The problem: Owners may report extended cranking times or hard-to-start conditions. This could be due to ignition timing conditions that come up intermittently.
Corrective action: Dealers will reprogram the engine control module with a new software program that eliminates the condition.
Warranty info: This repair is being done free of charge under a special warranty program good for eight years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the original vehicle in-service date.
