We bought our 2022 Outlander sport GT in august of 2022… when we compared feature for feature with the other small crossovers, this was our favorite.. it looks nice , has plenty of power and is comfortable on long trips . We took it to the snowy range and it handled the mountains with ease. This is our first brand new car and we are “ seasoned citizens “ So the warranty was also a big selling point . We are super happy with it . Planning on this being tje last car we buy !! I am confident ot will last a long time !

This is a well-designed and solidly built car. It is just what we needed for road trips, recreation exploration and zipping around town. Plenty of room for the size we were looking for. The front console is a little busy, but this is our first Volvo so we just need to adapt to the new layout.

Purchased used S 5-speed manual with 33,000 miles on it about four years back. Just passed 100,000 miles last month. Only one problem so far, with the passenger door latch assembly. We get about 37 MPG mixed city and highway, and 45-50 MPG in interstate highway driving. FWD and snow tires work fine here in Wisconsin. The turbo motor and 5-speed provide all of the acceleration one will *actually* need, and also provide those great economy numbers. As part of the Golf platform, it's a solid car and the handling is good. The ride comfort is also good, maybe enhanced by the taller 16" tires on the S version. Simple controls, without an overly complicated radio / info system. Manual ventilation controls (knobs) are a huge plus. With the rear seats down, it has about the same cargo space as our 2009 Subaru Outback: little narrower but also a little longer. Good outward visibility. Driver seat can get a little tiring after a long drive (4 hours or more) but it's comparable with other highway vehicles we've owned. Reasonably quiet inside considering it's essentially an economy vehicle. A very nice economy vehicle, though. We like it enough that we're considering getting another one before there are no more good wagons in the market.

The front seats are awful, I'll never understand why GM decided to save $20 in exchange for a terrible reputation. The headrests are bent forward so that slacker drivers who don't want to sit up and pay attention won't hurt their necks in an accident. The infotainment system was programmed by an imbecile who REALLY wants you to listen to the radio. POP-UP ADS ON RADIOS SHOULD BE OUTLAWED. The rear cargo area has no anchors or tie-down loops.. pretty absurd on a $30,000 car. Putting this grocery getter on a set of 17 inch rims was possibly the dumbest trendy thing ever, it rides like a 90s Honda Civic with the springs cut. Fortunately the majority of these things can be pretty easily fixed. Get a set of 15-in rims off of a Chevy Sonic and put 215/65r15s on it to massively improve the ride comfort, straighten the headrest legs with a vise or a sledgehammer, put some elastomeric cushions underneath the stock seat foam, get some round tie down anchors off Amazon, the round ones fit perfectly in the circular indentions in the rear cargo area and grab the spare donut out of a Buick Encore in the junkyard, it fits perfectly under the subfloor. I solved all these problems in a weekend once I gathered up the tools and parts. There's nothing special about the bolt, everything everyone likes about it applies to every electric vehicle but the bolt does have one big advantage over everything else, availability. It's more widely available than any other EV, especially one in this price range. I would definitely buy the car again, no regrets.

I just looked at a truck at Economy Auto sales and spoke with Eric. Eric was exceptionally professional and easy to talk to. He was very helpful answering my questions. When he couldn't answer one of my more technical questions he got right on the phone to a Toyota dealership and found the answer. Eric is also Dog friendly. There was absolutly no pressure to buy. I made an offer but we could not come to a number that worked for both of us. Eric seems very honest and I appreciated that. Neither one of us wanted to rip off the other. I understand he has money invested in the truck and I have a budget to work within. I would highly recommend at least visiting and checking out Economy Auto and Eric. Hassle free and low stress. A pleasure to work with even if I could not afford the truck I wanted.

I've always loved the look and feel of a Toyota Highlander. But I never thought I could afford one. I found my Highlander at Alton Toyota, Alton, Il. and fell in love. I asked about the price and I couldn't believe it was right in my price range. I test drove it and it was love at first drive. Everyone from the Sales-person, finance and even the Technicians. were friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. They even went above and beyond making sure I got the best loan that fit me. I love my highlander and just got back from Myrtle Beach SC, driving round trip. It is so fun to drive and all the room is unbelievable. I have found nothing wrong with it. It actually gets MORE miles per charge than advertised. The front seats are a bit harder than I would have made them, however the back seat is super comfortable. My wife drives it and makes optimizing economy a game. She seems quite good at it, since our efficiency keeps climbing.

This car meets all my needs. After driving the Kia Sorento, Toyota RAV4, Chevy equinox and several others, the Chevy Bolt EV was by far the best value for my money. Right from the test drive the vehicle felt very smooth. It’s solidly built, and very quiet. Don’t let it’s looks deceive you, this car is is spacious. It's just the right size, has very comfortable seats and is loaded with technology! What makes it even better is I don’t have to worry about gas prices. I've had my 2019 Bolt Premier for a month now and it's really a clever little vehicle. Nimble and fun to drive with lots of room (can fit two mt bikes in the back). Coming from a VW GTI I expected the Bolt to be a substantial step down, but it's not. Granted the GTI is leagues ahead in both interior and exterior build quality, but the Bolt is no slouch in terms of what a fun-sized EV hatch should be. With a low center of gravity, loads of "O" torque and a decent suspension, the Bolt doesn't embarrass itself while performing it's appointed tasks around town. Sure, the steering could benefit from taking a communications class and the brakes are less than linier but the single pedal driving dynamic is outstanding (I could seriously go on for a while regarding how intuitive the one pedal regen system is on the Bolt, kudos to GM for their work on this feature). The rest of the gripes about the Bolt (plastic interior, uncomfortable front seats, low res screens, odd styling) I think miss the mark regarding the sum of it's parts. At the end of the day, does the Bolt deliver a satisfying experience and leave you with a smile? Absolutely!

This 2017 Chevy Bolt EV was all that we were looking for and more. The regenerative braking and the great torque of the electric motor are really nice. And we will save $1000 a year in reduced gas versus power costs, and reduced maintenance (since there are a lot fewer parts). We are very happy with our purchased.

I love driving this car! It is fast and efficient. I love the one-pedal braking and seldom have to use the brake pedal. It also has a hand brake on the left side of the steering wheel that is a great accessory. The car looks small, but there is ample room for 4 adults. The storage in the back is limited, but plenty of space for our needs. We can also put two suitcases in that space. If it is just the two of us, we can drop the back seat and create more than enough space for all the luggage we would need on a long trip. The torque is outstanding and is great to have entering a freeway or passing another vehicle. The visibility around and behind the car is the best I think I've ever had in a car. No maintenance other than tire rotations and we have solar panels at our house, so I haven't paid for gasoline (or electricity) in over 3 years. The only negative is long distance driving and that will soon be solved when the Tesla Supercharging Station adapters will be available for GM cars in 2024. Did I say this was a great car? We love it.
