The problem: Affected vehicles equipped with integrated memory seats may exhibit a condition where the side mirrors do not return to their exact position after reversing the vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle may not start after sitting for a while due to a dead battery. This is attributed to power being drawn from the battery even with the key off. This stems from a software glitch in the driver’s and assist door modules.
Corrective action: Dealers will update the software for the driver’s and assist door modules, which will eliminate the problem.
Warranty info: This service campaign is being performed free of charge under the limited new-car warranty.
