Vehicles Affected: Approximately 8,000 model-year 2018 Genesis G80 and model-year 2017-18 Genesis G90 luxury sedans equipped with 3.3-liter turbocharged engines

The Problem: The turbocharger oil supply pipe may have a loose seal, causing oil to leak onto the exhaust manifold and increasing the risk of a fire.

The Fix: Dealers will replace the turbocharger oil supply pipe for free.

What Owners Should Do: Genesis manufacturer Hyundai will begin notifying owners Sept. 6. Owners can call the automaker at 855-371-9460, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
