car performes well , overall satisfied with it , but it has a rust issue ! rust under the rear wheel frame on both sides , rust under the rear lift gate , chrome on the wheel reems peeling .

Great BUT horrible when it break!

This car got me from point A to B BUT after a year I started having electrical issues. Then my power steering started freezing up. I wasn’t the only person who had issues with the power steering because I coworker almost crashed leaving the school and hit kids because she was unable to turn the wheel of her car! I tried to get it taken care of but Ford didn’t think it was of their fault! Again it was good while it lasted but HORRIBLE when something went wrong.

Used to own this car

Lots to like about the Escape: Decent gas mileage, performance and looks. Very reliable. Downsides: terrible traction in the snow, poor performance. I would recommend this vehicle if you're looking basic transportation.
