Best Mercedes I have ever owned. Accept for normal maintenance the car has never had a service call. The Brigstone tires that came with the were terrible. Only got 20,000 miles out of them.

We leased a 2023 EQS 580 sedan. On our first trip, warning messages appeared on the dash. One was a battery failure warning and although I don't remember the exact wording, it might as well have been that the world was about to end. These messages began to alternate. I found a place to park, shut off the car and attempted to restart it. It would not start and every warning light on the dash lite up. After 2 1/2 hours on the phone with MB Roadside Assistance, the car had to be towed and we had to take a Lyft to our hotel. The dealership in Hampton kept the car for 3 days and could not find anything wrong. We carefully drove back home and took it to our dealer in Clearwater. They couldn't find anything wrong either. Shortly thereafter, the car simply came to a stop while we were driving it for no apparent reason with a collision warning image on the dash. This happened 3 times. Again, no problems could be found with the car. The third issue occured in May. We had parked the car on the street in our town and walked accross the street to a hair salon. While paying our bill with the car in full view through the salon's front window, an alert came through the app that our car had just been a collision. It took a series of photos that proved no collision had occured. At the end of the day, these phantom issues became so common with that car we became afraid for our safety, so much so, we would not drive it more than a few miles from home. Our running joke was that the EQS was the world's most expensive golf cart! Contacts with both the dealership and with MBUSA proved to be a waste of time. We were not offered assistance that an owner of a Mercedes Benz should have been able to expect. We have turned in the car and cancelled our single pay lease. We returned to our trusted BMW dealership and purchased a 2025 M440i.
