Vehicles Affected: Approximately 170 model-year 2019 Dodge Challenger coupes and Challenger sedans
The Problem: An incompatible front wheel and brake package was installed and may allow the front tire to contact the steering knuckle, causing tire damage and a loss of air pressure, and increasing the risk of a crash.
The Fix: Dealers will replace the front wheels and inspect and replace the front tires as necessary. Additionally, dealers will inspect the wheel alignment and adjust as necessary. Both repairs will be done for free.
What Owners Should Do: Dodge manufacturer Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will begin notifying owners Dec. 13. Owners can call the automaker at 800-853-1403, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
