2015 Ford F-150 Transmission Software Upgrade

Ford has released a service bulletin regarding a powertrain glitch in the transmission software that makes the shift from 5th to 4th gear harder than it should be.

According to the service bulletin published at Cars.com, dealers will update the software free of charge under warranty. Call your local dealer with your vehicle's identification number to determine if it's involved in this service campaign. You can also call Ford at 800-241-3673 or NHTSA at 888-327-4236.
