BMW knows refinement. The next-generation X3 is getting the smallest of exterior and interior changes; most car buyers will have a hard time noticing. Far more interesting is the all-new 3.0-liter engine that produces 272 hp 260 hp, up from 222 hp in the 2006’s 3.0-liter.
There isn’t much more information concerning pricing or when the X3 will arrive at dealerships, but expect prices to remain close to the 2006’s starting figure of $36,800.
Also, the convenient cargo nets in the doors – which I always find useful in my mother-in-law’s X3 – have been replaced with more traditional molded cargo bins.
