, Porsches, Volkswagens, this is one of my top favorite vehicles for comfort, performance, technology, driving, etcetera. Rochester was a huge disappointment when the fast talking pressure type manager got involved, we walked away. Nu Car in Tilton wouldn't honor their posted price on Auto Trader and no mention of the dealer incentive, just their version of MSRP.

Hi I just got my 2023 Acura mdx type s from them. We have owned various cars in past to include Chevrolet (Monte Carlo), Cadillac’s Deville/Eldorado), BMW’s (740i/740IL) and Volvo’s (240/244/V70) and now 2018 Volvo SUV XC90 T5. So far the XC90 out performs all of them with respect to comfort, ride, safety features and even gas economy is very good for size/weight of vehicle. Only draw back is premium gas required for this car but I have used mid range on/off and no noticeable loss of performance. Also most people that have seen our XC 90 make positive comments on color, wheels, interior, storage space, etc. Also purchased the T5 model with 7 seats for the family and three grandkids. Excellent SUV for the past 4 yrs (35k road miles). Recently purchased an Endurance extended warranty to 133k/5 yrs. We expect to drive this SUV like other Volvo’s 150k miles or more.

We had a very positive low pressure experience at Audi Stratham. Our sales contact Kyle was very helpful and patient. We will certainly keep them in mind for future purchases.

Love this suv however when driving just a half hour the dash screen went black with a message “infotainment system cooling” restarted the car but no change. This had to be a recall but can’t find any info. Poor quality in an expensive car. Service department at dealer won’t answer their phone. Hoping they will call back

Worked with both MATTS they came to what I wanted for a payment. It was all done without going to dealership and that saved a lot of time. They were very professional, helpful and courteous though the whole process. The finance dept was smooth and explained all the paperwork for a fast transaction. I have driven Volvos for a very long time. My 2002 V70XC was my absolute favorite. I just donated it. My first impression was the dealer and I went with one closest to my home. My big mistake. THE CAR - for an SUV the seats sit very low and are not very adjustable. The gear shift functionality is very difficult to get used to - and all the alarms. Being a mechanical engineer, I liked, no, loved the older Volvos for their functionality and interior space. The XC60 has very little cargo space. There are too many bells and whistles you need to QR scan the visor for the manual! The mpg are pitiful - I am getting maybe 15 mpg, with little pick up- the 4 liter engine is not as good as the predecessors. I was worried about the no "cold weather package" - all volvos anywhere have the same battery and the sales guy had no idea what cold cranking meant. HOWEVER, I must say when we had an ice storm and the car was a solid piece of ice the doors opened and the car started right up. BUT it did take 30 minutes + to warm up the windshield to get rid of the ice. AND my hands were so cold trying to scrape the ice off - they were too cold for the display to read my touch! The sales rep was so proud of the heated windshield wipers (?) -I prefer being able to raise the wipers during a snow storm. Here you have to put the wipers in maintenance mode and then move them out. Too many steps to get basics done (and have warm hands). I also can't stand the smudged touch screen from all the swiping and touching. Just looks dirty. BTW don't buy accessories from the dealer. I wanted rails for the top and they were asking $800 list but I could get them for $500. You can buy them from amazon or Volvo direct for $200. It's a Volvo and I have high expectations. I think it is an expensive car and I have not owned it long enough to determine value.

Waited a long time to go from a 2010 to a 2020 XC60. There is no comparison to the fit, comfort, and digital experience. The stereo is outstanding. Like night and day. And I really like the older XC60!

Bought New, firsts 80,000 mile on the highway to NC, San Antonio, New Orleans, Memphis. Like being in my living room lazy boy. Sturdy ride. No major problems. Maintenance on schedule. On my second set of tires. Second set brakes. It's a highway vehicle for sure. Quick precise steering. It's a keeper so far. Two minor repairs. Brake pedal sensor. Can't remember the other thing.

The 2 salespeople I worked with Michelle and Jasmin(Jazz) were outstanding and a pleasure to work with Michelle went to incredible lengths to put me in touch with the car I was interested in. She answered all of my questions about costs, discounts, etc... and validated all of my concerns especially with the available financing options. Jazz was able to transfer all the information needed to make an absolutely incredible deal. I loved my conversations with Michelle and the stress free signing of the paperwork with Jazz. Their bringing the car to NH for registration was quick and easy and also a another great part of the car buying experience. I’ve always had Volvo sedans as my daily driver. Safe, reliable, and served me well. Two made it to 200,000 miles. We decided to get an SUV for road trips and this is an amazing vehicle. This is the most luxurious and most high tech Volvo I’ve owned. The safety features are amazing. The ride is so comfortable. It has more power as well. Gas mileage could be better - but it is an SUV. Totally satisfied so far. This may be the last car I own now that I’m retired and won’t be driving 20,000 miles a year.

I came to Village Motors to look at a car that was listed online at a very reasonable price. It wasn't exactly what I was looking for, and it was at the high end of my price range, but it was in excellent shape, super clean, had been reconditioned thoroughly, and it was a great value for the price, which was around the fair trade-in value. While I did eventually find and buy a car elsewhere that met all my criteria, I would have no hesitation buying a car from them in the future, and I would be confident sending friends and family to them as well. The sales staff is low pressure and very knowledgeable. I also got the sense that they would be an honest, reliable place for repairs.

Great awesome cars in every aspect, comfort, performance, handling, smoothness, features, reliability (not in some models though) and especially safety. You get the best bang for your buck in Volvos. Only thing I would say is to stay away from the XC90 T6 (petrol engines) from 2015 - 2016. (Not sure if 2017 has these problems, as I havnt experienced anything from the 2017 models) I sell many of these Volvos But the petrol XC90s T6 from 2015 - 2016 are very unreliable because of being the first year of these models when they first came out. Had many experiences with failing superchargers ($4k to fix ) evaporator failing ($5k to fix) and also these engines have a known fault that the pistons don’t inbed in properly in some of the engines and it burns massive amount of oil. (Did a test in a customers car, was burning about 2L of oil every 1000km) Also comes with a few hiccups here and there with coolant leaks, and oil leaks etc. I’ve never had a problem with the XC90 D5 (diesel engines) as they seems much better because they don’t have the engines failing or a supercharger in these models. This have the failing evaporator but this item was the least part failing out of everything I mentioned. I hope this information has helped out some people who are deciding to purchase a Volvo 😊
