This truck has plenty of impressive features — it’s smooth on the road, relatively dependable, and genuinely enjoyable to drive. I have the version with the 240-mile range, which is perfectly adequate for daily city driving and short commutes. However, if you plan to use it for road trips, be prepared for some major headaches. Unfortunately, Ford’s charging infrastructure is still far behind where it needs to be. I can’t count how many times I’ve arrived at a Ford dealership expecting to charge, only to find there’s no fast charger at all — or worse, the designated spots are blocked by non-EV inventory. Even more frustrating, the Blue Oval app often shows chargers as available and working, but once you pull in, the staff will tell you they’ve been out of service for months. This really highlights the lack of commitment some dealerships have toward supporting EV owners. Another downside is that Tesla Superchargers don’t show up in the Blue Oval app — you have to download and manage the Tesla app separately if you want to access their network. To make matters worse, the Tesla adapter that was promised took over a year to arrive, so I eventually gave up and just ordered one myself on Amazon. One more annoyance: the steering wheel hands-on warning system. If you’re driving straight for an extended stretch, the truck will nag you with loud beeping until you touch the wheel again — and it even mutes your music or phone calls until you comply. Ford really needs to address this in future updates. All in all, while I genuinely enjoy driving this truck around town, I wouldn’t buy another Ford EV until they catch up with other manufacturers. There’s a lot of potential here, but the lack of charging support and basic user experience issues make it feel like Ford’s EV program is still an afterthought.

Best truck ever
What an awesome truck. It will allow me to do everything I could do in my regular F150. It is a fun vehicle. No, I am not towing long distances often. It is Used for traveling 50-75 miles daily. I can also take out of town trips with it, no issues.
