More than 173,500 Porsche vehicles are being recalled over an issue with the rearview camera.

Affected vehicles include model-year 2019-25 Cayenne and Cayenne E-Hybrid SUVs, model-year 2020-25 911 and Taycan sports cars, model-year 2024-25 Panamera sedans and model-year 2025 Panamera E-Hybrid sedans. The rearview camera image may not display when the vehicle is in Reverse, reducing driver visibility and increasing the risk of a crash.

To resolve the issue, dealers will update the driver-assistance software for free. Interim letters notifying owners of the issue are expected to be mailed Feb. 16, 2026; a second letter will be sent once the remedy is available. Those with further questions in the meantime can contact Porsche customer service at 800-767-7243 (Porsche’s number for this recall is ASB2), the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
