2007-2009 Nissan Passenger Sensor Issue

The problem: A voluntary recall campaign will inspect the occupant classification system varistor in the front passenger seat cushion. This is a sensor that lets the car know whether or not an airbag should fire, depending on whether there is a passenger in that seat.

Corrective action: The front passenger seat cushion will be replaced.

Warranty info: This service bulletin is being performed free of charge under this special safety campaign.
