The U.S. press will see it a few days later during the media preview for the New York International Auto Show. The new Malibu will be labeled a 2013 model year, meaning it can’t be sold until at least Jan. 1, 2012. We’d expect sales to start in the first half of 2012.

It looks to be a nearly complete rendering. We’d guess that the large wheels are the only exaggerated element.
