Great performance- horrible driver interface
Performance as expected of a BMW. Interior luxurious. Best 3rd seat- comfortable for an adult. BUT- to adjust ANYTHING in the vehicle requires a working knowledge of owner’s manual- nothing is intuitive. Dumbest interface ever in a car. - Purchased a New car

Love this amazing car
This BMW is the most luxurious car for a full sized SUV. BMW has really beaten the competition with the X7. The car drives so smooth but you don’t feel like it’s a very large suv. My wife was extremely impressed with how easy it was to drive! The whole car is so well made and I’ve loved having it. The infotainment system is beyond any car in its class. Not reliable at all
This dealership tried to kill my family. Not only did this dealership give us the wrong vehicle that they made right after that mishap, now we having issues with the very vehicle we purchase. Its an 2019 X7, during 2nd service we got the news a part was broken. Vehicle is now leaking oil. To date they still have our dream car, which we saved for years to purchase. Right now I am feeling under underestimated, undervalued, and marginalized. Underestimated because we looked at the vehicle on Sunday upon returning on Tuesday to purchase the vehicle the salesman had already discarded all our paperwork with the believed we could not afford the vehicle. Under valued because when we return for service we are not treated as thought we purchase one of the most expensive vehicle in the BMW line up. My though is they don’t care about the owner anymore. I did not get the treatment or attention I saw other costumers receiving. Siting on a bench upset, mad and disappointed while everyone all around me was getting friendly greeting as well as nice smiles. Marginalized, now that they have our 2019 X7, we did not receive the equivalent of the vehicle we purchase. They put us in a X3. It was only after I complained; we were able to at least get an X5. Not to mention this loaner vehicle was full of dirt and some fluid like splashes of substance on the seat and dash IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC. After cleaning the vehicle we still having issue hooking our phones to the hands free phone connecting due to the vehicle needing updated software. - Purchased a New car

Worse BMW ever
I got a i50 M package about 8 months ago and it has been in shop for 11 times totalling 3 months of down time. Differential locking issue Computer head unit. Navigation malfunction Wireless charger overheating phone. Front seats leather came off. Rear seats stop functioning. - Purchased a New car

Solid vehicle and also beautiful
In my search for a luxury vehicle, I researched various luxury competitors and thought the X7 was the best. Due to that research, I purchased my first BMW and have owned it for one year. I can say that I am not disappointed! The only negative comment I have is the slowness of the power seats from one position to other. This is a very well crafted vehicle. - Purchased a New car

Worst Car Experience In My Life
I purchased a brand new, fully loaded BMW X7 501i in June with all the trimmings... it’s been an awful, time consuming experience. I now have to bring the car back to Laurel BMW of Westmont for the 4th time. Two trips for a faulty alternator which happened two days after purchase, then a camera malfunction/recall, and now there is an issue with the power supply, brakes and chassis. I’m hoping BMW will replace this lemon as myself and my family no longer feel safe inside this vehicle. - Purchased a New car

Not what it advertised to be
Good basic vehicle but it doesn't live up to what it advertised. Lowering and raising ground clearance is a joke. One has to wait almost 30 seconds to reach desired setting. The rear wheel turning feature has minimum effect particularly when in reverse it interferes with the sense of backup direction. The motorized seat setting takes a long time to arrive at the desired setting. - Purchased a New car

BMW X7 50i Fully Optioned-1 Year In
Nice vehicle. People stop me and say “nice truck” or “that thing looks beautiful”. The 50i bigger engine has great power. The dead stop power is ok, but the 40mph to 8mph power is unbelievable and 2nd to none in a 3 row SUV. We have 3 kids and they love road trips in it and prefer it over minivan probably because of the bells and whistles (3rd row climate, their own sun roof, and charging stations) - Purchased a New car

Slips easily into neutral
I owned this car for three months. I liked the heads up display and quite cabin. Accessing the third row seats was painfully slow and sometimes it got stuck if my kids tried to sit down before the motor stopped. I never enjoyed the gear shifter that could easily slips into neutral instead of “park” which is a button on the nob. This caused it to roll down a street after I exited! Major design flaw in my opinion. And yes, the software glitches with driver recognition and settings. - Purchased a New car
