Refreshed Styling
In front, the 2025 Cadillac CT5 wears a larger, more upright grille flanked by an updated take on the brand’s signature vertical lighting and stacked LED headlamps. On CT5 Sport trims, the grille gets a blacked-out treatment and adds black mesh and trim. The blockier front end is contrasted by the sedan’s sleeker, more fastback-looking profile.
Two new exterior paint colors, Deep Space Metallic and Typhoon Metallic, are available for 2025, as well.
Carryover Powertrains
For 2025, the CT5’s powertrains carry over. The sedan comes standard with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 237 horsepower and 258 pounds-feet of torque; a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 that makes 335 hp and 405 pounds-feet of torque is available. As in prior model years, both engines are mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Cadillac said the sport-oriented 2025 CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing will be announced at a later date. For 2024, the CT5-V has a 360-hp, twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6, and the CT5-V Blackwing is powered by a 668-hp, supercharged 6.2-liter V-8.
Rear-wheel drive is again standard and all-wheel drive is optional. A drive mode selector tailors the sedan’s steering response, engine sound and brake feel via four modes: Tour, Sport, Snow/Ice and a customizable MyMode. Dual exhaust tips are also standard.
Comfort and Convenience Features

Inside, the big news is the addition of a 33-inch diagonal LED color touchscreen display, similar to what’s in the 2024 XT4 SUV and Lyriq electric vehicle. It replaces the previous version’s gauge cluster and tabletlike multimedia screen that sat atop the center of the dash. The new, larger setup is a continuous screen that curves toward the driver and spans both areas.
Cadillac says the screen is capable of 9K resolution and incorporates a customizable user interface for a more personalized experience than the outgoing version. The system also comes with Google Built-In technology with access to Google Assistant, Google Maps and Google Play. Capability for a 5G Wi-Fi hot spot is also newly available for 2025.
New standard safety and driver-assistance features include Blind Zone Steering Assist and Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, while traffic sign recognition and Intelligent Speed Assist systems are newly available for 2025. Also, the Super Cruise hands-free driver-assistance system is again available for the refreshed model and comes with a new driver attention monitor feature.
Pricing and Availability
There’s no word yet on pricing, but Cadillac says the 2025 CT5 will be produced at GM’s Lansing Grand River Assembly facility in Michigan starting in spring 2024.
