I have owned my Mitsubishi Outlander since 2018 and all
I have owned my Mitsubishi Outlander since 2018 and all I’ve done was buy a battery, tires and brakes and she still gets 35 miles per gallon on gas. I’m afraid to touch it under the hood and only lifted it for window washer fluid and oil changes. I totally love this car. I will buy another one but it will be a 2019 and P.S. I can hold 4 35X12.50X 20LT tires when back seats are down. Best SUV sleeper by far without the expensive prices of Toyota and Honda!!! Buy, Buy, Buy!!! - Purchased a New car

I bought the car with 90,000 on the odometer.
I bought the car with 90,000 on the odometer. The car, when got on it hard, would start hesitating, and struggle to accelerate. The CVT transmission is defiantly a critter to get used to. The biggest negative thing I found about the car is that it noisy on the interstate. A lot of road noise in the cab to the point I have to turn the radio way up! After repairing the hesitation issue, and ignoring the CVT quirks, the car is very reliable. - Does recommend

This car is definitely similar in quality to competitors
This car is definitely similar in quality to competitors with better brand exposure such as Honda or Toyota. In 6 years of ownership My family put almost 105K miles with many trips out of state without any issues. I had typical maintenance such as brakes / rotors and rear struts. NYC roads are not exactly great quality. This car went through a lot and is holding up as good as Honda or Toyota for a lot less money. I have owned Hondas and Toyota's in the past. Toyota Highlander was my first choice it was almost $43k for the fully loaded version at the time. I paid $25K plus tax for the limited S-Mitsubishi Outlander AWD model. Last thing to note when driving smoothly I reached 39 mpg on the highway fully loaded on eco mode crusing at 62 mph. - Does recommend

For Your Information - Mitsubishi 0wners
I have major problem this car, transmission. car has 64,000 miles, problem started around 30,000 mile. Car started to not shift when starting from a dead stop, you could run it up to 4000 rpm, would not shift unless you too your foot off the gas pedal. Took it to the dealer they told me the car is made to shift only when you take your foot off the gas petal. Not true. No service codes indicating a ploblem. Second trip to get the transmission oil changed, told them about the problem again. Told me changing the transmission oil would solve the problem. Problem not solved, again no service codes. Manufacturer would not allow them to work on transmission without service code indicating a problem. Car now has 64,000 miles, took it in at 60,000 miles to service transmission again. Same b.s. told me fluid change would solve the problem, no service codes indicating a problem, so they can't repair it. The car now has additional problems. Just a word to the wise. these cars come with a 60,000 mile 5 year warranty, so what. - Purchased a Used car

Good so far
So far, this vehicle is good on gas, comfortable and controls are driver-friendly (to me). This is the first CV transmission I've had and did take a short time to get used to. All the room I need and comfortable ride. - Purchased a Used car

Most Reliable car ever owned
This car has all the bells and whistles I owned a 2016 that has over 100,000 miles it’s only required regular maintenance and still runs like new. We just bought a 2019 with 1000 miles and I’m sure it will be as good of car - Purchased a Used car

Premium fuel required???
My problem with the Outlander GT is it requires premium fuel? And small, only AWD, but has a 6 cylinder engine but it looks great, but the premium fuel is a deal killer, as is the awd for where we live. It's not a bad vehicle I owed a 98 Ellipse but needs a headline premium fuel. Most larger SUV's do not. Could be a warranty issue. - Purchased a Used car
