2020 Porsche 911: Recall Alert
Vehicles Affected: Approximately 1,900 model-year 2020 Porsche 911 sports cars
The Problem: Due to a software error, the hazard warning lights may not function when activated by an operator, increasing the risk of a crash.
The Fix: Dealers will reprogram the control unit for free.
What Owners Should Do: Porsche will begin notifying owners Feb. 9. Owners can call the automaker at 800-767-7243, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
