Never had any major problems with the car. Mostly software problems but they were quickly fixed with a restart/reset of the system. The ride is bery comfortable and on long drives a pleasure to sit it. The place this car has is huge and every passenger has largly enough space. The car is slightly underpowered for such a heavy tank (only 235PS) but is still enough to have a comfortable ride (low RPMs) on the highway. I average 37-33mpg which gives me about 700 miles of range and if you’re not in a hurry and drive about 50-60mph you can even go up to 900 miles on the highway (I drive the mild-hybrid). I feel also safe driving it, thanks to all the assistants it has and the safety-history.

This is 100% one of the best cars I’ve owned. Comparing it to my previously owned Acuras, Audis, BMWs, Buicks, Cadillacs, GMCs, Land Rover Range Rovers, Mercedes-Benzs, Porsches, Volkswagens, this is one of my top favorite vehicles for comfort, performance, technology, driving, etcetera. This review is for Carrie Burrill. My wife and I just purchased a 2026 XC 40. The experience was outstanding with a very smooth process that was professional, detail oriented and thorough. I have purchased many cars over the years and typically have to spend countless hours going back and forth with the salesperson, salesmanager and even the GM. This time, it was just Carrie (she is sales and managment) and she was fair, honest and willing to meet me at a point that allowed both the dealership and myself to earn a solid transaction. No games, or creative spins, but rather just putting it together and making it work, quickly and easily. We picked up the car two days later, and everything went smooth. The delivery was perfect and Carrie even ensured that the app was installed on both our phones and working perfectly so we did not have to do anything other than enjoy driving the car home. If you want to buy a car without all the challenges of old school car sales, this dealership ran itself flawlessly and Carrie was the driving force. Love this suv however when driving just a half hour the dash screen went black with a message “infotainment system cooling” restarted the car but no change. This had to be a recall but can’t find any info. Poor quality in an expensive car. Service department at dealer won’t answer their phone. Hoping they will call back

This is my second XC 60 Volvo that I’ve purchased from Lisa. She is an awesome sales person. She has helped me consistently with both vehicles. This is my 2nd XC40 and it is one of the most perfect cars but its by no means cheap. The car can be as loaded as its bigger brother, except for heads up display. They all use the same engines, with the exception of turbo types, and bi-turbo options. All Volvos are moving to mild hybrid as standard and all 2023 XC40's are now mild hybrids. The XC40 is nimble, loaded and well designed. It has just about every feature including all wheel drive, Google auto, panoramic sunroof, power tail gate, and leather seats, redesigned for 2023. It is stylish, detailed and not meant to feel like the entry model. In fact, it can cost more than its bigger brother the XC60! Driving it is a pleasure as it is preppy and confident.

Waited a long time to go from a 2010 to a 2020 XC60. There is no comparison to the fit, comfort, and digital experience. The stereo is outstanding. Like night and day. And I really like the older XC60!
