[Upbeat Rock Music] Hi, I'm Patrick Olson, managing editor for cars.com. We're here in sunny, Savannah, Georgia, looking at Lexus's ISF its high performance car That's targeted people who might consider the BMW M three or the AMV from Mercedes-Benz.
How do you know you're in the ISF? Well, Lexus make sure that you know. First there's badging on the steering wheel, on the headrest and down below on the seat. In addition, there's all the amenities that Lexis has to offer, including this nice accent stitching both on the steering wheel and on the front of your seats. The ISF is a sedan as evidenced by the four doors. But if you're an adult and you want to get into the back seat, you might want to think twice. the driver's seat here is exactly where I put it to drive and I'm having a hell of a time getting behind it. I can, but I wouldn't want to drive for more than a couple of blocks this way. [Engine Revving] The ISF offers great acceleration and it shifts kind of seamlessly in its eight speed, automatic transmission. Now the brakes are a little grabby, but you want that because when you've got this much power, You want to make sure that you're going to stop. Now, the ride's a little bit rough, but that comes with a sports suspension and the low profile tires. The ISF is a sleek high-performance car that's a lot of fun to drive if you can stand the seat bolsters. And it won't hold four adults very well, but you know what? If you're gonna spend this much money on a car, I doubt very much you're worried about the back seat. For additional information on this car or any other go to cars.com and our blog kicking tires.
