CARS.COM — Vehicles affected by service bulletin:
The problem: Drivers may experience a metallic clicking/rasping noise from the engine while it’s running. The noise may be more prevalent when the engine is cold. This may be caused by a noisy high-pressure fuel pump outlet valve.
Corrective action: Dealers will replace one or both high-pressure fuel pumps.
Warranty info: This service bulletin is being performed free of charge under the provisions of the new-vehicle warranty.
What owners should do: Call your local dealer with your vehicle’s identification number to determine if it’s involved in this service bulletin. You can call Land Rover at 800-637-6837 or NHTSA at 888-327-4236. Reference TSB No. TECLTB007103.
